Moving to a new city brings a lot of anxiety for me because my hair is extremely particular; it’s super fine, but I have a lot of it. Even the most seasoned pro tends to cut it as if it’s coarse hair and I end up with a thinned out mess.
I met Sergei last year at a social event and decided to give him a try. I really lucked out because he cut and colored my hair perfectly, the first time. Now, after nearly a year (and following him from his previous location), I am a client for life! I’m always thrilled after spending time in his chair… I usually get a cut and color (with a relaxing scalp massage) and I constantly get compliments on my ‘do.
An added bonus, he’s a charming conversationalist, so the time goes by quickly!

5 Stars! Thanks so much to Sergei. He did it again and I was just looking at myself in the mirror and it feels like for the first time in years I feel sexy! I asked him to do what he wanted. All I told him was that I wanted a change. I had long hair down to the center of my back and felt Blah. He took a razor blade and gave me a nicely-shaped messy cut that is super easy to style. All I have to do is blow dry and go! The cut saves me time and makes me feel like a twenty-one-year-old Hottie. Woohoooooooo. Im a happy, sexy-feeling kitten and the world is my oyster thanks to Sergei’s artistic vision and my «letting go of my comfort zone» Love Love Love!

Not only is Sergei a wonderful hair stylist, but he is also a caring and sweet person who is super fun to talk to in the chair. He did a great job fixing a super screwed up haircut I got from another hairdresser, thank goodness! :) I knew right away I could trust him to fix my hair, he really put me at ease and communicated about what he was doing. I LOVE my new haircut! Definitely will be a repeat customer and highly recommend.

I just experienced one of the BEST hair cuts and colorings I’ve had in my life.
This was the second time I’d gone to see Sergei. The first time was about seven months back while I was travelling through San Francisco for a television commercial.
In any case, the first time was a solid experience so after I had heard that he moved to Los Angeles, I had to see him again. Well, the second was even better.
He gave me a modern cut and color that was both feminine and edgy. I have long hair to begin with but he gave me a cut that grew out perfectly, even 6 months later!
I’m always impressed by the results of both the cut and color.

I first came to Sergei for my hair about a year and a half ago. I loved the color he gave me and not only is he great with hair, he is so great to be around! Sergei is very friendly, personable, professional, energetic and hilarious. Such a character. It’s fun to watch him with other clients, it is truly an art what he does with his hands and tools with every head of hair, and what tops it off is how happy and passionate he is about his work. I highly recommend Sergei as a stylist.

Visited Sergei after being recommended by one of my clients in the film/tv world. She said he’s the best around, and she was Right ! Sergei was amazing. He’s an extremely talented hair dresser, and has a great personality and charm about him. Other hair dressers I’ve used in the past had problems cutting my often unruly curly hair, but not Sergei. He went over various options and styles with me until I found one that I liked. He was confident in his cutting, and it looked AMAZING when he finished. I’ve since recommended him to another client and good friend of mine, and both have been extremely happy with his work as well. He’s one of the best LA has to offer
