Wanted to see what the hype was about since we see crowds of people lined up daily at this food truck. My coworker and I were able to beat the lunchtime rush hour by getting to the truck early and ordered the Sisig Chicken Burrito. Quick turnaround. Got back to the office, unwrapped this perfectly wrapped burrito, took a bite, and we both agreed that it was GOOD! It wasn’t overly-heavy yet it was flavorful and definitely filling. All-in-all, I am pretty satisfied. Will definitely come by again to try something else on the menu(prior to the rush hour of course).

Had to try this as a friend raved about it. I’ve seen it at Union Square but we tried the one at Fort Mason Off the Grid. The burritos are solid and generous. Each burrito was split between 2 people so that we had stomach room to try other foods. The only snag was that our friends received the wrong order, but they still enjoyed it.

Holy wow. This place was incredible. Easily one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Split the California with Spicy Pork and the other burrito and had a hard time deciding which was the better. The French fries in the burrito were delicious and almost made it taste breakfasty. Didnt think the spicy pork was very spicy but it was tasty. The only piece I wasn’t crazy about was the cookie with the purple yam jelly. It was very soft but the texture was kind of off and it seemed to turn to mush in your mouth. An anticlimactic end to super amazing meal.

Tosilog burrito is amazinggggg! Originally wanted to try the sisig burrito but I’m usually a sucker for«specials» and even the cashier recommended the tosilog since they only serve it on certain days being a first timer, so I had to try it. Tosilog burrito: sweet pork, fried egg and rice. Simple and delicious, just how I like it. I wish the portions were a little bigger for $ 10 but quality over quantity I guess. Every bite was heaven, everything went so well together. Ive never had tosilog before, but it tastes very similar to Chinese/Vietnamese sausage lap suong. I’m drooling just writing this review. I like the vinegar sauce with the burrito, it adds a tang/kick. Highly recommend the tosilog burrito! I wished they included like fries or a side with the burrito cause then that’s worth $ 10.

Ahhhh… Señor Sisig — SO. MUCH. YUMMY. GOODNESS. I can’t remember exactly where or when we first met but with the endless choices of food trucks nowadays — you still remain as one of my top 5 faves!!! I remember initially thinking the prices seemed crazy — almost $ 10 for a burrito and $ 4 tacos!!! Seriously? It CAN’T be that good BUT let me tell you — it’s WORTH every penny. I’m definitely not the only one who thinks so because there is usually a line for days. I used to always get the tacos(two is usually enough for me — plus I can’t justify spending double digits on tacos hahah) but then I tried the Señor Sisig burrito with chicken. MINDBLOWN. What is in that crack cilantro cream sauce??? I usually opt out on beans but get extra sauce. The chicken is perfectly tender and ridiculously flavorful — YUMYUMYUM!!! California burrito also seems popular here but I will never understand french fries in burritos LOLLL. I went this past weekend & noticed the prices went up 50 cents… but don’t you worry — that will not stop me from coming back! It’s good to treat yourself once in awhile folks: D TIP: They come to Alameda Off the Grid on a rotational basis and the wait is never too bad. If it’s overcast, cold, rainy, etc — there is literally less than a 5min wait! SCORE: D Fun fact: They were featured on DDD — Guy Fieri approved! Haha: D

Señor Sisig is good if you have a sudden craving of a delicious filipino food coma lunch! The line is always supppper long, so be sure to come early before 11:30am! Anytime after, the line would just be horrifying. If it’s your first time at this truck, I would recommend you ordering the Sisig burrito with pork! It’s their signature. It comes with rice, beans, sisig pork, salsa, and saucy goodness. The portion is good and I couldn’t finish the entire burrito! My coworkers got the California burrito, the one loading with fries, and the Tosilog burrito, and they both loved them as well! I actually liked eating my burrito with the vinegar that they offer, it served as a tangy contrast to the quite heavy burrito. You also can’t forget to eat it with SRIRACHA!!! mmm. Be prepared for the instant food coma that comes after :). It’s definitely not a suggested lunch option if you are a health freak or on a diet. Other than that, the food is delicious.

What happened to their chicken adobo with really delicious rice? Today I went with my friend, waited in line for over 30 minutes(at 1:30PM too mind you), spent over $ 10 each, and still ended up being hungry. My verdict: if you really want Filipino fare, you’re better off leaving the city and go further south. This is what the place got right for filipino food: 1. Subpar quality meat 2. Greasy 3. Lacking vegetables This is what they didn’t accomplish: 1. Feeling like you didn’t just get ripped off 2. Portions that will make you full for hours to come 3. Chicken adobo 4. Flavorful food 5. Home cooked food The craziest part about this place is that they impart flavors by using just plain old sodium chloride crystals! Someone said this place is Señor Salty, I think it’s just Señor Disgustig.

This is the first I’ve had of Filipino fusion food, but will definitely return. The line is really long so it’s not exactly great for lunch if you’re short on time. However, for an extra $ 1, you can cut the line and order Tosilog burrito through Qcutter. Speaking of Tosilog burrito, it was soo good!!!(Tosilog burritos are the specials for Thursdays only, I think.) The rice and the meat was perfectly wrapped so that you get the perfect rice to meat ratio in every bite. Yum! The burrito was really dense. After finishing my lunch, it was extremely difficult to stay awake for the rest of the day. While I would prefer this for dinner, I would definitely return for lunch, as long as I can schedule for a nap immediately afterwards.

Was headed to Blondies for a slice and caught Señor Sisig across the street instead. Decided to give it a try. We ordered the chicken fries and pork burrito. It was average and nothing that really stood out that made me drool over it. The burrito was good but it seem like the ingredients inside was cold like room temp. The fries werent pippin hot and fresh and I am not sure if all the toppings caused it to just cool down that quick. For thr fries you can choose shredded or nacho cheese though. The pork is pretty good and I would choose it over the chicken. Little pricey averaged $ 10 a piece.

Greetings from San Diegoooo. Where there’s only a bunch of taco shops .and Filipinos everywhere. :P And of course, I’m married to one. So the fact that such thing even existed. — yup, we had too. It’s the concept alone of burrito and sisig. That caught our attention. So it’s only obvious that you stick to what the hype is. We met with them around union square and didn’t see a line forming until after we placed our order.(You get the option of pork, chicken or tofu sisig) We got pork sisig burrito, tacos, nachos and fries! Although these are similar food we usually eat in SD, it still taste just as good with sisig as the alternate option. I highly recommend the señor burrito or tacos. The meat was pretty good, not chewy or fatty pieces, has the right amount of flavor to complement everything else together. Yes they offer it with rice, regular style. But why not go to a regular Filipino food joint for that?

I have been here so many times and I am Hooked!!! I have to say its a little bit dangerous that this truck it literally around the corner(Pine Street between Montgomery & Sansome) from my work and they are now here ALLWEEK!!! OH boy!!! Note: The line is super long during lunch time(12 – 1) so be prepare. I think average wait time probably around 15mins for not super long and 30 – 40 when its super long line. I usually would get there by 1 or 11:45 to avoid the line. I always get pork sisig with steam rice or tocino burrito if they have that as a special or señor sisig burrito. I always added fried egg on my food to make it extra tasty. I just discovered there’s an app call QCutter where you can pre order the food and go and pick it up at the truck. I haven’t use the app yet but will soon. I think it’s slightly more than buying the food from the truck, but if you are in a hurry and don’t wanna wait, I think its a great idea! will be checking out other items from the menu and see which one is the best. Stay Tune.

Came to OTG in the SerraManila parking lot today. I’m a first timer at SS and wanted to give this place a try because 1) I see so many reviews about it 2) It’s my people’s food and I love Sisig so there’s no other option BUT to try it out :) OTG hours Tuesday at SM was 5:00pm-9:00pm so I made sure to arrive exactly at 5 because I know how hectic these venues can get. I arrived exactly at 5 and there was already a line of about 15 people ahead of me. To my surprise the line moved pretty quickly and the wait time was not bad at all. Ordered a pork señor Sisig burrito and also chicken Sisig fries to go(Didn’t want to be super fat but hey… it’s my first time trying it out and so what who cares: P). Took my first bite into my burrito and didn’t know what to expect. OMG was it super tasty! I thought that maybe it would be basically just a burrito with Sisig instead of carne asada but the flavor was so perfect. The Sisig was super flavorful and empowering(which I Loved) and the Garlic adobo rice was also rich in flavor, and the sauces and everything fused into that burrito made my tastebuds explode. 5 stars for the long lines but not so long wait time, the friendliness of the staff, and the flavorful items that I ordered! Job well done Señor Sisig! A+ for your successfully creative fusion. I guess I’m going to have to keep coming back until I try everything on your(not so big but not so small, quality and authenticated) menu. I’m definitely a fan!

Please come to Dallas :( The food trucks here have become boring and there is no way in hell I’m going back to Chipotle for an infected burrito. Your line may be the longest, and your price the priciest, but your spicy sisig hugged by garlic fried rice and easy egg all tightly wrapped for walk-munching enjoyment make me want to cabbage dance naked on top of your truck. These chunks of pig head and liver in «sour» marinade are perfect pulatan, sizzling and crispy that make me want a beer in hand. Other days when I feel like being healthy, the chicken or tofu version will do the trick without sacrificing the gluttonous flavor. To have sisig married with another great food invention, my mind cannot take much more. Wait. You can even silog that sisig? Whoever denied that adding a fried egg heightened any dish needs to meet me outside at 3pm. The soft thick yolk drenches soft garlic infused rice making it sticky and luscious. Guess what? It doesn’t fall out like when it’s in a burger because it is encased in a burrito. Brilliant. Señor Sisig will not leave you devastated with wasted yolk. You will get the perfect burrito if Filipinos had invented it in the first place.

I love their señor burrito! They come to SFSU every Tuesday from 11AM — 2PM. I love how they chose a spot near a few benches and also somewhat close to public transportation. There’s one friendly worker at the cash register and multiple staff preparing your food in a timely manner. My two complaints are the price and the foil. $ 10.74 is pricey considering I can get a bigger burrito at a taqueria or even Chipotle for less than $ 9. You can’t really rip their foil neatly. I find myself ripping bits of foil off every time I enjoy their burrito. This makes it difficult to save leftovers for later.

I absolutely love this food truck. I am not, by nature, a very big fan of burritos. I don’t care for salsa or avocado, two staples of burritos at most places. But Señor Sisig is not your typical burrito. In fact, I sort of think about it as the Ikes of burrito places. Let me begin by saying that this joint features a photo of Guy Fieri eating at the truck, which is at first glance enough to chase me away from most places on any given day. But Señor Sisig came highly recommended to my by a co-worker, and the line at this place suggested that the product would be worth the wait. I say that because I feel like folks in the Bay Area are privy to the scam that is a Guy Fieri endorsement, so I naturally — and correctly, assumed that he was not the cause for the commotion. The menu is simple and straightforward. I always order the California Sisig burrito, medium spicy, with chicken. The California Sisig comes stuffed with French Fries, cheese, crispy sisig chicken, sour cream, and pico de gallo. It also comes with guac, but as I mentioned earlier, I stay skipping that. It is a lot of food for the price, and they make the burritos quick and clean. I don’t even understand how they wrap them so tightly. Medium spicy is just right, but even their hottest option seems to be a bit more on the mild side compared with other burrito places. My only complaint about this truck is the lack of seating anywhere nearby. I typically pick up my burrito and then find a nice coffee place nearby with outdoor seating, but this can lead to a somewhat expensive lunch outing once you factor coffee into the equation. Still, it is easily worth it for what you are getting. Señor Sisig comes with a very real barrier to entry in the form of a long and enduring wait if you choose to brave it during peak hours. But endure, first timers, and you will be hooked for life. It really is that good.

I’m definitely a fan of this food truck! I was excited to try Filipino Mexican fusion. I got the Señor Sisig burrito with pork(~$ 10). It’s a little on the pricey side for a burrito but the quality is worth it. It’s packed with rice, beans, lettuce, pico de gallo and this amazing cilantro cream sauce. I highly recommend getting that.

Food isn’t too bad. We tried 2 burritos and the day’s special — Tislog which was a burrito with what tasted like Chinese sausage, lop chong. I preferred the flavor of the Calif burrito but would’ve wanted rice instead of Fries in it. Hubby like the Sisig burrito the best. We also tried their fries that everyone raves about. It was ok. I think I would rather have my Sisig meat on a plate with rice than in a tortilla.

Went to Off the Grid tonight at Serramonte, and had to go for Señor Sisig. As always, I had to wait in a long line. You ever wonder why Señor Sisig has the longest line out of all food trucks at Off the Grid? The smart thing to do would be to go ahead and try it to see what it’s all about. Glad I made that move last year. Señor Sisig never fails me. Despite waiting in a long line to make an order, you don’t wait as long to get your food. But whatever the wait is, it’s definitely worth it! I’m Filipino, so I love sisig. Probably one of my favorite dishes. And being me, I love fries. So I could never go wrong with their Sisig Fries! Their pork is so tender and flavorful. The fries, the guac, the sour cream, the cheese, and the tomatoes just add to the goodness. It’s basically Filipino nacho fries :) Gotta love a food truck that serves great food!

Every Tuesday I venture out to Sisig and endure the 30 minute wait just so once again I can taste the glory of the California Burrito. It’s something special; the french fries combined with a well grilled chicken and the guac mixed with some magic is worth the wait. You get your bang for your buck, as I usually struggle to finish the whole burrito. Anytime I do manage to finish it, I instantly regret it, as it’s too much food. This is one of the food trucks definitely worth trying.

Not a fan. Their burritos are quite unique but that didn’t translate into tasty. I got the señor sisig chicken burrito and found it to be overly dry. At first it felt alright but after j kept digging in and biting into the burrito in search of some flavor or salsa or sour cream I just couldn’t find it I went to the food truck over on 2nd street and the wait was quite long(~10 mins) I probably wouldn’t go back unless they change something about their signature burrito. Tip: not only do they accept credit cards but also Apple Pay! They also have Mexican

Finally got to try Señor Sisig! Was able to catch them right before closing at Civic Center Off the Grid. Came with my coworker for lunch. I got: Sisig Taco with pork: this was pretty good. 6″ taco for $ 4. So I guess not too bad for SF. Also my coworker got a burrito for about $!0 which you probably won’t find in some other hipster places. But back to this taco, was not soggy at all and tortilla with a nice texture. I usually like pulled pork on my tacos and was surprised that I did mind their fried pork bites. very good flavor. Gonna try their burrito next time I catch them. Warning, this is not diet food.

I’m always skeptical about a place that sells burritos for more than $ 6 or $ 7 because of how many amazing and cheap places there are to get burritos in the area. But the California Burrito here is pretty good. It comes with guacamole which is usually an extra dollar at most places anyways and stuffed with French fries, bacon, pork or chicken, cheese and more. SO sinfully good. I initially thought the burrito was normal sized and I usually can finish 90% of a burrito but I was STUFFED after 50%(well it does have all those extra add ins). I took off a star because not all of the burrito was evenly warmed and the French fries weren’t as fresh/crispy as they could have been but to be fair, I did go right at closing time(1:50PM) so maybe that was why. What I really liked though was the crunch of the bacon which added an extra special texture. Definitely would recommend trying it out if you want something besides the typical standard burrito.

These burritos leave me feeling full and satisfied each time. I always get the«California», it’s the perfect combination of burrito and fries. I also appreciate the multiple protein opinions such as beef, chicken, or tofu. One time my friend received the wrong burrito and they gave her a cookie to make up for it. Good think she wasn’t the crazy vegetarian lazy. Thanks for making great food, I will be back soon!

After hearing all the hype about Señor Sisig i decided to give it a go for a random lunch day. I ordered the Cali Burrito(chicken) the first time. I thought it was OK, nothing that crazy or amazing that blew my mind. The guac in it kinda bothered me since it reminded me of the«guac» u buy packaged from Lucky’s or safeway(don’t like it). After a while of nomming on the burrito it just tasted a lil bland. I went another day by request of my coworker to give it a try again and I ordered the rice plate with chicken and topped with an egg. I have to say this dish was pretty delicious and I’d definitely order this one again. It was much more flavorful and the the egg on rice was pretty good too. Rich but delicious. I’d come again but only to have the rice plate! Alfajores are delicious too ;)

Never understood the hype with this Señor Sisig. The lines are always long, so if you want to give this place a shot, expect to be waiting for a while. I understand that usually long lines= awesome food, but this seems to be of slow service. The food itself is just ok to me. I agree with one of the reviews I saw below, after a couple of bites it just becomes flat. For a burrito, with sisig(which I love), I honestly think it just lacks flavor. I’m not the only one. I have friends, family, and other acquaintances that think this is food truck is too hyped up. I ordered the California Burrito which was a mistake. If you don’t eat it right when they hand it to you, the fries inside become soggy. Being a Filipino from the Bay Area, I really wanted to like this place and have it live up to its rep, but it doesn’t. I still give it 3 stars because I understand that having a food truck is challenging, but it’s really not all it’s hyped up to be. Next time, I would probably try just the sisig with rice plate. That seems to be the safer choice since the burrito was a let down.(My husband’s family is Mexican and knows how to make some bomb burritos, so my expectations are high, and although I know burritos didn’t originate in Mexico, it’s an American thing, I still think Mexicans know how to do it best.) I would give it another shot, I just hope not to be disappointed again. The owners look awesome and I commend them for this business, I’m just being real about the food and service. Try it out, but if you have friends who rave and rave and rave about it, don’t be surprised if you don’t get everything you hoped for.

Quality burritos from a truck. I am a big fan of the tosilog(normally a special burrito only available on certain days), it is a bit different from the usual burrito but has a great taste and comes with some vinegar on the side. I have also tried the sisig and the californian, they are both great too and I regularly try and mix things up. They also have alfajores(like a shortbread cookie+nutella sandwich) which are awesome, just what you need as you are about to enter your burrito enduced food coma.

Tried this truck at SOMA during their SF Beer Week event. Since I don’t eat meat, it’s kind of hard to judge the shining star of this truck(pork). So instead, I ordered a sisig taco with tofu($ 4). With only 5 ingredients(tortilla, tofu, cilantro cream, onion, lettuce, and chopped jalapeño sprinkled on top), I was surprised at how flavorful it was! There was a good amount of heat coming from the jalapeño, and the cilantro cream was a super light contrast to the tofu. I’ll definitely try the sisig burrito next time!

Being in California and not getting Filipino food would be a total fail for me so when I saw that this Filipino fusion food truck would be only 2 blocks from my hotel on my last day in SF– I had to jump on it. I came exactly at 11am when they opened because I had to leave the area at 11:30am to catch a flight. To my surprise there were already 4 people in line before I got there. Regardless of that, the line moved quickly and even after I ordered it only took 5 minutes for my food to be ready. I ordered the special of the day which was the Tosilog Burrito– a burrito stuffed with sweet Filipino pork with garlic rice and a fried egg. The burrito was good but tasted even better with the optional side of peppered vinegar they offer you. The burrito itself is pretty big and I had trouble finishing it in one sitting so if you’re not starving I recommend sharing this with someone. My husband got the pork sisig with white rice and added on an egg for an extra dollar. I tried some of his meal and it was good, the jalapeños and onions it was topped with made it seem like more of a Tex-Mex dish to me than Filipino. Be sure to add an egg to this– it was waay better tasting with that as an add on. Being a fusion truck, this meal didn’t fulfill my craving for authentic Filipino food but it definitely was satisfying. If I happen to stumble upon this place next time I’m in SF I would probably get something(different) here again but I wouldn’t go out of my way to actively look for this truck. In my opinion, it was a little pricey for a food truck, but the portions were a very decent size so I really shouldn’t be complaining.

Tried Señor Sisig at Off The Grid: Civic Center. Pretty good. I’ve never actually had Filipino food before so I have no idea what Filipino food tastes like, but Señor Sisig reminded me really of just Mexican food. I guess it’s Asian Fusion, but I’m not sure what part of it was Filipino. Still solid though. I think it’s generally known for its burritos, but I went with the SISIGSALAD($ 9) instead. Pretty basic: lettuce, pico de gallo, cilantro cream sauce, shredded cheese and either chicken, pork or tofu. I got mine with chicken, which was pretty good. I think it was the pico de gallo that made the salad seem very Mexican though. Pretty pricey, as is with all food trucks. Everything is pretty much $ 9, but after tax and tip, it comes out to be $ 11+.

I want to like this bad because I love Filipino food, but this didn’t live up to my expectations. Had the sisig with fried garlic rice and a sisig taco. Man, could they be just a tad less generous with the chili peppers? There’s so much green on my plate that I don’t even see the meat underneath. A bite into everything, all I taste is excessive spice or excessive salt. No real flavor from the meat. I handle spice well but the green peppers just masked what little flavor the meat actually had. This is Filipino food, I expect the right blend of grease, fat, saltiness, spice, and flavor. Sisig misses the wide of the mark. Looks like I’ll continue making my trips out to Daly City when I have the Filipino food cravings.

Except for a select few(The Chairman, KoJa Kitchen, No Worries Filipino Vegan, Adam’s Grub Truck, and Frozen Kuhsterd) most non-taco trucks pretty much suck. Most are overpriced, serve skimpy portions, and are mediocre at best. However, we’re always at SoMa StrEat Food Park because they’re dog friendly so we suck it up and pay for overpriced mediocrity. Señor Sisig use to be one of my top 7 reliable trucks… until last week. I guess that’s what being on Guy Fieri’s Triple D does to you. And, we all know he has such awesome taste in food like his hair. We ordered the Señor Sisig Burrito w/an egg(«silog it») to share and it looked and tasted nothing like the burrito that I once enjoyed: . The size has shrunk considerably and they now put shredded lettuce in the burrito as a filler. Putting lettuce in a burrito is a cardinal sin. Warm wilted lettuce? Disgusting. The rice was bland and as dry as a 90 year old’s whooo haaa. The meager amount of «sisig» wasn’t even sisig. I never expect daly city authenticity from this truck since it’s fusion but this was straight black peppered strips of pork. No hint of garlic, onions, or lemon. This is sisig for people who have zero clue what Filipino food is and/or should taste like. What pissed me off was we paid to add an egg and didn’t even receive a whole egg. We received a nickel-sized piece of an egg white with yolk smeared on it(in my half of the burrito). What the heezy?! Mr. NSS is not even remotely picky when it comes to food but he barely even touched his half of the burrito. This is a man who eats 10 day old leftovers and would have his bachelor’s party at Denny’s! I don’t mind paying for good food but this was a complete waste of $ 11. P. S. — Don’t take your Lola or Lolo here unless you want them removing the fork from their wall and coming after yo ass.
