Wow, you know you had a great time when you’re still smiling after sailing a few hours in the rain! This was my first trip with Captain Mark and SF Bay Sailing. Truthfully, it was my first time sailing! Determined to crush the bucket list this year, I was lucky to find such a great place to start.
Mark is super knowledgeable, a natural teacher and does a great job letting you pace your participation. We started the trip with an overview of the boat, terminology, and safety (radio calls and life preservers required). I really felt part of a crew as we all helped with ropes and sails and important directional things (hey, I’m still learning the terminology) We toured the Bay a bit and made a nice trip to Angel Island, where we took lunch on board (due to the weather) It was cozy and the group size was perfect. I will always have the fondest memories of this day.

Captain Mark is a perfect mix of professionalism and fun. He is an awesome sailor and generous with his knowledge. If you love sailing it doesn’t get better than sailing on the Bay. If you love adventure, learning, and having fun it doesn’t get better than Captain Mark. :)
