T & L T Shirt

$ 11.97 for three adult shirts.
Super nice people working here!
They take credit cards too!

I bought three t shirts for $ 10.99 at this store. When the lady gave me the credit card slip to sign, she began pointing to items around the store and telling me about them, as I signed the slip and gave it to her.
I walked to the financial district to have lunch, and then I received an alert on my phone that I had just charged $ 119.44 at T & L T shirts. What??? I looked at my credit card slip and sure enough she charged me that amount.
I had to leave my lunch and walk back to china town.
Sure enough, when I walked in the lady was no where to be found.
I asked an older male employee for the manager and explained the situation to him. He told me that she wasn’t here and that I should come back later (as in tomorrow) I told him that I wasn’t going anywhere and that I was going to stay here.
Sure enough, the manager comes walking in.
I explained the situation to her, and again she told me to wait while she tried to contact the lady who rang me up.
All in all I heard about 50 million excuses, no apology, and I had to wait around for a half hour.
I really want to say that it was an honest mistake, but how on earth did she get that number? And I saw that she had a copy of the slip with the total amount of sales up to that point written on my receipt, so she clearly knew how much she charged me.
I’ve learned my lesson, ALWAYS check your slip before signing it, and better yet… pay IN CASH!

Two middle aged Chinese ladies helped me find some hoodies for my niece and nephews — and didn’t mind me going back and forth a zillion times between different styles and colors and sizes.
Hilarity ensued when one lady asked if I wanted to buy another shirt for my wife: when I told her I had none, she was sorry and wondered if I was divorced. Upon which I told her that those were for my niece and nephews. She was alternating between laughter and apologies.
