A homeless guy asked for water and the asian lady barista(i think she’s one of the manager or supervisor) said we dont have water! And gave a mean look… And what a heartless barista! Just for a water!!! His not asking for a free expensive starbucks coffee! Have a heart! And be human! Visit time:6:40 i ordered coffee and sandwich. 11÷24÷15

This was the worst Starbucks experience I’ve ever had. I used to be a partner, was one for 5 years, so I know how it goes. they were busy, I get it. BUT… no smiles and no thank yous. I bought a canned refresher and requested a venti cup of ice a few times from the cashier during my transaction. She wouldn’t write it down. The gal at the bar was swamped. I knew I’d never get my ice. I asked the barista at the bar for the ice and I was flat out ignored.(Side note: from a former partner; she was making and doing everything wrong.) I finally got the attention of another guy to get me my fucking ice — and he was a total bitch. I could tell he thought I hadn’t bought anything. Then he gave me a tall ice with no lid. I requested a lid and he said super sarcastically«is there anything else I can get you!?» Fuck you.

Conveniently located but the staff is rude for no reason. There were also many chairs and stools missing and they showed no interest at all as to provide any, so although the shop wasn’t full I couldn’t seat…

I’ve never been much of a Starbucks fan(I know, right? How un-American?) but this Starbucks is on the bottom floor of the hotel Nikko so it gave us a better option than having to drink hotel room coffee. Going here three days in a row may have giiven né more appreciation for Starbucks.

Small narrow place where it can be hard if not impossible to find a seat, and yet I go there every time I’m going to see a show at the Golden Gate or Orpheum theaters. They always give me a good cup of coffee, they’ve never gotten my order wrong, their pastries have never been stale, and at least half of the staff I’ve run into have been friendly. The biggest problem with this site is the facility itself. Very narrow where the order line is, crowded where the pickup counter is, and no outside seating at all. I would be surprised if there were more than 12 chairs in the entire place, and most of those are along the window so it’s hard to talk to folks. In this part of town it’s not like you can find seating, and what setting there is usually used up by transients(I generally don’t have a problem with this, it’s just the neighborhood).

I love that this starbucks is about 2 blocks from where I work. I am definitely a caffeine addict. If it’s not coffee, it’s tea. On a hot day, it’s a frap… so not healthy but the staff here are always so friendly despite the huge rush of people during peak hours. if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax… you might wanna come at odd hours. the only thing is that i wished that my drinks were consistent… but i guess that wont ever be the case. but at least when i ask for light ice… for it to be light iced…

I always stopped here before going to work. & every time: Bad service. Id go i the one next block in the hilton hotel lobby but the drinks are more expensive. i was waiting in line for a while and when i was next the cashier says to her coworker, brb im gonna use the bathroom. Didnt even say excuse me to me and let me know, she just left the counter like really? And then same visit the barista who made my drink(rather large man with some what shaved beard) made my drink. I usually open the cup n add sugar & so i did. i took off the lid i seen hair(find the picture in the photos) It looked like it came from the baristas chin/beard or something! Nasty!

no star for forgetting my drink — Caffe Latte and when i asked after 15 minutes, one of the staff acted like i didn’t even order and i had to tell him to go and talk to his staff… and then comes the shitty caffe latte that was ordered to say the least. was here on 7⁄17 between 10 am and 10.15 am with shitty stores like this… Starbucks stock price isn’t going up anytime soon…

Warning this is a BIASED review. I frequent starbucks in Oakland and Alameda for their WiFi. I have gotten use to warm, large, cozy spaces. Well some starbucks are small but still have cushy chairs for lounges. Oh yea and clean bathrooms. This location is tiny, cold, packed, with uncomfratbale cahirs and tables. Most of the plugs have been covered to discourage usage. Sooo I end up standing over people hogging the plugs charging their i phones and ipads, or doing business/studying on the WiFi. I have not used the bathroom cause I have witnessed people being turned away as in their is no bathroom its for employees onlyyet seeing others being let in. And I know what mentally unstable, homeless, and/or drug addicts look like this ain’t them being turned away. Last week was the kicker. Me and this guy and his dog are waiting for a table to opne up so we can Jack in to the Wi Fi and thats how I found out this Starbusks covered a portion of its available plugs. I noticed a female employee glaring at him and his dog when she passed by. I asked him if the dog was a service dog cause he wasn’t wearing it Service vest. He said it is. Ok not my battle. Well 30 minutes later of light conversation a table opened up. We sat down and got a cup of water for his dog along with a purchase.(Yes I also purchase a drink). Big dog takes a drink and knocks the cup over and spills copious amounts of water under the table. I had to lift up my plug so not to have it ruin. I told the guy he should ask for a mop me grumbles that it won’t happen. Really? I think. He was right. The same female employee who glared at him earlier comes to our table and tosses down a bunch of paper towels, «You will have to clean this up sir,» her voice was brightly lit with frost. I am watching this unfold amazed paper towels were clearly not going to be enough and it would make it worse! He asked for a mop, «No sir the mop is for employees. Would you like more paper towels?» WTF!!! So he is pissed luckily he phone rings so he takes the call instead of interacting with, «Sir? Sir? Do you need more paper towels? No?» she walks off. He uses the paper towels to no avail. He left and now I am left with a watery mess holding my feet up and keeping my cord off the floor. Now I feel like I am a problem. Gee if I ask for assistance will they give me paper towels. I contemplating leaving and wondering what would it take to have someone mop it up. 20 minutes a young latino comes over and mops up the water. Finally. Gratefully. Sooooo Insane. Everybody who works here is not a bitch and an ass. And I get it working in that location with the crazies, druggies, homeless, needy, tourist, and business people can be overwhelming. Sidenote: I use the restroom in the hotel Nikko. Lovely experience. I enjoy it. Its so fancy.lol.

This is an adequate Starbucks location for those who need their fix, but it’s fairly small and crowded with lots of slightly crazy homeless folks lingering around. If you are staying at the Hotel Nikko it is immensely convenient with direct access from the hotel.

Another super-busy SBUX inside Hotel Nikko(entrances on O’Farrell and the Hotel). The staff is adequate. The SBUX drinks are the same like elsewhere. The seating is a combo of window seating, table seating in the back that’s kinda gloomy(you’ll know when you sit there), and outdoor seating. There can be quite a few krazies lounging around this location, particularly the outdoor seating; so if I just made a purchase here, I usually scram.

Longish lines. Everybody ordering some sort of ridiculous drink that takes extra prep. Coffee tastes stronger out West than it does in the East, or maybe I’ve gone a little mad. It’s extra«Starbucky.» So order the blond if you smack your tongue and get shivers from SB’s bitter brew. Good food. Bananas always ripe. Prepared food always… prepared.

This location is mostly super busy because its proximity to major hotels and Union Square. However, I love it because it is the only Starbucks around Union Square with outdoor seating. My husband and I have been getting coffee here every morning for the last year. The staff knows our names and our drinks, they are friendly, helpful, caring, and always have a smile on their face. The best part — My husband and I just had our fist baby four months ago. Not only did the staff get us a baby gift, but they take genuine interest in our baby and his accomplishments. Every one knows his name, smiles and him, and they ask how he is doing without fail. You may wait in line longer at this location, but its worth it! My husband and I are getting ready to move to a part of the city that is not within walking distance of this Starbucks and I am going to miss seeing those familiar faces every morning.

Starbucks is not my favourite brand of coffee by far, but every now and then I get a craving for something super sugary and«authentic» This place just got a pretty intense overhaul, referring to the venue itself and the employees. I ordered a grande caramel macchiato with whole milk, and it came out with whipped cream. I asked for the whipped cream to be taken off and the bariista behind the counter snapped at me really loudly. At that point, I asked for my money back. I won’t come here ever again as the new staff here seems to think they’re oh so high above their clientele.

I am a particular fan of this Starbucks because it has a bright airy feeling and nice places to sit even though it is just a stone’s throw from crazy crowded Starbucks on Powell. almost no retail though.

Can’t help that I get a tad maudlin when it comes to cafes. for in cafes, I have imbibed some delicious tasties, have had some great chats, fun discussions, bonding memories, and some me time with my favorite inaminates: books. Great Starbucks that has wonderful outside seating available… downstairs from Hotel Nikko… away from busy Powell and right on the corner of Cyril Magnin It was this location that I chose to use my free Sept. coupon toward a quad skinny pumpkin latte… my first time trying one, after all the gapes I received from others who cannot believe I have never tried theirs(or any other) before. I loved the space; my super adroit Asian baristas whipped up a tasty treat for me. It was quite the YUM on yummy. Excellent

I swore I wrote a review of this Starbucks but I guess not. My second favorite starbucks because it has a password protect bathroom and it is attached to a nice hotel which makes it nice by default. Service here is fast. Plenty of seating inside and out.
