Service is horrible at this place. The women who work here are NOT friendly and think they are doing us a favor! Pizza is ok… too thick I think. Their quiche is nasty and coffee isn’t bad but service kills this place.

I used to work right by here and had this pizza often enough. It’s one of my favorites. At its best it’s awesome and my brain extols the virtues of its wondrous crust and yummy pepperoni. At its worst it’s not much to get excited about. It’s real hit or miss here unfortunately. It’s cash-only and I rarely carry cash so before I make a trip to the ATM downstairs, I take a peak at the pizzas first to see if they look appetizing that day. Pizza’s usually quite greasy and you’ll benefit from letting it drip for a few seconds if the pizza is warm. If you’re not careful of how you hold it while you’re eating it, you’ll end up with grease running down your hand. The crust is thicker than most, in my opinion, and doughy(yayyy!) but definitely not soggy. VERY filling. The crust is also yummy tasting, kind of like fresh italian bread. The pepperoni is crisp and tasty. A good slice if you like this kind of pizza but not convenient outside of work hours and if you don’t live/work nearby. I don’t even think they are open on Sundays at all.

If you like abrupt counter service, bad lighting, and knowing that you’re surrounded by people either trying to save people’s lives or hoping that a loved one will make it through the night, this is the place for you. That being said, for some reason, the pesto pizza, with plenty of red pepper and Parmesan, is a revelation. I can’t explain it, but there it is. My taste buds are very bad liars. My issue is with the service. I work close by and come often, and not only are the women who work the counter not particularly friendly, but today I gave them $ 22 for $ 11.75 worth of food and she gave me $ 9.25 back, insisting I only gave her $ 21. There’s no good reason I would have done that, as anyone who hates having extra dollar bills lying around(bartenders, strippers, you know who you are) would know. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth, one that was only partially removed by the delicious pesto pizza. I guess now I have to be that jerk who counts out the bills as he hands them over, but I suppose everyone has to be that guy some time.

pizza is okay. nothing spectacular. Every slice is $ 3.50 regardless of what kind it is.

i dunno what yous smokin’ but the pizza is bomb. not too thick, not too thin, and tasty. i just really love the pizza dough. it never gets soggy and it never gets tough. it’s just the way i like it(not heavy on the sauce and cheese), and there’s no other pizzeria that makes em this way. call me crazy but i’d rather get a slice here than Little Star. then again, I’m not a fan of deep dish. oh, and you gotta try the strawberry slushie … it tastes like fresh strawberries.

Yes, it’s a café in a food court on a hospital campus. Expectation management is taken into account in this review. Their pizza isn’t horrible, but it’s not good, either. There’s plenty of sauce and cheese, and they’re both flavorful, but I found the sauce way too sugary. The crust is a little too thick, but respectable. Prices are reasonable.
