The Dan Dan noodles, beef in chili sauce(closer to chili oil to me), and the cumin lamb are also excellent. I would definitely recommend trying them too.

Everyone comes for(and reviews) the dim sum, but they have one of the best 夫妻肺片(cold, spicy beef appetizer aka«husband and wife») in San Francisco. The other Sichuan dishes we tried were good, but certainly far from the best. I would drive here just for the beef appetizer.

Ordered General Tsao’s chicken(I know, I know!), seafood pan fried noodles and a box of rice for dinner. It took 10 minutes for them to russle my grub. The chicken was lightly breaded and tasty. Deduct one star for the chilies. The menu didn’t say this dish was spicy but it was. If you like hot this is for you. I like how they separated the pan fried noodles from the seafood and gravy. That way, your noodles will remain crispy until you get home. Not bad for dinner!

The food was not good at all, especially the fish in garlic sauce. They also charge us 15% tip immediately even with only two people. However it was not clearly written as tip so people who do not pay attention would double pay tip.

First, if you are not Chinese, you are pretty much not welcomed. I came in with my family and straight away we were look at as if we did not belong, and we didn’t. The service was really slow, and we needed to get up and go get our waitress to order and to get our check. Again, if you are not Chinese, or you don’t speak mandarin, it will be very difficult to order. The food, was ok, however I’m sad to say my favorite food was the steamed rice, which is hard to mess up. I recommend the noodles, because other entrée’s like the spring rolls and duck breast just tasted wrong. Overall, I do not recommend this restaurant because there are so many more options in San Francisco.

Just average dim sum, everything tasted ok except for the siu mai. Convenient neighborhood location.

After passing by this place for months now, we stopped in for a family dim sum brunch on Saturday. At noon, there was no wait, though the place was completely full. We marked off our dim sum order on their laminated menu and dishes started arriving shortly. I really like their mix of Cantonese dim sum with Sichuan dishes. My favorite was the wonton in chili oil(not too spicy). We also ordered: bbq pork buns taro dumplings lettuce with garlic bbq pork puff chicken/bittermelon noodle roll beef noodle roll dan tat(egg custard) — 2 orders siu mai Shanghai dumplings We were pleasantly impressed by the quality of dim sum at Sichuan Table — all the dishes were consistently light, flavorful, and not greasy. I’m picky about my dim sum and have yet to find any places in SF or on the Peninsula that are beyond just passable, including all the big names. At Sichuan Table, the bbq pork bun had the perfect ratio of filling to bun. The dan tat, arriving in flaky crust, contained the perfect light yellow shade of custard, which glistened and jiggled ever so slightly as the waitress placed the dish on our table. This is one of the harder dishes to get just right. Oftentimes most dim sum restaurants over bake it. We also didn’t get the usual MSG headache afterwards. Total for above dishes was only $ 45(+ tax/tip)! Service was slightly slow but the staff were all running around since the restaurant was packed. Clean restaurant as well(though can’t comment on the bathrooms since didn’t use). Will definitely be back!

The roommate is all about lazy Sundays. Since I don’t cook and the last thing he wants to do is cook on his days off, we more or less always get delivery. On Sunday, October 25th, we ordered dim sum for lunch through DoorDash( ). I placed the order a little before 2pm and it arrived about 45 mins later. Prices seem to be the same as the menus I’ve found online with the Small sized dim sum being $ 0.20 less per dish. Dimsum: Small($ 2.60 each) *Siu mai *Spare ribs *Chicken feet *Beef ball *Spring roll *Pot sticker *Baked egg tard With small dim sum dishes, I tend to over order since it’s so cheap! Most of it was pretty average. My favorite was actually the egg tart.(Tard is obviously a typo.) The crust flaky and the filling eggy with a subtle sweetness. The spareribs were the most disappointing as they were mostly fatty and chewy bits. Not a whole lot of meat. Dimsum: Medium($ 3.20 each) *Shrimp dumpling *Deep fried taro dumpling *Shrimp stuffed eggplant *Shanghai style juicy bun *Bean curd roll & oyster sauce The medium dishes fared better than the small. The taro dumpling was my favorite. Crispy on the outside and soft and meaty in the center. The shrimp and shanghai dumplings were good as well. The eggplant and bean curd roll were only okay. I found the eggplant a little slimy. Dimsum: Large($ 3.80 each) *Chicken & sticky rice in lotus leaf *Shrimp rice noodle roll *Hong Kong style egg puff I liked all the large dishes. The sticky rice had a nice amount of filling with the egg, lap cheong, meat, etc. The shrimp noodle roll wrapper was soft with a slight chew and filled with tender shrimp. The egg puff was a tad undercooked in the center, but it was still fried nicely on the outside and had good flavor. I never even knew Sichuan Table even served dim sum until I found them on DoorDash. I’m glad I did as they offer good selection at great prices. I love Sichuan food, so I have a feeling I’ll probably sample their dinner selection one day. Hopefully it’ll be just as good, if not better!

I frequently visit this place more than the original location on Geary. This location is definitely more spacious and easier to find parking. I would choose to visit dine here for dinner instead for dim sum. The dim sum here isn’t as great as other dim sum places in the city, however what they offer on the menu for dinner is delicious.

This place is delicious on a cold day, just on the corner. I have only had Szechuan dishes from a former coworker, I believe. Everything in my opinion, was delicious. It’s food to share and you have to order rice separately. I loved the tea, it was very light. The Dan Dan Noodle was yummy, the noodles were definitely fresh and if you get it spicy — it’s spicy! We got a few other dishes like fried chicken, beef I think it was. I was happy to see the fish, I believe they serve it fresh! Service was okay. They make you serve the soup and split it yourself, while you just watch. They give a yummy gelatin dessert too.

We frequented the restaurant at this location before Sichuan Table took it over pror to that restaurant’s quality dropping considerably. A year later, we returned in hopes that the new owners would make it great. They did. Plenty of attention was taken to the remodel of the restaurant itself, but the food was the pleasant surprise for us. Fried items were not over-fried, the noodles were not oily and had a great wok smoke to them as well as a fantastic almost-crisp texture. Great flavors throughout our dim sum. Nothing too salty. Nothing too fried. All ingredients were fresh-tasting and identifiable, each with its own character. The textures were great as well – not over-steamed, just the right crispness, and well-presented to boot. We will absolutely be coming back again, happy to have this nearby spot as an option again. THANKYOU, Sichuan Table for resurrecting this location.

Nice new everything compared to the restaurant that used to be here. We came her for Dim Sum and it’s good food. Giving it a five stars as it’s pretty good. Only dim sum restaurant around this area. I don’t know if dinner menu is good. But lunch Dim Sun was very good. I’ll be coming back here for lunch.

This place is crap! Don’t go here! Just save yourself the misery. Eat somewhere else. Yesterday was the first time I tried this restaurant, and the food was a disaster. I ordered two items as carry out, both of them are super simple to make, and both were horrible failures. I ordered pork fried rice, and all I found when I got home was stale oily rice. There was no pork in the pork fried rice, no egg, and no vegetables. I also ordered Chinese broccoli, but all I got were broccoli stalks — no leaves, nothing but woody broccoli stalks. Since I live two blocks from this restaurant, I hoped it would be someplace I could make a regular haunt. Unfortunately, they screwed up two of the easiest things on any Chinese restaurant menu. Plus they charged me more than the price on their online menu. Again, this place is crap.

First time coming here for their dim sum. I have been waiting for 50 minutes and still waiting. It’s not even a full house. And other people that came in after got their food first. What kind of service is that?! Update: we finally got our dim sum but they still managed to forget one dish… Warning: make sure you double check your order because they sure don’t.

Sichuan Table has changed it’s stripes(name/menu) but the interior remains the same. one gets a checkoff dim sum menu and a whole book of colorful pics of sichuan entrees. eats: dim sum(s.2.80, M 3.20. L 3.8) –xlb(m) xlb stuck to aluminum foil red vinegar given instead of usual brown sauce no spoon givenp probably not made in house *dim sum isn’t all cantonese, some northern items too –shrimp crêpe(l) silky crêpe skin crunchy, tasteless, grass-tasting shrimp take outs: –service ok –not charged for tea –food choosen just average or almost average.

My standards are too high, I know, but this dim sum is pretty decent for the bay. It used to be a different restaurant that was pink but I forgot the name and just reopened. Order style dim sum, not rolling cart. The usual was good but nothin standout: Shu Mai, har gao, shrimp wrap. I thought the fried stuff like calamari had too much breading. Lots of old people and families which is a good sign. I’m gonna give it another shit when everyone’s not rushing so much. It’s also confusing to me why the name is Si chuan but they advertise Hong Kong style dim sum… Looking forward to them settling in and becoming less confusing.
