No more Shu Uemera in the US anymore. For reasons I don’t know. Why must you deny me of my Shu Uemera!!! :(couldn’t give it a rating less than 1 star so 1 star it is!

I had a wonderful makeup experience at Shu in Nordies. I needed to get gussied up for a holiday party and wanted makeup that looked glam not tranny. So off I went to Shu. Here’s what you should do to have a great experience: 1) Make an appointment first 2) When you get there, look over the selection and buy a pair of lashes. The lashes are high quality and there is a lot of choices from minimalist to outrageous. Priced($ 21 – 70) My pair was $ 23. 3) When you are getting your makeup done, make sure to tell your artist what you like and don’t like, be vocal cause she can’t read your mind and we all have ideas about what is too much blue eye shadow. 4) Thank your artist profusely for the samples she gives you of the $ 70 oil cleanser, which is an awesome product. 5) Pay only the price of the lashes. $ 23 is an amazing price to pay for a full makeover and lash application. This usually costs at least $ 75. 6) Go out and look fabulous!

Hard as it is to believe as Pisces are supposed to be irresponsible, spaced out, indecisive, absent-mined, careless(to name a few), I’m a planner. I like to be in charge. Maybe it’s the Dominatrix in me, but I like to map out some things. In reality, I had a big night planned and wanted to get prettified beforehand. I have tried the Shu Uemera on Fillmore in the past, and had a great time there, and the one in Nordstrom did not disappoint. Danielle is awesome. We discussed what I wanted, and what she did was perfect. I strongly recommend coming here whether you want to go subtle or big on your makeup– because they have some AWESOME lashes. All I need to do is find a place where I can wear the turquoise ones…
