Dropped by for 3 tacos. I love the convenience, as I live just around the corner. $ 2 tacos/$ 3 super tacos is a pretty good deal. The service was very friendly, the salsa verde was amazing, and the plate included a roasted jalapeño that was delicious. I ordered carnitas, al pastor and chicken. Unfortunately, when I got home the tortillas were totally soggy and I could not pick them up. Other than that, pretty decent tacos!

My boyfriend and I stopped before heading into Speakeasy for some beers and were more than surprised by this food truck. The $ 2 or $ 3 tacos(sour cream and avocado making the super taco at $ 3) were a hit right before we landed amazing beers. The guys running the food truck were friendly and authentic… despite hardly being able to understand their thick Spanish accents, we discussed food options with ease. What a Unilocal treat to find this taco truck early in our SF adventures!

Tacos are real good and cheaper than anywhere I’ve seen this side of the bay.

This is my favorite taco truck! We eat her many times a month. It’s fresh, great food at a wonderful price and the people are very nice. I order the super vegetarian tacos — yum! While I don’t eat dead animals, I’m told the meat there is wonderful too. These great folks have also just agreed to be at my charity event for Breast Cancer Action on Sat. 9⁄28 from 1−6pm at the Speakeasy: — so now I love them even more! If you feel like enjoying your wonderful meal from them by the water, take a little walk down the street(or an even shorter drive) to the India Basin Shoreline Park.

why are there only 6 reviews? THISISTHEBESTTACOTRUCKEVER! i love this truck! It is located across the street by the Bayview Post Office on Evans. My coworker brought me here and I’m so thankful she did! The first time I came here, we came pretty late for lunch… maybe around 2:30 or 3? They ran out of my fave al pastor meat but the tacos I ordered were still amazing! They gave me the HUGEST slices of avocados ever!!! Maybe even two slices per taco! At first, I thought maybe it was a mistake? Since it’s after the lunch rush, they wanna get rid of their avocados? NOPE! I came back here again with the boyfriend and to my relief… MUYGRANDEPIECEOFAVOCADO! =) I’ve also had their burrito which was just as delicious as the tacos. I think the burrito was $ 7 and it’s $ 2.50 per taco, which is kinda pricey for a small taco, but so worth it! the avocado makes it BOMB! They also have self serve salsa which was empty both times I’ve been, but just ask! They will bring out a new batch! Can’t wait to try all the other things on the menu.

Discovered this taco truck outside my office and it is a find! I’ve tried their al pastor, carne asada and carnitas. They gave me a free sample of buche, which I’ve never tried. With my limited spanish I discovered it was pork stomach. It was suprisingly tasty and I’m not an organ meat fan. I enjoy their pico de gallo and tomatillo salsa. It’s great for a quick snack for full meal. Their quesadillas(cheese and choice of meat) are huge. I want to try a torta and burrito soon.

Great traditional taco with authentic variety of meats Carnitas, Al Pastor, Carne Asada, chicken etc also including exotic varieties like lengua tripitas, buche etc. Excellent tortas(Mexican sandwitch) with generous portion. The owner Geraldo is a nice man and very professional chef proprietor.

This is by far the best taco I have ever eaten! Great smiling service, fast and very reasonably priced. The chicken super taco comes with sliced avocado and a grilled(not hot) jalapeño, lemon slice and a happy feeling you just can’t get from any lunch! The location is a bit far out there but near the main post office in case you have a postal emergency of some kind!

When a mis-guided Google directions search plunked me and my man down in Bayview-Hunters Point — instead of the boat dock that was to take us on a indulgent lunch cruise paid for by a nuptial couple — I redeemed the moment by remembering that I’d seen a taco truck two blocks away. As my man mentally beat himself up for missing out on an open bar, I comforted him with $ 2.25 tacos. The chicken was juicy. The al pastor was a blissful pile of shredded fried pork. Bonus for generosity with the avocado slices. Their menu of the day — and yes, this is a taco truck with a menu of the day — included lots of other tempting goodies like fish tacos, while the regular menu is proud of it’s egg-chorizo breakfast options. And they had chairs and a table. Pretty swank for a taco truck As a Mission resident, I won’t head all the way over to Taco Rodriguez on purpose — the tacos were good but not mind-blowing. But, given the utter lack of any other food in sight of their spot, this truck’s location is good to know.

This taco truck is usually parked somewhere near the big post office on Evans Ave. or the White Cap on Jennings St. has fresh food and a longer menu than most other taco trucks. Maybe some day I’ll even try their hot dogs! They also sometimes set up tables and chairs. Their salsa verde is some of the best I’ve had. SFDPHEH Score 96⁄100 on 4⁄09
