Food: Good. Coffee: Good. Service: Great Pricing: Fair One complaint: Being forced to consume my purchases sitting on the sidewalk because the entire man-bun toting population of San Francisco want to write plays and Google soy bean recipes on their laptops. Literally taking up every single seat in this facility. It’s lucky my partner and I are not too fussy and the sidewalk has more personality than most of the people inside. Three stars for the service and the food. Would be a 5, except you need to be able to seat your customers.

Like this Starbucks. Music location service outside seats cleanness The only thing I didn’t like is the lighting. But it’s a late afternoon so can’t really blame them for that. Love this place.

Nothing that really distinguishes this Starbucks amongst others, but this is what I noticed: — It’s bigger than other Starbucks in San Francisco — It has a bathroom(for customer use) unlike other Starbucks in San Francisco Other than that, I haven’t experienced any bad service to complain about. The staff seems very nice and always gets my drink right.

This morning the manager(Michael) at this amazing Starbucks location helped me with a very special drink order. Not only is this a great location, but it has INCREDIBLE kind and caring people working there too. Partners who go out of their way to help brighten the day of others for no gain themselves. Everyone should take time to visit this incredible location and thank the great people who make his store unique.

Awful coffee. I’ve gone several times now for a DRIP — most simple order right? Wrong. The coffee is watered down and burned. If you just want a quality cup of coffee do yourself a favor and walk across the street to Illy or New Tree.

This Starbucks is one of the larger ones in the area. They have indoor and outdoor seating with a decent amount of table space. The service is usually pretty good in the morning and average during the rest of the day. The music can be a bit loud if you’re trying to work or have a conversation but no real complaints other than that.

SERVICEHERESUCKS They ALWAYS seem to get my order wrong. I order a simple breakfast sandwich and they try to get it started before i reach the register. When i do reach the register and pay they apparently do not communicate well with each other and make two sandwiches for me. Not really complaining about having two but they didn’t give me the second one… instead they just threw it away. I wasn’t expecting two, its just an observation of really bad communication among coworkers. another time they completely gave me a whole different order. I had to give it back and correct them on which sandwich i ordered. Again, i was rung up for the correct breakfast sandwich but given the wrong one. Not to mention… my coworkers experience the same problems at this particular starbucks. I would rate their coffee but in general I don’t believe Starbucks is quality coffee. You are in the city, the financial district. There are PLENTY of other coffee places to go to to get quality brewed coffee.

While on a quick business trip in SF, I stopped into this location by whim, and was out within 5 minutes tops(with a daunting massive line). Coming from LA, where the pace is slower, this location basically made me feel like I was in New York. Super efficient, friendly employees, VERY clean and organized. What else do you want? This store operates like a well orchestrated ballet. Minus the slippers.

I can’t complain about this place, they always treat me so well! I’ve been working in the city for 1+yrs and I never had such great service at any Starbucks other than this place. It may be force of habit, but these guys remember my name and order everytime and sometimes make fun of me when I change it up on them(I gotta keep things alive). It makes me smile when they dont yell out my name/order and just say my name and hand me my drink. *thumbs up guys!

To me a standard Starbucks is usually 4 stars since I enjoy their products, the gold card perks, and the consistency across locations. This Starbucks earns the extra star for very speedy and sweet customer service. I ordered a venti iced tea and the barista asked if it was okay to give me a domed lid since they were out of flat lids. Of course, this would not have been a problem at all, but before I could even say so he was like«Nevermind, I’ll just upgrade you to the trenta for the same price since we have those lids.» It is probably no skin off of Starbucks’ back to give me six extra ounces of tea, but I really appreciate the thought. For a busy location, it’s nice to see them treat customers so well.

New manager new crew equals bad coffee. Been coming to the 255 California location for the past 8 years and it’s been solid until a few months ago. Now my clover coffee tastes like water.

This place always has a long line but the fact that I usually get a clover coffee(for my boss) and a small pastry… They make the coffee in a separate area opposite of the busy zone. I’m usually in and out. Try their black and white cake, it’s delicious!

Hi fellow Unilocalers: I just wanted to write and give some feedback to the management at the Starbucks at 295 California Street. I work across the street, and had a downright bad day. I’m talking get-talked-to-by-your-boss-for-no-good-reason bad day. One of those days where the bad joo-joo has just multiplied until you truly don’t think it could get any worse. Then, you stop in to your local, multi-national, fair-trade and slightly overpriced coffee shop. Known for efficiency, you assume you’ll just pay, grab your java, and go. But no, not this Starbucks. I ventured into this little haven of happiness surrounded by the FiDi types(you know, the bankers you see in Wolf of Wall Street, ’nuff said) and low and behold, a nice barista named Rohni(forgive the spelling) decides to comp my drink. Why? Because she said I looked like I had a bad day. That, my fellow Unilocalers, is customer service. And the reason I spent the time writing this review. Thank you, Rohni. It was the one bright spot in my otherwise crappy day.

Perhaps the baristas were encouraged to remember their loyal and frequent customers by their name and order but it makes new and not as frequent customers feel like chopped liver. They constantly greet clients by name, and yes, it may seemed like you guys really know your big customers but don’t do it to the point where you completely ignore me when I’m also a paying customer.
