I’ve been taking my SF laundry and dry cleaning to Silver Tux for well over a decade. They’re just your SOLIDLY good all around Cleaners who actually take the time to inspect each item you bring in to discuss its cleaning care. Whether it’s my business suits or dress shirts, I’ve never once had a negative experience here. I’ve even bought them silk comforters, shirts with impossible stains on them(perils of being a foodie), minor alteration work, and Silver Tux worked their magic on them! If they can’t do something, they will tell you. If you pay in advance for your dry cleaning they will also give you a 10% off discount, whee! The family that runs this place is incredibly kind and gracious. The Mom here unfailingly greets me with a warm smile and always asks how I’ve been, about my travels, and is happy to hear about what’s going on in my life. I seriously could not ask for more from an awesome family run neighborhood business! What’s NOT okay are the GHETTO Generation«ME» douche-bags/princesses who park in the«green zone» in front of Silver Tux and then run off toting their sticky mats to the yoga studio around the corner or skipping down Eliza’s for their lunch specials. This is 10 Minute only parking for the customers of this business!!! Nothing is worse than being in a time crunch and having to double park on a hill just because some selfish/inconsiderate person has left their car in the customer zone, SIGH!!!

I come here often. They have great and friendly customer service, quick and always in a timely manner of returning clothes. Was able to remove big stain on shirt and hem up my jeans, even patch up a hole.

This is the closest cleaners to my house, but I do not go there. Gave them one try and they left a permanent press stamp on the inside of the collar for each of my shirts. I took the shirts to town cleaners instead, but they couldn’t get the stamps out. I definitely felt bad because one of the shirts they stamped was not mine. My friend wasn’t very pleased either. Go to Town Cleaners down the street. They have never damaged any of my clothes.

Very friendly service. But they did not get a stain out of my husband’s shirt and slightly tinged the edge of his shirt sleeve. Will not go back. Too bad since it’s just around the corner. Still in search of that perfect neighborhood dry cleaner.
