I’ve been going to this Starbucks for years and lately I’ve been taking advantage of their new service where you can order online. I find this service very convenient, because this particular Starbucks has very long lines in the morning and usually my order is ready by the time I arrive. This morning it wasn’t(which is fine), so I stepped aside to wait for my name to be called. I thought my name had been called, so I went to the counter to ask and the Starbucks employee who has seen me in this store for years was extremely rude to me snd thought I was rushing her which I was not. I thought I heard my name called, but that Starbucks is so crowded and noisy, you can’t tell. I am done with this Starbucks. They shouldn’t offer a service which they cannot provide with the resources and volume they have at this store. I will be getting my coffee in the future on the other end of my commute in the South Bay where they still understand the concept of customer service.

Near to my office is the only reason to go here … Really coffee is always not tasty … I feel like drinking hot water …

There are always 2 lines practically out the door here. They need to hire more staff, no wonder the majority of the workers here are surly. This is the only location in the entire Starbucks Universe that continues to charge me an extra 60 cents for Carmel in a Salted CARMEL Hot Chocolate. Ridic. Unfortunate, since this one is the closest to my work, but it’s fine, there are 3 others locations close enough to walk to that understand common sense and not charge twice for the same Carmel. 1 star for the one girl there who’s pleasant.

The baristas are nice enough, but this is typically one of the slowest Starbucks in FiDi. Cashiering operations are mysteriously slow, and the place gets crowded and backed up. Consider going to one of the other Starbucks nearby if you’re in a hurry. I’ve also gone during off-peak hours, and have seen upwards of 5 baristas behind the counter with no one taking orders. I assumed it was some kind of computer or restocking problem, but it would’ve been nice if one of the many baristas behind the counter told the people in line what was going on.

Always busy. Very close to my office so I’m here daily(sometimes twice in one day) I was not a fan of this Starbucks at first. The coffee tasted burnt every time I ordered it the first 2 – 3 weeks. It’s better now and after a while this store grew on me. Everyone is super nice and efficient. A few of the staff recognize me and get my drink going so it’s ready when I pay.

I’ve never understood what the fuss is about with Starbucks. The coffee is okay but not more. This Starbucks had good service, a bit rude though but hey, I wasn’t really the most outgoing customer either. :)

Hot chocolate & breakfast sandwich were ok. Customer service blah. Seats about 10 people. Newly remodeled. Kind of dark inside.

I thought maybe the employees here were rude because it’s busy in the morning. As it turns out, they’re rude(especially Tatyanna(sp?)) all the time for no reason. Fuck this location, seriously.

I have been going to this Starbucks for the last year since starting work across the street and I’m a fan. Yes, it is a small location in a high traffic area — so if you’re going to stand at the register asking idiotic questions and noodling around, don’t. On any given day there’s most likely a line of at least 10 really annoyed FiDi folks in suits tapping their feet behind you, so perhaps consider doing your noodling elsewhere. That being considered, Greg runs a tight ship. Despite always being packed and dealing with boatloads of cranky, morning rush hour customers, his team pumps out drinks pretty efficiently. He never fails to greet me by name when I walk in and knows my drink order by heart. Easily my favorite barista.

This Starbucks is great! I work in fidi and find working with Greg and his team to be fabulous. We are able to order catering to go and pick it up at the requested time.

If I could give 0 starts to this Starbucks I would, I usually get breakfast there and had been noticing my bill said«get a free drink text your email to 22122» today I did it and the and then they told me to download the app in order to get it, I did and signed up and then they told me to get a reward card, they made me go there and line up for second time and when I was about to get my drink or thought I was about to they told me I needed to also register my card online, come on really? That’s not what it says everywhere. Besides that I used to go to that Starbucks at least twice at week because I work in the same building, worst Starbucks ever with the worst employees.

Omg. Worst Starbucks ever. 1. Batista didn’t care that I was the next person in line and that I was standing there waiting to order. She chatted on with her coworker. 2. She originally charged me for a grande coffee even though I had ordered tall. I corrected her and told her I only wanted a tall size(I’m not a huge coffee drinker so I can’t finish a grande one). She then charged me for the tall coffee, but forgot to take off $ 0.10 for bringing my own cup. No sorry or apology or anything. She just brushed me off. 3. My tall coffee was definitely less than 12oz. In my grande reusable cup, it looks like it’s only half full. So what did I pay $ 4 for!!! So disappointed.

This Starbucks is the worst I have visited. I work near there and occasionally am in a situation where I am there with coworkers. I DONOT visit on my own accord, since they manage to mess up my order every time I go. I have never received good customer service there. They have an attitude if I ask them to correct my order(and I don’t make a habit of this since I am even more afraid of what I will get next.) Their system is also very awkward. I never know where I am supposed to stand while I wait for my surprise(as in, the order that they give me, not the one I ordered.) They have two lines for payment, and a food line in between the payment lines, and then the drink line is all the way on the other side of the store It’s bizarre, no wonder they can’t get my order right. I think no matter what, this location will just not get any more of my business. They are terrible.

Inconsistent drink making followed by attitudes when correction request is made. For $ 5 a cup, I’ll go elsewhere…

this starbucks is on the ground floor of my office building, so naturally, i will stop in here a couple times a week. but not for their coffee, no sirree bob, i come for their hot breakfast sandwiches! ever since starbucks introduced their breakfast sandwiches a few years back, i have been stopping in more frequently b/c i love a hot breakfast with delicious ingredients! my two«go-to» choices are the turkey bacon sandwich and the spinach feta wrap. the former is an egg white with cheddar cheese, topped with reduced fat turkey bacon, sandwiched between a multigrain english muffin. this is probably my favourite b/c it has some meat, dairy and whole-grain carbohydrate and is very filling. the second is an egg white with crumbled feta cheese and tomatoes, wrapped up in a whole wheat wrap. this, too, is very tasty, but doesn’t seem to fill me up quite as much as the turkey bacon sandwich, probably b/c there is no meat component. both are $ 3.25, which is a fair price for a hot breakfast sandwich. customer service is a hit or miss, b/c some of the staff are newer, and less versed on the menu, while some are obviously veterans who know the acronyms and codes, and will process your order much faster. i’m still shocked at how many times my name gets misspelled on my order as i think i have one of the easiest names in the world. i typically come in during the mad morning rush, sometime between 8 – 10, so the lines are either out the door, or at least near the main doors, with a mix of people either waiting in line to order, or just waiting around for their orders to be made. even around 10am, it can still be crowded, so beware if you come anytime in the morning hours. i typically wait anywhere from 5 – 10 minutes to order my sandwich and have it handed to me. the afternoons tend to be quieter(as noticed whenever i walk by in the afternoon) and by late afternoon, they close their doors since everyone who works in the area is gone for the day. this is a really small starbucks, with limited seating, and even more limited standing room. however, it is conveniently located right above the embarcadero st bart/muni station, right by the beale street exit stairwell.

I’ll make it clear now, i come to this location because of its proximity to my place of business. The layout is all wrong, there are people moving this way and that, standing in the paid line, people shuffling to get to the milk/sugar stand, its a mess! The lines are long yes, but sometimes… just sometimes I’ll get here ahead of the rush and it is GLORIOUS! I have no issues with the baristas/baristos and my drink is almost always to my liking, its a no-brainer since its just coffee and steamed soy. They all pretty much know my drink– so again, its hard to switch up when i have my free one. I have to change it up every once in a while to keep them on their toes its a fun little game.

I have a new rule, no waiting in line for coffee in the morning. As much as I’d love a cup of coffee before work, the lines here are insane. Which is odd because there are 2 other Starbucks, a Peet’s and a Tully’s within a block of this location. And well… I’m usually running late, I’m Miss Snooze Button in the morning. ‘Sides that, lines are not my thing — I’m impatient and time stands still while waiting. I did pop in here after work recently and purchased a Gingerbread Latte. It was just okay. The flavor sunk to the bottom, so the last few sips were like licking the icing off of a Gingerbread house. Pretty sure that I would prefer that over a beverage that was more«fluff» than the good stuff. I’ll stick to my Straight Iced Coffee when I come back, because it’s inevitable — I’ll want some coffee and they have it.
