My sister brought me here for dinner. She was disappointed that they had removed several items from the menu and raised the prices. I thought it was a fun location(good for people watching), but the food was just okay; a novelty. Our waitress was sweet but would disappear for long periods of time, which makes ordering another slider or glass of wine difficult. The only reason I would return is for my sister; it’s a favorite of hers.

I almost passed this place by bc it was not crowded. That would have been a big mistake. shredded pork sliders with this awesome sliced peppers coleslaw topping. Friggin delicious. Not a full bar, which I thought was bad, but then had a fantastic white sangria. Cmon … Awesome meal.

Its tough to write this review… I have been going to sliderbar since it opened… always had great food there and loved it… never in my wildest dreams thought i would be writing this review. On Last Monday 10 Aug we went there around 5 pm… and some sangria and one dinner combo the big kahuna and hot chick slider with fries. We ate and paid for it. There was an error in the check which the server corrected. I needed to use a phone(had my phone stolen few ays before from another spot). As i was waiting to call I felt the need to use the restroom… decide to go to the restroom before. While I was in the restroom I suddenly felt sick and threw up twice in the sink. Came out and informed our server who was done with his shift and drinking a beer at the bar. Sitting next to him was the manager. I told her what I had eaten and asked her if the kitchen was clean. She promptly answered yes without even checking herself. Then she freaked out that I threw up in the sink… screams«Jesus Christ… you threw up in the sink’. Anyhow… next she(Sonia) goes on to make another mistake… i get she was nervous having a sick customer but felt like she wanted me to leave as i suddenly had become a liability. I was on the restaraunt phone calling AT&T for my lost phone and the manager Sonia unplugs the phone to disconnect it. What is wrong with people? I strongly do not recommend going back there… I will wait for the management /owner to read this… Im not one to create problems for no reason. Otherwise will share on Facebook next and maybe even call the FDA… 10÷14÷15 The Slider Bar has been closed by the health department but the same owners have re opened with a new name… same staff with a different menu… do not eat there !!! Someone call the FDA again !!

Sliderbar is one of those frustrating S.F. restaurants where the location and space is fantastic… and everything else is not. We came here for dinner, and it was empty. How can a restaurant on the corner of Noe and Market be empty? For a slider and beer place, the menu is slim. It was a completely different menu than what was on the website, which was disappointing. Our waiter had to be flagged down and seemed annoyed to be there. At one point he told us he hadn’t noticed us sitting there. Great. For dinner, we tried one of each slider offered, and found them to be bland and some of them were cold. The best one was the American Pride — which is a cheeseburger with bacon. It’s unfortunate that the winning mini burger at a slider joint is your standard burger that you can get anywhere else. The highlight was the truffle fries — crispy, delicious with a hint of truffle, just as they should be. Sliderbar already has the location and the idea. There is so much potential here! I hope that Sliderbar taps into it.

The concept is cool. I’d recommend two to three sliders per person and one order of fries is more than enough for two to three people to share. The Huevo Ranchero is good. The Truffle Burger is good but not a noticeable truffle flavor.

Popped in here for a quick bite while waiting for our late lunch reservation around the corner — yeah, we pre-gamed it at one restaurant while waiting for another, so what. The fries were light, crispy and delicious. Excellent sauces. Blood orange lemonade is a great idea, and though it’s very tart — duh — it was delicious and not overly sweet. The coffee was some of the worst I’ve ever had, but I guess that’s what we get for ordering coffee at a burger joint. I’ll definitely be back here for a full meal next time I’m in the area.

Came here during pride weekend! Staff was very friendly and theories of was great! If you’re not starving but need something short and filling TRYOUTTHISPLACE. Garlic fries are to die for and the pull pork slider omg what can I say. Beer section is limited but still yummy and affordable!

Get their lamb sliders! It’s tasty and their house secret sauce compliments well with it as well! They serve up brunch food too! Their aiolis are delicious, so it doesn’t matter which ones you choose. The Sriracha aioli gave the fries a bit of a kick! I like how the layout is quite open so you can enjoy the view of passerby cars and people.

If you are really craving sliders in San Francisco, go to Marengo on Union. Before we arrived, there was talk about how this place had recently been closed for the second time from the Department of Health. But we were hungry and they definitely could hold the 8 of us. They had a few taken tables, but for the most part was empty. I will say our waitress was worth 5 stars — she asked if we wanted to split the check early, had the pitchers on a separate check altogether, was polite, helpful, patient, and positive. She was the best part of the meal, although with my group I was the only one who noticed her. They do have a number of sliders on the menu, including beef, chicken, bison, veggie and pork patties. They have spicy, flavorful, and a bunch of other options so they definitely have something for everyone. I got the Big Kahuna(beef, bacon, swiss cheese, and pineapple), Truffle Bison(pretty explanatory), Bayou Chicken(spicy chicken). All were just ok. None of them were mind-blowing, but as we were all slightly intoxicated, the protein was nice to consume. Basically if you want a quick, casual meal with variety and an affordable price, come here. But I wouldn’t go out of your way for it. Also they have a decent beer and cider selection. Got a Crispin Blackberry Pear Cider. Really nice.

I come here around once every two weeks, mainly just for the parmesan truffle fries, but here’s my take on everything else. — The service is not great. Although I have seen the servers treat others well, they have never treated me with respect. Each time I walk in, no one ever bothers to glance my way, get me seated, greet me, etc. — nothing. They’re busy minding they’re own business. I have to stand in front of the cashier until they’re forced to look up at me. — The food is pricey. My favorite dish, the parmesan truffle fries, is a whopping 12 bucks. Add the tip and tax, and its way up to 15+. Its great if you can make it to the M-F happy hours 5−7pm when these are 5 dollars. But if you work late and can’t, well. — The food is pretty good. My friends and I have all been satisfied. I always get one Hot Chick and one Club Med — they’re my favorite. The Club Med’s lamb has a very distinct lamb taste, for those who like lamb. Lastly, THEFRIES. Best truffle fries I’ve ever tasted, and best truffle aioli sauce. I will also go back for these fries. Overall, I’d say its not a bad place to try out!

The sliders here come in great variety and are pretty good, but the place is way too expensive($ 6 per slider, $ 12 for fries) for the value you’re getting in return. The only reasonably priced item i’d say are the salads, which are still a little up there. Service was alright, seating is okay, decent overall.

Tucked away in the Castro District, the Slider Bar is a nice little burger joint. I spotted this place while taking the bus in and I was instantly craving some sliders. Upon walking in, I was seated right away. There were about six other people in this restaurant during the time I was in here. The server was nice enough and did her job well. She checked on me a few times, but not too many times. For food, I ordered one bacon wrapped slider, an order of garlic fries and a beer on tap. You can order multiple sliders, but honestly one is enough if you order fries and a drink. The burger was just ok, not the best but not bad either. It was pretty small and I ate it in about three bites. The fries were what won me over. If you love garlic, get the garlic fries! So tasty, warm and with the right amount of garlic! Yummy! My beer was nice and refreshing too. Prices here were a little above average. My meal, plus tax and tip, was about $ 18. It was worth it though since people watching here was excellent. I would consider coming here again, but I would want to try other places in this district before coming here again. Cheers!

Ate 6 of a planned 10 – 12 sliders but wasn’t compelled to order more, not due to being full either. (^_^) Red White & Bleu #cheesy (-_^) Carolina Babe #bbqy (-_^) Red & Gold Reuben #saucy (-_^) Truffle Bison #regulary (-_^) Mighty Meatball #donttrustthebinapt23 (-_-) Club Med #mehy If you want cray craftsmanship of every part of every slider, there are higher places on my list(literally I have a slider Unilocal list). But if you just want to eat a ton of sliders, it’s the most extensive menu: 25 sliders(some only at certain times of day) + random specials, like Red White & Bleu. #memorialday #americanslidersniper

Came here for lunch last week which is a pretty quiet time for them. I got the $ 7.95 slider combo with Carolina Babe(pulled pork slider) and a cup of cheddar broccoli soup. The soup was a pretty generous cup and good. The slider was good too and larger than a normal slider but smaller than a ¼ lb burger. However, afterwards I was still hungry and went home to have leftover fried chicken. When I thought about it, for a $ 5 slider here you could get a small burger at super duper. Overall the food was good, above average but not the greatest value as you need to order at least $ 10+ to get a real meal. It’s just burger and fries after all. For the price you can get a better burger at a burger — not slider — place nearby.

Called 5 min to midnight asked what time they served until, was told 2:30. Showed up 5 minutes later(I live down the street) and all the chairs were up and they were closed. Seriously. This isn’t my first complaint. The food is inconsistent but late night options are slim in sf so I keep finding myself back here. Can this place please sell so we can get a better dining option? Please.

Disclaimer — ordered delivery So my food was pretty good considering it was cold, and 15 minutes later than the time frame given to me for delivery. I’d actually boost the 2 stars all the way up to 4 stars if my food had arrived on time and warm(at the very least). Ordered a rueben slider and a side salad, my husband ordered two 3 alarm fire sliders. And we shared an order of garlic fries(totally cold). Everything was seasoned really well, and I’m willing to actually visit the place to experience the flavors at the their full potential. Price was decent for portion size, and we were ravenous so we ate everything but really, how hard is it to bring me not cold food?

Gee, I guess I still miss Baghdad Café, their triple-decker club sandwiches and their hi’ya-hon’ service. And Criolla wasn’t bad for chicken & waffles and its hopeless Southern-style optimism during its brief life here. But it’s been a downhill slide, pardon the pun, since I was just not feelin’ the love for this very packaged sports bar with multiple TV screens serving sliders, sliders and more sliders, as well as a few salads, fries and desserts(photo: ). I had to squeeze myself through the crowded front window area to secure one of the hi-top bar tables. I quickly perused the menu(photo:vhttp://bit.ly/1p7YLaN) and decided I would get a slider variety trio to get a good sampling of what they offered here(photo: ). It started out promisingly enough with the $ 4.95 Club Med, which combined ground lamb and beef and garlic and ginger into a mini-patty and topped it with crumbled feta cheese, olives, artichoke hearts, tomato, frisee and onions, all of it between a multi-grain bun slathered in garlic aioli(photo: ). That was decent even though they overdid the feta. But the next one didn’t work for me. It was the $ 4.95 California Roll, which took a ground chicken patty peppered with garlic and spread avocado over it. It was housed in the same multi-grain bun, this time with gem lettuce, tomato and chipotle sauce(photo: ). The chicken was overcooked and dried out and no amount of lubricant was going to bring it back to appetizing life. The last of the trio was the $ 4.75 Magic Mushroom which replaced the burger with balsamic marinated portobello mushrooms and added red onions, Swiss cheese, arugula and slathered the same multi-grain bun with a lemon mayo(photo: ). The flavors just didn’t come together for me as the citrus in the mayo was at odds with the balsamic vinegar that was liberally applied to the fungus. All three were gone in a matter of bites, and frankly none of the Belgian fries at the next table looked appetizing for me to order. Perhaps if I was a member of a loud, rambunctious group, I would have been less discriminating in my critique, but who am I kidding? I have to admit the excessive noise levels didn’t help to increase my dining pleasure here. FOOD — 2.5 stars… one out of three ain’t bad… oh wait, it actually is when it comes to the odds of gaining culinary euphoria around here AMBIANCE — 2 stars… loud, crowded and just not all that relaxing in here SERVICE — 2 stars… intermittent, at least when it existed… call me Mr. Cellophane TOTAL — 2 stars… mini-burgers are not the only things going through the Grindr, I mean grinder, if you know what I mean

Waitstaff was lovely and the best thing about this place. 9 am: I was there with just-graduated-from-college girl to watch the World Cup. As far as we could tell, so were all of the other patrons. Yay, they were open and had numerous flatscreens. We were not starving, but kinda needed to order something, right? Ok, maybe a bowl of fruit and some toast would be okay. Nope. The menu was really limited. Fries, waffles, chicken wings, green salad and sliders are pretty much what you can get. In the end we settled for breakfast fries which were pretty bad. They came with cold bacon bits, chunks of ‘swiss’ cheese(really? No. Some sort of white Kraft singles chopped up) and a fried egg on top. There were supposed to be scallions and chipotle catsup with this as well. Didn’t bother asking for the scallions as it was pretty clear they were not going to rescue this dish. Did ask for the chipotle catsup and glad I did as it helped the fries(which we ate without the bacon and ‘cheese’ chunks.) Coffee was standard. I also asked for ice water. Strangely it tasted like algae. Im not going back. I hope the waitstaff all find someplace else to work… someplace with better food… Germany:1 France:0

Mmm, sliders. Mini burgers, for when you don’t want a full size burger. They’re quality here at Slider Bar. The kitchen is pretty quick for when you’re feeling the noms. There’s a nice variety of meats to choose from, with various toppings, and even a few vegetarian sliders. Love the variety of toppings and meats. The 3-Alarm, which is supposedly their spicy slider, was pretty spicy the first time I had it, but not so spicy the next time around. Take that as you will. At an average of $ 5 for a slider, it’s a bit expensive for a single slider, although the price point gets cheaper with more sliders of the same type. You do have a choice of beef, chicken, pork, veggie, and breakfast sliders(breakfast being the cheapest). I’d say that it’s good for a snack, great for a longer affair. So you can mix and match and get a BUNCH of mini burgers on one plate. …Nice. Especially after a night of heavy drinking. They have a decent selection of beers on tap, which I would mostly classify as session beers. Some macros and some local micros. Also, the not-so-late-night bartenders here are really cool. We got like 6 free sangrias one night.
