Best tacos and service ever! If you’ve have not tried them yet, do not hesitate at all. They’re awesome. Look them up to see where they’re going to be at and get the mini tacos and quesadillas. Worth the money.

Stopped by for a quick mid-week lunch. If you need to grab food and get back to the office in 15 minutes, this is the place to go! Ordered 3 Pollo Tacos from the friendly counter guy — For $ 2 each you get grilled, well-seasoned, moist chicken on two 4″ corn tortillas with onion, cilantro, salsa, a radish slice, and a small lime wedge. Tasty, cheap, and fast? Done! My only bit of constructive criticism is that the lime pieces were too tiny for me to get any juice out. It was fun squishing all of them, though. ;-) Next time I need to step out for lunch and am in the mood for some solid tacos, I’ll be back!

Ivan just catered my husband’s 50th birthday party on Ocean Beach. He is a can do man. So flexible, reliable, and friendly. He arrived early and had his equipment set up on the windy beach ahead of time. Despite the difficult conditions, Ivan and his gang served up some amazing food! I had many foodies there and everyone was raving about the fresh, delicious food. I cannot recommend him enough. You can hire his food truck services or have him cook on site. Best tacos in SF!

first timer here and it’s going to be my last time. pretty good size portion of a super burrito, but on my 2nd bite of my burrito there’s a little rock in my mouth. Then the burrito is not even warm the rice is cold. Didn’t give me an impression for me to go back for a 2nd try.

Tacos El Tuca kills it for taco trucks love the tacos, burritos and tortas the carnitas and al pastor are my go to favorites. I’ve followed Ivan and his truck from San Bruno to SF with no disappointments. If you’re looking for food consistency Tuca is it!

Torta I got was moldy! C’mon bro that’s bush league! Tacos looked good but this is a joke. It was right on top of the bun! How do you miss that?! With so many other food trucks around here, I cannot in good confidence recommend this one.

I ate here for lunch while the truck was at the G Food Truck Lounge on Second Street in SOMA. I had two tacos, one chicken and one carnitas; both were tasty. Not much else to say about this. They were your basic taco truck tacos, nothing fancy, but still enjoyable.

A San Francisco born and bred mentality with roots in Jalisco, Mexico. For us having grown up in San Francisco, we had the pleasure of sampling so many different foods. When your friend gets a taco truck you remember spitting out some AP Spanish. You remember showing up at Ivan’s house eating some Nopales. Basically you remember how the friend you wish would start a food truck is the friend that starts one.

I work nearby and frequent this truck at lunchtime. I’m a taco guy so I can only speak to their tacos, but I can’t stop eating them. Their carnitas taco is the best I’ve ever had. I’ve plowed through five of those at one sitting. The carne and pollo are good but the carnitas. Their hot sauce compliments the carnitas perfectly as it’s smokey and flavorful. Or maybe that’s just the carnitas influencing it. Either way, get it with the hot sauce. You(probably) won’t regret it. The tacos remind me of the baja style tacos you get in SoCal. Not many places up here do that style justice, if they do it at all. Reminds me of the legendary King Taco, except they’re in a truck and they’re in San Francisco instead of LA. And they’re better. PS They are no longer cash only! They’re on the Square tip. They were the rare establishment where I suspended my ‘screw this place, they’re cash only’ rule, but it’s nice to have the card option now.

One of the better tasting taco trucks out there. Their super burrito $ 8 isn’t very super. In fact it’s pretty normal sized. I got mine without lettuce. I’m just not a fan of burritos with lettuce in them. Their tacos are. $ 1.75 and looked pretty good, but I would need at least 4 of those lil guys for lunch. The best burrito for me is still on Taraval. Go find it urself the lines are long enough.

We went to the SOMA Food Truck Park and decided to try this place. The food here is bland. Every bite of the food tasted the same. The chicken on my taco didn’t have much flavor. And I could barely taste the steak on the nacho because it was so bland. The chips were bit stale too. A complete waste room in my stomach. If you want Mexican food truck, I suggest you walk to the one by Best Buy.

I’ve never been into that new age hippie shit of reiki, psychics, healers, crystals, hobo beards and Jesus shoes. My mom is. She insists the only reason I’m no longer single is because she asked a healer to remove a negative block so I can find love. Umm yah, can they make me rich and skinny too? Recently, SoCal Unilocalie Joe P. said that I was probably born Mexican in my previous life because of my love for Mexican food especially for lengua, cabeza, and menudo. Come to think of it, he’s probably right. I prefer Mexican food over my native cuisine(s) and eat it the most often out of all cuisines. Besides no one does lengua right like Mexicans(and Latins) do. Just leave out the rice, sour cream, and cheese and you’ll have cheap and filling protein packed meal. However, having the most disgusting lengua burrito the night before at Taqueria Vallarta(lesson learned; only go to their taco bar), the last thing I wanted was Mexican food at SoMa StrEat Eats Food Park. We had placed an order at Me So Hungry truck but they were taking a ridiculously long time for our food. That’s when I noticed nearby El Tuca truck. It was 2:30 pm and everyone was starving since it was our first meal of the day. I decided to walk over to El Tuca and check it out. El Tuca started out in San Bruno( ) but San Francisco and SoMa StrEat Food Park is now their home. Their menu is standard and offers Tacos($ 1.75), Burritos($ 7), Tortas($ 6), Quesadillas($ 6.50), and Dinner Platos($ 7.50). Make it «super»(sour cream, cheese, and guac) for an additional $ 1. They have 5 kinds of meats: Carne Adasa(steak), Pollo Asado(chicken), Al Pastor(marinated pork), Carnitas(roasted pork), and Lengua(beef tongue). Cash only. Needed something good for sharing with my friends, I asked if they had nachos. It wasn’t on the menu but the owner, Ivan was nice enough to make an order for me. Usually my go-to meat is lengua but I ordered it with carne asada since some of my friends don’t like ethnic«delicacies». Within minutes, the most beautiful plate of nachos were presented to me: . As I walked back to our table, on-lookers were eye-raping my plate. A heaping pile of deliciously crunchy tortilla chips were layered with melted jack cheese(none of that fake cheese whiz shit), tender pinto beans, generous amount of carne asada, pico de gallo, sour cream, guac, crispy bites of lettuce, a creamy green sauce and salsa verde. Everything was super fresh but what made it for me was the carne asada and their sauces. The Carne Asada was a tad dry but VERY flavorful. Their green sauce and salsa verde are bomb alone but together they were created an amazing combo of creaminess, tang, and heat. Needless to say, we loved the nachos and all the mouth-watering layers. It was one of the best nachos I’ve had! Mmm, that carne asada and them sauces together. It definitely trumps El FARTlito’s(El Farolito) which 7×7 picked as the best carne asada in SF. I beg to differ unless you like eating chewy and gristly salt pucks, then by all means. 7×7 seriously needs to start seeking out legit ethic eateries other than those that cater to hipsters sloshed off PBRs.

I remember seeing Tacos El Tuca parked on El Camino last year. I should have stopped for a taco then. They no longer go to San Bruno but consider SOMA Streat Food Park to be their new home. The price went up from $ 1 to $ 1.75 per taco. They also have burritos, quesadillas, tortas and dinner plates. Meat choices: carne asada, lengua, carnitas, al pastor, pollo asado My plate of tacos came with sliced radishes, a few slivers of pickled jalapenos and lime wedges. The meats were cooked well. They add more cilantro than average. * Lengua taco($ 1.75): typical small street taco size with two small corn tortillas with slighty crispy edges, generously topped with medium size chunks of tender, nicely seasoned lengua, salsa(your choice of hot or mild), tons of cilantro and tons of chopped onion. I liked the size of the lengua cubes. They weren’t the most tender ever but they were definitely tender. Their tacos are flavorful and the salsa is very good. The taco was quite wet. * Al pastor taco($ 1.75): The al pastor wasn’t as good as the lengua. The meat had a bit of sweetness but was a bit too salty. It was liberally coated in spices and flavorful. The taco also had too much liquid. Pick up the buy 10 tacos, get 1 free bonus card. Cash only.

I ordered a couple of regular tacos from their SOMA Streat Food location and I was very impressed. They filled it with lots of meat, cilantro, onions, and spicy salsa with some peppers, radishes, and limes on the side. At $ 1.75, it’s good value and it is high quality authentic taqueria style food. It’s kind of funny that I chose to get boring tacos from this food truck park with so many other non-traditional options all around me. Traditional Mexican food is always a nice fallback option in case the other options seem a bit too far-fetched and/or pricey. Highly recommend their tacos!

Pretty good and quick… But the ratio is a bit off in the burritos… Not much sour cream, guacamole, or salsa… A lot of rice and meat. I wanted a little more flavor from the extras and not so much rice. Very good meat though… The asada meets are quite good. Quesadillas are very large and yummy but same complaint with lack of sour cream and fixins. Chips were ok but no sauce provided to dip not and they don’t have much flavor on their own… Not the best I have had but not bad.

I really wish I liked their food more because the guy who works the truck is so nice, but alas, I did not. I got the Super Taco, one taco with carne asada and one with lengua(beef tongue). The tacos are big and two is more than enough for a meal, so at $ 6 total, it’s definitely a great deal. However, the flavors were kind of bland. The carne asada wasn’t very juicy and didn’t have much taste to it. If it hadn’t been for the accompanying sour cream, the entire taco would have tasted like water(since the tortilla and lettuce weren’t exactly packed with flavor). The lengua was even worse. I’m normally not a fan of tongue, but I don’t mind eating it if there are other flavors masking its taste. There was no such thing in this case, so it was like eating a giant, diced-up slab of tongue with a bit of salt and pretty much nothing else. No thanks.

The food was pretty bland… unless you get the hot sauce. I was excited that they had lengua, but disappointed because it was lacking in flavor. I do like how they nicely cut up the quesadilla.
