This is my favorite location because they don’t skimp on ingredients and they always make the best sandwiches. Thanks go out to the staff working the afternoon shift!

Simply put, how do mess up a salad!!! An 8 dollar salad!!! The guy gave up half way through making it. I asked to try the vinaigrette dressing and instead of listening to me he poured it on my salad. Then threw the two patties on the salad. One patty chopped up and one not. Cool thanks.

You can’t wash your hands at SUBWAY, what the hell! Anyways the food sucked as usual, rather go to TOGO’s

One of the worst subways. nobody greets you. The women working in the morning regularly has to be corrected at least twice, no other subway have I had this issue. I will likely not be back. This location is very sub par to other locations

For horrible service nobody greets you, everyone of the employees looks bothered or as if they have something better to do. The manager was not very warm and friendly either not to mention they have a hiring sign out front, so I turned in my resume and gave to the manager, I think he took it and threw it away because he didn’t say anything afterwards I had to tell him thank you for taking my resume and still no «will give you a call or your welcome». I know I’m more then qualified to take any position offered to me so what is the problem here?

This is one of the cleaner and more trusted Subways in the FiDi. The food is always fresh and the staff is pretty nice unless you order a salad; then they give you really dirty looks. Disappointed that the ice machine was broken all week. It’s summer time and it’s been super hot. You would think ice would be a high priority here. Saw lots of disappointed construction workers come in here this week and when they were told no ice and they would have to pay to upgrade to a bottled drink I saw a lot of upset faces. I cringed every time the cashier told someone they had to pay extra. You would think that as a goodwill gesture they would offer a courtesy and not make you pay extra for a bottled drink when they are the ones who have a broken ice machine. I only give 3 stars cause the food is fresh and the tables are always clean.

Nice and clean Subway but they don’t have a bathroom! My 8 yr old had to use it really bad so the lady suggested I got to Starbucks. I asked her if that is where she went and she didn’t answer. Starbucks should charge them for sending their customers to use their facilities.

SO happy to have this place in the area. At the weekend there’s pretty much nothing else open in the area. It’s always clean and the salad looks fresh. Just one issue: the soda in the machine is always flat.

I usually worry about waiting on line for too long when I get lunch, but even when there are a lot of people on line here, the workers are very efficient so I am able to quickly get my sandwich! :)

Tiffany Watt, at subway on Fremont… no nonsense, super fast but really attentive. Great attitude. She’s pretty much overqualified for this job!

People working in here are awesome. I don’t care as they don’t have public/customer restroom. But cookies are fresh, sandwiches are fresh as veggies. I’m a veggie.

Ducked in here to escape windy San Francisco. Apparently, no bathroom though. Don’t know about food quality, didn’t order anything. But they were nice enough to let us sit for a while.

Since I work across the street at the Orrick Building, this Subway is the closest and is one that I prefer because it is open til 9pm and on Saturdays(a day which I unfortunately have to work) which is unusual for this part of the Financial District. The service is adequate and it’s still one of the cheapest options around. Not the greatest of options, but it suffices for those quick lunch meals. I’m sure there are a lot of quality options in terms of sandwiches, like the Toaster Oven, but you get what you pay for here.

I ordered a foot long veggie delite — its on the $ 5 foot long menu for tv and online. THEYCHARGEDME $ 5.50FORVEGGIESANDCHEESE. Give me a F#$%*#$% break. Seriously I know its based on participating franchises but really come on!!! Not sure if I can give this franchise my money for awhile.

Everything I could hope for and expect from a Subway. The ingredients taste fairly fresh, the bread is soft, and the produce looks pretty good, although the tomatoes are unripe and the avocado comes out of a plastic tub. So yeah, basically it’s Subway. The staff seem friendly and helpful enough, doing a passable job to hide their boredom. They made my sandwich to order, and put on the ingredients correctly as I requested them. I love that Subway corporate finally succumbed to the Internet outcry to tesselate the cheese: I paid $ 8.05 for a foot-long turkey and cheese sandwich with avocado, no drink, no cookie, no chips. This seems a little expensive, but cheap lunch is hard to come by in downtown SF. Personally, I think Café Venue right next door has much more interesting sandwiches, with better bread and better ingredients. That said, I also like options, and Subway is open late, so I’m happy to see Subway here

While another Subway location in downtown San Francisco is about as remarkable as another Starbucks or Lee’s Deli(in other words, not so much), it is encouraging to have another one open up in the Rincon Hill neighborhood of the South of Market District that actually opens up on the weekends. The current hours(subject to change, of course) are 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday. The food is what you would expect … consistent, good value sandwiches with chips, cookies, and some other options. The location has a good amount of seating … about as much as the location on 2nd Street near Natoma. Brand new location with padded seats … nice! I hope my neighbors and passers-by give this new location enough business to justify them opening up on weekends while we await the construction phase of this neighborhood to progress with Transbay and may more new residential mid-rise and high-rise buildings set to get built over the next 5 – 10 years.
