Delicious and beautiful! Intimate and classy atmosphere. We really enjoyed dinner and were pleased with the balance of flavors. The rock shrimp gnocchi had a phenomenal sauce with chilies. I wish we had bread to mop it up with. The dessert was a perfect finish– the warm vanilla sauce made the chocolate semifreddo melt like gelato. We left there full and satisfied, and will be back again.

Sorrel is amazing! Incredibly fresh locally sourced ingredients. Sign up for their email and follow them. They catered a function at equinox tonight. A perfectly prepared risotto, pork sliders, fresh arugula salad with pomegranate seeds. Met one of the partners, Brennan, who was very gracious. You can tell they are putting their hearts into the food. Can’t wait to dine with them again.

Absolutely incredible. I was truly blown away by my meal with this team! I’ve been to my fair share of «fancy» restaurants in the city, and Alex easily blew them out of the water. This is one of those meals where every bite is completely savored and you’re sad to have it end. Sam, who was in charge of the wine also did an excellent job pairing the food to compliment the meal perfectly. The whole team was friendly and very gracious. If they opened up their own restaurant they would succeed with flying colors. I honestly recommend to anyone.

INCREDIBLE!!! That was the most magical meal I have had in a long time — probably top 5 of my life. The lamb was so tender it melted in your mouth and matched perfectly with the puffed quinoa and other fun surprises that decorated it. The crab risotto blew my mind, the sauce Grenobloise was a delight, and I begged for seconds of the dessert. The entire staff was smiley, friendly, kind and very timely! Absolutely fantastic. Well done!!!

It is a pop-up, so it has the similar issues as other pop-ups, for example, long lag time between courses. However, the food and wine was very good. I hope Alex Hong, the chef, will open a his own restaurant soon.
