Absolutely amazing catering and customer service! We needed to a reliable caterer with a good reputation to cater for our school event of ~100 guests. Our organization had used Sun Sang before and I can say it is a huge reason why students keep coming back to our events! They are always on time to deliver(early, even) and all the food is steaming hot when it arrives(which is incredible seeing as to how it comes all the way from the opposite side of the city. You can request for trays or individually boxed meals. We went with the boxed meals this time and the students loved it! The prices are extremely reasonable for the huge portions of food they prepare for you — definitely a place to order from if you’re on a tight budget! They were even nice enough to give us extra boxes :) WHAT A DEAL! I cannot emphasize how delicious the food is as well. The crispy chicken was everyone’s favorite. Definitely a must-try! I assure you that we will keep coming back to Sun Sang for our catering because we always have great turnout and incredible food with their service!

If you want your chicken feet with a side of beef tongue beef tendon, you’ve come to the right place my friend. This is not a store for the faint hearted, which is why I like it. Their quail is delicious, and also the chicken dummette and roast duck. Everything else is a hit and miss, so you just need to be adventurous and try things out. The only thing that bugs me is that people behind the counter always look at me like«what are you doing here?», and the prices aren’t displayed that well.

This is my family’s go-to place for quality bbq/roast pork and of course their popular jalapeño fried chicken drumettes! It’s not really that spicy but it has a great jalapeño taste to it and it’s fried Chinese style so don’t expect something like Popeye’s because it’s totally different but great in it’s own way. They sell the fried chicken by weight so you can order a small, medium or large box of it and they’ll stuff it full for you. Definitely a great buy and something to try if you’re in the area [:

The absolute best fried chicken drumettes in the bay! It is ridiculous how consistently great it is. It’s always just lightly battered and perfectly crispy. And to top it off, it’s always super juicy. I love their drumettes and chow mein so much, I had them cater last time. The food came piping hot and they were very punctual! Extremely satisfied, would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Great meat market! I also love how this place doubles as a quick take-out joint. I ordered the roast pork over rice, and I was not disappointed-especially considering how low the price was! Even though they were quite busy, the butcher who took my order was very good-humored and accommodating.

Best chicken drumettes in the city… There is another Sun Sang Market at 1041 Stockton two blocks away on the same side of the street a.k.a. New Golden Daisy… Whenever I’m in the city, these places are where I get my fried drumettes fix satisfied…

This place has the BEST chicken drumettes EVER! It’s seasoned perfectly throughout with just the right amount onioy/garlicy goodness and is very lightly battered before it’s fried which makes it perfectly crispy without feeling overly greasy like the stuff you get elsewhere. I always here for get togethers at my house. The chicken drumettes are perfect for parties. I always run out, no matter how big of a platter I get! We also love the chow mein. And the roast duck is AWESOME! Perfect place to have food catered for a party and I never miss this place when I’m in Chinatown. Love it!

This is the only place that sells marinated beef tongue. They don’t always have it and it runs out fast when they do… so if you see it, get it. It’s about $ 4.50/pound? and it weights an average of 3 pounds but it’s worth every penny. Last time I got one when my family got together and everyone enjoyed munching on it — it’s a great snack to go with a cold beer. Other deli items we buy from here regularly: quail for less than $ 2/each, another great snack to go with beer. Beef shank and tendon. They make their own fish ball and fried — pretty good but don’t think it’s good enough at $ 5/pound. BBQ items not bad. They have these small soy sauced chickens, bigger than a game hen — 2/$ 5 or $ 3 each — it’s tasty! I also tried my first pig’s cheek here — it’s like pig’s ear but not quite as crunchy. Fresh meat here are more expensive than other places by $ 0.10-$ 0.20/pound. This is one of the few places that sell a selection of beef and I think they have the freshest so if I want beef, I come here.

Was in need of some ingredients to make some last minute sweet rice cake composition, I hurriedly ran in while they were closing out to grab the sweet potato and pumpkin. The store keeper and staff were ever so friendly to try to find taro for me but unfortunately, they had stored the remaining produce… cheap place for groceries and they were the last ones to close on the Stockton stretch.
