Two stars because the service is fast if you are in a pinch. But they make up their prices based on who you are. When I’m with my(male) partner, they quote me a price that is much cheaper. When I’m by myself, they hike the price up 20 dollars. I’m not one to be confrontational so I have never said anything to the employees directly, but I won’t be coming back here.

Don’t even waste your time and go to this store. They always take advantage from people, My phone was not even fixed and they took advantage from me by buying it for cheap, while its screen alone costs more than the money that they paid me for it. And for the fixing refund it took forever.

I was looking for a place to repair my Nexus 6 phone screen and Techmission was great! First, I submitted quote requests on Unilocal for 8 places. Danish from TM was the first to respond within minutes of my message. He also said he would beat any quotes and he gave me the best price. He was also super nice and flexible. He put my part aside, and when I said I couldn’t make it until the next day, he again responded quickly and held my screen aside. I also got a Glass Screen Protector. It’s my first time getting one. I like it except there’s about 5−10mm of a raised halo on the side. Not sure if this is normal for this screen protector, so not going to rate it negatively, just noting because I’m usually a purist with my phone screens and it bothers me a bit(hence the broken screen). On the plus side, I got a glass screen protector installed/applied and a decent case for $ 25 total. I would go back if I needed to, but I hope I never have to… Broken phone screens are no fun, but Danish and TM made it as pleasant as it can be.

HORRENDOUS service — three times my husband has been told that the phone parts will be in the day after to repair the screen on a Sony Experia. It has been 8 days. Today I called at lunchtime and I specifically asked if the parts were in as my husband was ready to take it somewhere else. I was told yes and it would be ready this afternoon. I called at 4pm and was told the part did not come in by the same person — her name is Leslie. So they basically lied at lunchtime.

Chris at the store is super competent and honest guy. He gave me an advice about how to fix a damaged touchscreen without spending too much money. He was not just trying to charge as much as possible, and sell extra stuff like so many tech shops do. He repaired my phone super fast, too. Great job!

My iPhone 5S had a faulty screen for a number of weeks. I rang around and I was immediately quoted $ 169 by someone who just wanted to replace the screen and whatever he could. When I called Techmission, I let them know what was going on — they suggested I bring it in before they started to try sell me stuff. Turns out I did need a new screen, the old one had actually split. They repaired the damaged back cover, ensured that all was in order with the phone, told me that the work was guaranteed, took my contact details in case I lost the receipt, they resolved the problem on a windows phone I brought in, sold me an replacement Apple headset for $ 13 on offer, they were super polite and helpful. The screen replacement was $ 89. I hope I don’t need to return — that would mean my phone has broken again. However if anyone has a faulty phone, then this is really the place to go. Thanks Techmission.

Came to visit a friend on Mission in San Francisco for a girls night out in Friday. We went to grab a bite to eat at a Mexican restaurant. Leaving the restaurant I dropped my phone on the sidewalk looking for my keys. Next thing I hear is crack and I’m like no… My friend that lives in mission recommended this place and got to say I love the service here. Only charged me $ 70 to fix my iPhone 5s and got a compliment on my shoes :) I thought my night was ruin but thanks for saving my night and for fixing it so fast.

I’ve been using Unilocal for years now but this is my first time writing a review. Seems like I break my phone every 6 months. So this is not the first repair shop I’ve been to but by far the best service I’ve ever had. The Asian guy(sorry don’t remember his name) in the front was very friendly and helpful. I broke my iPhone 6 and they guy in the back fixed it for me for a very reasonably price. It only took 30 mins to fix. While I was waiting he would ask me how I was doing and joking around with the the whole time. I told him that it was the best experience I ever had and would write a review on Unilocal for the great experience. I would definitely recommend coming here the get your phone fixed.

Celebrating as hard as was necessary, I damaged my MacBook Air screen by rolling on it like a turtle shell down the stairs of the 16th street BART station. Tech Mission found a replacement display for a good price and fixed it like new.

Had my iPhone 5s screen repaired here for around two-thirds of what Apple charges. Five stars for the service, minus one for a few hassles along the way and a few extra hours added to the short repair time estimate. After the initial pickup of my phone 40 mins later(yes, mostly on time!), I had to discover for myself that a few things weren’t working, which should have been easily testable and made me a bit nervous. In the end, the two nice guys running the shop made sure I was all set and everything came out fine.

Had a two screens replaced and a digitizer replaced for a Samsung galaxy s5. Awesome work with amazing customer service. Prices for getting these phones repaired was cheaper than I expected, so you definitely can’t be upset at that.

Thieves! Today I was extremely disappointed by the conduct of the owners and staff at tech mission. I have been coming here for years and today they showed me real customer appreciation. — I came in to have my phone repaired they did not finish the repair properly. As a result my screen was detached from the phone. As it was my birthday I did not return the same day. A week went by before I had a chance to come back to have the problem solved. — they refused to fix it or take accountability for the for the problem. Not only that when I refused to leave until we could agree on a solution they called the police. Appalling!

Nice little store very clean and organized in the inside don’t judge the outside lol. I went in about my cracked screen on my 3DS and I got a great friendly welcome and wonderful help about it even though it wasn’t a tablet and I thought that it might be more advanced to fix because the 3DS has a 3-D screen up top. But said they can see what they can do for me. So I’m very happy to hear that and I am just glad that the price is under $ 90 specially for a 3DS. Thanks for the help everyone.

While the initial check-in experience of dropping my damaged IPhone was friendly and informative, this entire repair adventure turned into a disaster!.I would highly suggest not to trust your electronics here. I brought my phone in right as they opened on Monday AM. I was told it would be analyzed same day and get call with update by mid day. I called twice a day for 3x days with no info. Finally e6pm was told it was damaged beyond repair. I asked if I could run over and collect and it was in condition I brought it in(lLED broken but still readable via iTunes so back-up possible. I was told to come over which I did. At store I was handed phone with back off and all parts loose and screws missing. I pointed it out and was told it would still connect to computer and otherwise had to talk to tech who was not there. Needless to say it was dead. I returned 3x next day before tech was finally there. She was too busy to help me suddenly. They stole my money claiming to analyze my phone and retuned it way more disfuntional and losing all my data

Santiago was really helpful and friendly. Fixed my iphone screen and the weird problem with my speaker. He was very personable and answered all of my questions! The staff are very nice, and outgoing. Service was quick! The saturday 1 $ for cellphone cases is a great deal also!

«And that’s why I’m not allowed to have nice things,» I scolded, as I turned over my phone to see an all too familiar sight: a shattered screen. These guys didn’t shame me for my clumsiness, changed the screen, and I was out of there faster than getting off hold with Sprint’s Customer Service. What’s more, they offered some sweet jams to help pass the time. KC& Jo Jo?! They showed me some über cases to protect my phone, but I declined for a cute pink one instead. Glad you guys are around. Cuz I break things. I’ll see you again soon… sigh.

Was trying to sell an iPhone 5 with a cracked screen. CEX wouldn’t take it. GameStop wouldn’t either, but told me to try here. Santiago was friendly, knowledgable, and gave me $ 225 for it. They also actually fix phones instead of shipping them off to China.
