Shopping Made Simple

one morning while getting ready for work i found myself standing in front of my closet overwhelmed by a major case of wardrobe drama, thinking quite loudly to myself, «i need a wardrobe consultant!!! arrgghghh!!!» and then on the way to work i realized that i know a wardrobe consultant and oh, yeah, she’s my friend! and she’s helped at least 5 of my friends and i love what she’s done for them. i’m calling elena as soon as i get to work.
elena came to my place, got a glass of water, with camera and notebook in hand headed directly to my closet. there was no time or space for me to feel weird or self-​conscious. elena put me and my anxieties at ease. the basics were that she helped me to understand that it’s not good to keep things in my closet that make me feel badly. really? ok, sounds awesome! so i got rid of way more than i thought i would have and i also feel really confident in the things i do have. we went through certain items i’ve had for a while and couldn’t figure out why they weren’t working and with some slight alterations i’m wearing things i love but haven’t worn in a while.
not only do i feel better about my clothes, i feel sexy in the outfits elena helped me put together and when i go out i feel way more confident in my choices as well as the way i look.

For years I had been trying to transition my wardrobe into something more appropriate for my age and professional life. I had difficulty because I didn’t want to give up my independent flare but felt I need to move passed studded belts and vintage rags. Elena helped me clean out me closet and put together outfits for all occasions. She helped me keep the unique pieces that worked and get rid of the ones that didn’t. She took pictures of the outfits and I often refer to them when I am stumped for what to wear. Elena did a wardrobe consultation for me… I started thinking she was going to toss out half of my closet and tell me I needed to spend a fortune on new clothes, but it was so much better! She helped me rethink my existing wardrobe, finding a better way to wear the clothes I have and how to add just a few pieces to really bring my «fun» wardrobe up to par. It was even better than shopping!
