Yeee — home Rx delivery all over SF: at the risk of sounding dramatic, this place saved my life. It’s raining, it’s pouring, I have a fever, I’m tired, I have work to do, I do not want to leave home but I need my Z-pack wayhhhh! Sure, I could have gone out there and risked the chance of getting sicker, or asked a loved one to come over after work and risk the chance of getting sick as well. Or, I could have done what I did and then told you about it(: So, what I did was a simple Unilocal search for prescription delivery services in my neighborhood: asked and received. This-is-why-I-love-Yelp!!! My insurance is covering everything but the co-pay and tip. I am so happy right now. If I had any outstanding scripts, I would download their online form and transfer them. Seriously, I think it is so stupid when you’re sick, contagious, go to the doctor where other sick people have been, get a script, then run around town picking up stuff your Dr. told you to get, while getting other people sick. Sick + contagious people shouldn’t be running around town and waiting in lines, or sending their loved ones to hang out in lines where other sick + contagious people are sick and contagious(ick). If you are sick + contagious stay home!!! I only get sick once a year and avoid western medicine like the plague. However, today I am desperate to kick this bug, even if it means antibiotics. Today, I totally lucked out in avoiding the rain and lines, by having my meds delivered to my home. You my local friends lucked out in that I am not running around coughing on everyone and thing — being all sick and contagious around town — thanks to Unilocal + Script. ETA for Z-pack: 2 hours 15 min while I wait in bed. ATA3 hours and I don’t care because I rather be home sick than out in the rain. Note: they don’t carry Zinc Lozenges =(

I work in the same building and hoped to get a good price on some medications for my BF since he does not have insurance. The woman who works there had always been very friendly and helpful when I have had questions in the past, I was looking forward to giving them my business. Despite how great their customer service skills are, and how personable they have been in the past I am only giving them 3 stars because they quoted me $ 230.00 for some pills. In fact, I said, «Wow! That is a lot more expensive than I thought it would be, I looked online and found a price for $ 40» The woman said, «I bet you it was a Canadian Pharmacy, they can charge a lot less, but believe me, I have worked at other Pharmacies too and the price we are quoting you is very good, but I will talk to the owner and see if we can give you a better price, especially since you work in the building.» She asked for the the name of who I worked for, I saw the owner come in and he said, «Oh, yes I know who she works for! I left to give them time to speak in private and not put any pressure on him, when I came back the woman said he could give me a deal at $ 220.00. I called my BF and asked him what he thought, he suggested we call our friend who works at the Pharmacy at Walmart to confirm it’s a good deal. She wasn’t working, but I asked the man who answered and he quoted me $ 35, I asked if he was sure, he said yes. I then called Walgreens which is closer to my office than Walmart and they quoted me the same price $ 35!!! Maybe a good place to go if you have insurance but if not, I would definitely do your research a head of time.

This pharmacy is conveniently located within the 490 Post street, medical/dental building. The customer service is very personable, and the staff are very compassionate. Unlike bigger drugstore pharmacies, they take the time to follow up on things in a timely manner. They really helped me out when I had a difficult time getting a prescription for my child.
