Horrible experience. Went back from a long bike trip with friends. The old man rushed us to order our food and he a really thick accent so I can’t understand anything he’s saying, so it was really slow during the time he was making our sandwich. He yelled at me and said get out if you don’t bahahaha because I step outside to ask my friend what type of cheese he wants. Anyways, don’t come here because these people suck, the sandwich was so badly made and when I ask for extra mustard the man didn’t even put any extra mustard. Go to the subway across the street, Way better.

This subway was the grossest subway I have ever been in. I almost threw all my food away as soon as I got it because I felt that I might get sick if I ate it. The older man making my food was wearing gloves but touching everything! I watched him make the 3 sandwiches in front of me, drink out of his glass and shoving garbage down the cutting board area with them on and still just kept making more sandwiches. Also his wife came to help when it got busy and that was an even bigger nightmare. Their ice machine must have been broken because she took my cup and filled it with ice WITHHERBAREHANDS from a bucket of ice under the soda machine. It was so gross and I was in shock! Do not eat here!

Came today during my lunch break and was completely disappointed. It was probably the worst Subway sandwhich I have ever had. The bread was very, very dry and obviously had gone stale. The lady was also very skimpy on all the veggies, so I mostly just tasted stale bread. I will not be coming back to this location even though my office is right around the corner. Complete waste of money today.

Nice small store in anchorage square. Went here at 9:30 am Sunday for breakfast. Two foot long egg bacon and cheese for $ 12.50! Can’t beat it near fishermans wharf.

The breakfast steak and pepper jack on sourdough was good and the least expensive breakfast we had in the city.

Efficient, generous, and open before 10! Had a difficult time hearing their whispering staff though

I was here on a busy weekend, but called ahead to place my order of 11 sandwiches. The manager told me he couldn’t accommodate my large order over the phone, but I could come in and they’d serve me then. It wasn’t what I wanted to do, but it was what it was. So I arrived at 9:00am like he said and there were 3 people there who did preorder and still hadn’t gotten their sandwiches. They were also out of their Italian bread(at 9:00!!!) Anyway, it took an hour to get my 11 sandwiches because they were still working on the even larger preorders even though the store had been opened since 7:30am. It was frustrating that they didn’t have better organizational skills. They did finally make ours and the gal was pleasant and accommodating. I felt sorry for the workers, but frustrated at the management.

*****if you’re in the mood for a sandwich spend your money at the bakery around the corner on Leavenworth — better food and better service***** The food is average. Just what you would expect from a Subway. I have never been unhappy with my sandwich. I haven’t been blown away either. The service on the other hand is absolutely awful!!! No one is friendly or smiles or even greats you. The most you will get is «NEXTINLINE». One woman in particular is very rude. I always walk out feeling frustrated and upset that I gave them my money. Unfortunately they have a great location in the heart of fisherman’s wharf and they are busy everyday so they have no incentive to change or improve service. I gave them my money for the last time today! From now on I’ll eat elsewhere.

right across the street from work i’ve become an addict and go here on all my breaks. footlong turkey no cheese on italian herbs and cheese bread with lettuce, mayo, mustard and a few onions equals love. the staff is as sweet as can be. there chip selection can be lame at times. all in all i adore them and will continue to eat here as long as im stuck on the wharf :)

Subway’s are subways. This one has only been disappointments. I think I’ve been here twice and both times were more difficult than they really should have been. The staff was different both times, but they all had that same lovely habit of somehow messing up big details. One time it was sandwich related… the other time it was credit card related. If you really want subway, and this is the only one you can make it too, just be careful and double check your sandwich and receipt haha.

Way better than the Subway a couple blocks away on Mason Street, where they just slop your sandwich together. This one actually has employees who can put together an edible sandwich. But this Subway’s also a really tiny, hole-in-the-wall. Better for take-out, than humoring the depressing idea of eating there.

I didn’t like the way the girl made my sandwich! You’re suppose to put the mustard on first, not slop it on over the ingredients.

Just what you would expect. Some people pan the Fisherman’s Wharf area, calling it a «tourist trap,» which implies it’s overpriced. But in the middle of it all, right at the end of the F streetcar line, there’s a cluster of budget hotels and cheap eats. Like Walgreens, McDonald’s, and Subway. This store has cleaned up its act since last summer, and I felt OK eating here today. The 6″ sub of the day, toasted, with a small soda, cost $ 4.50, just like everywhere else. They had a fan turned up high, trying to clear out a burnt meat smell, and the clerks were properly following the gloves-on-for-food, gloves-off-for-cash-register protocol. If you want something a little more upscale, try one of the pizza places, Hooters, or In-N-Out Burger nearby.
