I’d have to say for it being on Market and being a small little spot; I’m surprised it’s not much more busy. I took a friend here for her birthday and had to try their all you can eat AND drink! $ 30 a person — HELLYA! We started off with 3 rolls, and some saké bombs! I do have to say it took awhile for the rolls to come out even though there were only two other small parties there but we enjoyed the saké bombs while we waited. The fish was fresh tasting and the rolls were overwhelmingly made with rice. we did a second round and enjoyed some appetizers and Katsu this time round — SOGOOD! I’d have to say all in all, I’d totally go here again! Oh and fun fact, The Mint, a karaōke bar is right next door. You can watch people singing on the tv behind the sushi bar!

Honestly this is the best place to get unlimited food and drinks. It’s the cutest little place in Church and they really hook it up. Jessica is dope too! Best waitress ever; she really was awesome and really provided great service. Sushi is A+++++ quality too. Seriously go here!!!

Tasty rolls in and relaxed environment! Fresh ingredients and the best spicy tuna aka dynamite rolls with substituted extra spicy tuna in lieu of seaweed salad due to a sesame allergy… Always willing to make special requests and they deliver next door if u rather karaōke at the Mint while u eat!!!

This place is a rip off. Got a specialty roll. Waitress told me it would be 8 pieces and it was only 6. The size was super small too. The specialty roll is supposed to be larger than a regular California roll and it was the same size. They were also really stingy with their napkins. What the hell?! I would’ve complained but we were next door at the karaōke bar and I was already given a bad look earlier because I wanted to start a tab(to combine the appetizer and main course). Later on I saw a guy with fried chicken. He said he got it from one of those delivery services that you contact through an app. Try that if you’re at the karaōke joint.

This is a great little Sushi Place attached the The Mint. The all you can eat special is a terrific value and quite dangerous when you try to maximize said value. Nevertheless, the fish is good and a wonderful neighborhood establishment. Lots of vegetarian options.

Terrible service. You want food? Might as well grow your own crops and wait 4 months, because that’ll be faster. We order all you can eat and drink; more like all you can drink and wait 2 hours for a single order of sushi. It is raw fish: how long does it take to cook the fish? BAD, DONOTEATHERE, I WILLNEVERCOMEBACK.

First try at Sushi Delight and I am bummed I got the bento box with Katsu(it was ok) Teriyaki beef(not good at all) and the spring rolls(tasted like ones you get in the freezer section at the grocery store). I got the Dynamite Roll as well and a California roll too. The Dynamite Roll tasted kind of strange to me. I did not try the California roll(yet) because everything was just not good, I didn’t want to bother with it. Now I got all this food I didn’t finish, and I don’t want to waste it, but I don’t know if giving it to someone else would be a good idea. we will see. Hopefully it was only gross because it was delivered a bit late, but I will not be trying it again.

Came here a few times with a bunch of my friends for their«All you can Eat & Drink @ $ 29! What a great deal! I really like their special rolls especially the Giant Roll. Everything here is very fresh! Love the Sake Bomb! Gotta try it… right next door is the Mint karaōke bar! After bombing away those sake and with a full stomach u can crash into the Mint and have some more fun! What a great combination. This is a great place to hang around after a hard working day! BTW forgot to mention, the all u can eat and drink do have a set rule for u to follow which I think it’s fair! And they also have a regular menu.

I was craving sushi, so I used my handy dandy Unilocal app and searched sushi in my area. Ugh. There’s a sushi place 3 blocks from me? How have I never heard of this place. I thought why the hell not, I’ll give it a go! I walked right on over, which took a total of 60 seconds. It’s right next to The Mint, and when I entered I realized that it’s actually connected to The Mint! I was confused because I go to The Mint every so often, and I feel like I would have remembered that there was a sushi spot connected? Then I realized the reason I never noticed is because I’m always a little tipsy when I’m at The Mint ;-) I was the only customer in the restaurant, which is always kind of a. sign. But, the chefs looked busy, and there was a line of to go orders scattered on the bar. This lead me to the conclusion that this spot is more popular for delivery than eating in. Which, I totally understand, as I have over 500 Eat24 delivery orders to date!(No shame.) I got the bento box with avocado/cucumber roll, california roll, and chicken teriyaki. About as BASIC as you can get when it comes to sushi. How on earth could you screw this up? First comes out the miso soup. I’m aware that most sushi spots make their miso soup using a mix with hot water, and throw in some generic tofu bits. But, I still usually end up liking it. THIS soup tasted like hot water with pepper. Pretty bad. Which is surprising because I feel like it’s really hard to mess up miso soup, no? Then my bento box came out. I could tell as soon as it came out that it was sub-par sushi. Which, is okay, I’m not expecting ‘Ozumo’s’ quality here. I tried the cali roll first. The crab meat was. warm? I could tell it wasn’t being refrigerated properly. Warm crab meat that’s supposed to be served cold is a big no no. Next, I tried the avo roll. Pretty. okay. No complaints. The salad was kinda weird. The dressing was way too watery and it ruined the salad. The chicken teriyaki was, again, just okay. The chicken was good, but the sauce tasted like it was cheap grocery store sauce. $ 15 for 2 rolls, chicken teriyaki, rice, salad and soup. Can’t complain. Actually, yeah I can. Probably won’t be coming back.

Terrible service. Boyfriend called in at 6:20pm for food to be delivered to his work(less than 1 mile away). At 8pm(2 hours later) food is still not here and they won’t offer a refund. He had to leave work without the food. We tried calling and all they said was ‘they are on their way. 15 more mins’ every time we called the restaurant. Not sure how they can run a business like this. Ridiculous! Foods probably not fresh anymore. Won’t be bringing my business here. Just called again. Asking how much longer they will take and they told us they cancelled the orders!!! And will be offering credit! Very frustrating!

The service here can be much better. You have to literally wave your arms around to try to get the waitress’s attention. They’re are 2 of them and the restaurant is small, so I don’t understand why it is so hard to get some service. The waitresses just stand at their booth looking down. A different customer had to get up off his seat, walk to sushi bar, and ask the guys behind making the sushi for some water. He stood there for a bit before a waitress came out with a pitcher of water. Instead of walking to his table and filling everyone’s glasses, she handed him the pitcher. Aside from the inattentive, waitress with attitude, the food was mediocre. I’ve gotten take out here once before and thought it wasn’t too bad, so I came back with a party of 5. If you’re going to do all you can eat; it seems more worth it to just come here and drink as much as you can and order food as things to munch on. The food menu is quite small. I won’t be coming here again. I personally did not like the service and the food isn’t good enough to make me want to come again. Honestly, even 2 stars feels a bit generous…

SaaaaaaywhaaaaaaaaAll you can eat and drink special for $ 30!!! Yes, plz. So is this the best sushi I’ve ever had? Nope. But it’s not the worst either. It’s a little tricky for me to do my gluten-free thang here, lots of tempura, but there are a few big rolls I can choose from and they’re happy to accommodate no sauces if they contain soy sauce. They also have tamari on hand which is a huge plus. I’ll usually get a can of Diet Coke and a large sake(or 3). Beer is also included in the drink options. The staff is also super cool. It can get busy so try to hit it on an off-hour. This is honestly a great place to go to when you’re feeling ravenous or need to lube up the vocal chords, and courage, before hitting The Mint next door.

Wandered in here after some time at the Mint next door. Agree with other reviewers that this is an average place not masquerading as anything different — our experience wasn’t significantly wonderful or terrible. I had a special vegetarian roll that was totally acceptable. Curious to try the all you can eat, but hesitant after reading some of these reviews. Eek!

I loved the sushi here. I’ve only ever ordered from the speciality section of the menu. The cherry blossom sushi(8 pieces for around $ 11) is delicious. Regular sushi(around 6 pieces) costs about $ 5, so it’s good if you’re on a budget. Inside, it’s very, very casual. A date took me here once and the atmosphere was flat. The décor is… well… um… absent? However, they have a door at the side of the room that links the restaurant to The Mint(a fun karaōke bar) next door. They have absolutely no problem with people going into The Mint to eat and will bring the food to you. If you want to eat at The Mint, you go into the restaurant, go to the cashier(at the back of the restaurant), and tell them you’d like to eat next door. You will be given a menu. You place your order and pay up front. They will ask you roughly where you’ll be sitting, then they’ll bring your food to you. I’ve always found the waitresses to be sweet and pleasant!

For such a foodie area, I was surprised this sushi spot didn’t live up to my expectations. Out on a date night, we ordered the«Dinner For Two A» for $ 59.00 which included edamame, 2 miso soup, seaweed salad(or house salad), gyoza, 10 pcs nigiri, shrimp tempura rainbow roll, dynamite roll, 2 spicy tuna handroll, and 2 pcs mochi ice cream(we got strawberry and green tea)! The edamame and miso soup were standard, seaweed salad had a unique flavor that I didn’t care for, and the sushi was so-so. It ended up being way too much food for the two of us. If I go back, I’ll definitely select my own rolls. Overall average sushi. The best part about this place is the live feed to Mint(karaōke bar next door). That was totally hilarious!

Friendly staff that was patient with us tourists, but the sushi is mediocre. Only came for the $ 29 all you can eat and drink sushi. **NOTE: The all you can eat menu is limited. No nigiri or sashimi, and it is very limited in rolls. As a tourist, we were looking for an AYCE sushi place(pretty much every sushi place has it where we come from). We stumbled across this place with a giant sign that advertises their AYCE option for $ 29 and a pleasant surprise when we find out it includes drinks as well. Even though SF is known for their fresh fishes and delicious food, Sushi Delight was one of the places where the sushi just tasted«all right.» On top of the limited options on AYCE, the rolls that I ordered seemed to have fish that weren’t fresh and overall the food left an unimpressionable memory. Sorry, but I would never come here again or recommend this place to anyone. I am definitely going to try a different place in SF — as I believe any sushi place might’ve been better than this!

First off let me say their regular sushi meals are good. Not great, but good. Last night I tried the«All you can eat(sushi) & drink deal» — $ 29.00 a person. The drinks are a choice of 3 different beers, soda and Hot Sake only. The sushi they offer are rolls only, no sashimi. You may only order 2 rolls at a time, per person and with each order, came with more and more RICE. Very little fish. We were sadly disappointed within 10 minutes of eating our meal. Not to mention the waitress barely made time for us. I have to guess part of the –skimping out– deal. If she ignores you most of the time, you barely have time to order while still hungry. Had we known this was a bad deal, we would have ordered off the menu and not wasted our hopes on what we thought would be a very good dinner. Instead we felt kind of ripped off. With SOMANYSUSHI places to choose from, I won’t be going back to Sushi Delight and it’s unfortunate in that they are roughly ¼ of a block from my house. My advice would be, just be fair, give you what offer and you’ll draw in customers. Cheat people or try to hide the deal with so much rice, ii will make you sick, it’s simply bad customer service.

This restaurant is only a block from my house but I never once thought of eating there as the space seemed small and uninviting. But then I saw a banner for all you can eat AND drink sushi and alcohol for $ 29 and my interest was instantly piqued. So my partner and I tried it one night, preparing to feast, which we definitely did. The space is nothing to write home about and the place smelled slightly of urine, although after 5 minutes my nose adjusted and I didn’t smell it anymore. I’m sure it wasn’t urine, but probably the cleaning chemicals in the rug. Still, not a selling point if you’re sensitive to smells. The sushi was just ok. The specialties rolls are the best, but the maki was so-so. The texture of the rice was rubbery which seemed odd to me. You can order anything you want from the regular menu, which was great, although you can only order two things at a time to cut down on possible waste(understandable). They had all the most popular Japanese beers, served just slightly less cold than they should be, but being the boozers we are, we plugged through about 4 large beers and a few sakes. The restaurant is located next to The Mint karaōke bar and they even have a TV screen dedicated to showing off the aspiring artists drunkenly belting out Journey songs next door. Actually pretty entertaining to be honest – I can’t believe how wasted people can be at 6 in the evening! So we left the restaurant practically comatose feeling we definitely got our money’s worth and then some. One strange thing happened afterwards though: both my partner and I had to pee almost every half hour after the meal and then got up at least 5 times during the night. I can’t imagine what could have been a diuretic in sushi, but something really got to us. Just thought I’d mention it in case it’s happened to anyone else. It was really bizarre! Anyways, I’m going to discount the peeing issues and may try it again seeing it is a value proposition. Worth giving a shot, but don’t expect anything exceptional.

Simple, inexpensive sushi hole-in-the-wall spot! Their sushi rolls fulfilled my craving for sushi and their hamachi kama was smooth and delicious. One note, however, is that they forgot my wasabi when serving the sushi dishes up. It’s forgiven. They have this slightly random and entertaining TV screen that displays the karaōke scene from next door. Whoever is karaoking next door at this bar named Mint, is displayed on this TV screen. I wonder if they know that they are being showcased. It was quite a show. Other than that, their sushi was doable.
