Kim is really nice. Feel satisfied with the regular facial, and it makes me really relax during the facial time. Also, there is a good deal for the facial package.

I really was hoping this place would be good since it’s so close to my place but I was left disappointed. Kim, owner and my facialist, was super nice and talkative but tried to sell me tons of things(products, chemical peels, lasering, facial packages) the whole time and post facial. That’s fine since she runs a business but the facial was quite disappointing. She starts off with the usual cleanser, masque, moisturizing routine. The facial itself is about 75 minutes. I could not relax with her talking so much about politics and other topics. The massage was awful, I could have given myself a better one. At one point of the facial, she zapped my face with a pen like instrument. I just wished she spent more time on my pores. She mentioned that the eyebrow plucking was complimentary. However, she didn’t really do much plucking. maybe because I didn’t need it? Post facial, I noticed a new white bump on my face. No bueno.

This appears to be a relatively new business. I found their deals through craigslists, but couldn’t find anything about them on Unilocal.Still, I decided to go with my gut after having so-so facials from nearby spas(they either over extracted or I left the spa feeling very unnatural — too much product on my skin) and just a big desperation to get my eyebrows done after six months of just walking around like an messy bum and feeling so unconfident about the acne on my cheeks(stress induced, before that I was acne-free). Kim Lee(owner and person helping you) is very eager to please you and ready to answer questions or assist with any problems you might have. I had a few scars from .self extraction(a no, no, I know, I just can’t help it!) and my cheeks were just continuously inflamed with acne. Kim is very gentle with the skin(barely hurt) and does a lot of massaging to ensure that my skin stays clear and youthful. Her products have a very light fragrance and are light on the skin, and from the display case, they seem to be all from Paris, France. Even before she put the after-products on me, she let me touch my skin and I was surprised to feel how soft it was! I passed out for about 30 mins with an acne mask on my face. The huge acne scars I had on my cheeks and one bump on my chin calmed down dramatically and decreased in size. I got a package of 5 for $ 165 — what a steal(each facial is $ 33, which also includes free eyebrow shaping!) — and with each session she’s going to customize the facials with whitening to acne prevention. A step-by-step process where I don’t have to worry about managing my skin’s different stages, and she’s going to maintain my eyebrows during each session(once every 3 weeks — yes!). Best part was leaving the shop feeling clean because of my own skin, but not weighed down with creams. A one-time facial is $ 38(including eyebrow shaping for first-timers) for simple to acne facials, which is a steal on it’s own anyway! I will be a frequent customer of this business. It sounds like I’m being paid to write this review, but I’m really not! It’s the first time out of 3 other shops I’ve tried out that has actually given me a refreshing facial without making me feel like I have to depend on products. Kim might be a bit pushy on getting a package deal — but there are several great things about getting it. A). she doesn’t make you pay it all up front, you can pay in installments(great for college students/recent grads) B). It’s much cheaper, in reality, to get a package deal. Four stars for now, since it’s my first time, but I’ll be back Nov 10th for my second treatment, and we can see if this place is worth the hype.
