This store has everything I need, even if there’s just one thing on the shelf! Bob is always so helpful, friendly, and genuine. I come here at least once a week, as I’m only 2 blocks away. The best place for emergencies!

This place saved my life and I love «Bob» the little gentleman behind the counter. I take my grand daughter there now so she can say hi to Bob and buy candy. When my husband and I moved to San Francisco and had an apartment on 16th Avenue and three kids, we all got sick with the flu and I mean sick, I couldn’t leave the house. I got out of the bed and called Bob and told him my story and how I needed ginger ale and popcicles and chicken soup and crackers… etc. and before the day of home delivery of groceries, that sweet man packed up the stuff I needed and hand carried to my apartment. He didn’t even expect payment in case I couldn’t pay right then, but of course I had a check, and he trusted me. Thank you again Bob, you deserve a place in my heart forever for your kindness.

the most attractive aspect of this establishment is the collection of 80’s tidbits strewn throughout the store. hanging on the end of one shelf are crudely constructed, off-​pink plastic cocktail stirrers, coming in a twelve pack. near the back, across from the dairy cooler are egg-​shaped cartons of stockings. below the snack foods you’ll find a cardboard box filled with dying books — there’s a physics book if you feel high school did not serve you well. directly to the left of the register stands an impressive collection of old VHS movies; I thought they burned all the copies of «3 Ninjas»…
the owner is a cute old man who runs a well tuned machine. sometime you’ll find his? brother? there, who is just as nice. in any case you can always grab what you need (or a suitable replacement) from this little convenience store — and they carry both original and mint It’s-It’s. rock on.
