I had a 90 minute massage from Mike and I cannot recommend him enough. He is professional, friendly and has possibly the strongest hands of anyone I know! He’s an expert in his field and left me feeling very calm and relaxed. My back was in particularly bad shape and he took the time to work on my problem areas and to inform me exactly what he was doing and why. I will be going back!

Michael is master healer, true to the name of his beautiful spa that is located in Mission/​Potrero.
Facial: Gentle but thorough extractions & a blend of several different skincare lines (SkinCeuticals & Lather). What I really enjoy about Michael’s work is that he’s not afraid to be creative and work outside of protocols to achieve maximum results/​relaxation.
Massage: His touch and pressure is truly one of the most intuitive that I’ve experienced in my eight year career as a professional in the spa industry. One of, if not the best! Calm energy. Delightful conversationalist.
Steffan Spa is at the top of my favorite havens in SF.

This is the best massage I have ever had, very clean place very personable, Michael listens and understand your needs. I went in with knee and sciatica pain and walked out with no pain, I am looking forward to him make my pain go away forever. Mike is a master healer. I already made my next appointment woohooo!
