Thank you Associated Students for bringing this to SF State. It’s always a Thursday treat to come out and visit the market. The vendors are nice and provide customers with samples. My go to spot is Love Healthy Foods’ granola. I’ve had the opportunity to make my rounds with the variety of flavors and I have to say my top two are the vanilla almond and banana. So crisp and fresh in flavor, goes well with cereal, or even just as a casual snack. I also appreciate the occasional tabling of organizations/programs, promoting health, wellness, and safety.

I absolutely looooove this farmers market. It’s like the cities nicest people were all just dropped off in one area on a mega bus. Ok maybe I’m being a little dramatic but I can’t help but get excited every time I go! I know I know. This may sound a little cray cray but hey if you don’t believe me go check it out for yourself. First you have to start off with the coffee from the man with the gas oven and kettle pour overs. He just cheers you up and kills you with kindness. Then you eat all the yummy fresh foods and buy more produce to bring home! Nom noms all day long.

This is actually a pretty decent farmer’s market for a college campus. It’s located right behind the creative arts building and in front of the HUM. They are here from around 10 or 1030 and closes up at 3. They sell fruits, veggies, flowers, bread and other baked good here too. Kingdom cupcakes and donna’s tamales are always on campus every thursday. This is great for the students to pick up fresh produce esp if you live on campus. I wish the market was larger. Usually the kettle corn place is the last stand the pack up.

I bought some really fresh strawberries from here and some Orchids. I wish farmers market was a tad bit bigger.

Unfortunately for a farmer’s market, it’s really lacking in the choices you have. But it can also be said that it’s a farmer’s market right on campus every thursday. What you sacrifice in options you gain in convenience. There’s also a bunch food trucks. It’s a great idea, though I wished it was more than just Thursdays

Majority of the stands come from different cities such as the Kettle Korn stand all the way from Vallejo. So thanks for coming from an hour drive away guys! Hope they can get more stands before I graduate.

I really love that the SFSU campus has a farmer’s market! I just wish it was larger! There are only a few fruit stands and venders(fewer than 10 total), and if you go every week you stop running out of places to explore. Also, with such limited options, there are times when I can’t find anything I really want, or there will be something I’m looking for that the two produce stands don’t have. Still, the quality of the stuff here is very good, and I think it’s great that all the people living on campus have a place to go to stock up on organic produce. I also think it’s so nice to have the food trucks here to break the monotony of the few decent places we have on campus(and let me tell you, they are FEW). So, I definitely look forward to Thursdays and a nice change in my lunch routine. Added bonus: Some of the places take credit cards!

Every Thursday, SFSU All Organics Farmers Market is right in front of the humanities building. They have a few vendors that sell kettle korn, orchid flowers, accessories, fresh fruits and vegetables, and pies. The bread vendor likes to give out samples which is a plus cause you can get something to eat for free while walking to class. Funny thing is that I met up with my boyfriend here on our first date. He didn’t know where the City Eats diner was so I met him here and it was such a windy day that day that the oranges fell on the floor. Long story short, this farmers market reminds me of my boyfriend lol

I love this farmer’s market! its conveniently located right on campus and all the vendors are super nice. It has expanded in the last couple months and now includes kettle corn, spices, and pies alongside the original fruits and vegetables, delicious breads, and AMAZING hummus and pita. The bread place has lots of yummy samples, the fruits are well priced and sometimes the guy who works there will give you a free fruit if he sees you’re having a bad day, and the guy who works at the hummus stand is also really personable and lets you try as many different products as you’d like. go support a great market and get some amazing deals :)

I look forward to Thursdays because I can stop by the farmer’s market before I go to critically think at 2pm. Three things you need to know about the farmer’s market: 1. The Mediterranean foods boy is really cute… and charming. I’ll buy hummus from you any day, man. 2. The pastry chef’s stand is SUPER delicious. His tarts and panna cottas BLOWMYMIND. 3. The fruit stand sells deliciously sweet fruits I can either snack on during class or take home after class. I just wish this would expand with more vendors… I would love this so much more.

Love this place! I wish there are more varieties and more vendors so there are more selections for me to shop. However, I just read something on the news paper saying that they are currently not doing so well because this location is the least profitable or even losing money. The owner says that they will stay as long as they can because they love talking to the customers and the students. I hope there are more students supporting them so that they will be able to stay in SFSU for a long time…

Every Thursday as I scurry to class I always make time to stop by and sample a few things at SFSU’s small farmers market. Right now, the market sets up alongside the Humanities building adjacent to Creative Arts and there’s usually three or so canopy tents for the vendors. I really hope they expand in the near future because for busy students slash interns slash volunteers slash club presidents slash part time employees like me don’t have much time left over to shop for groceries, especially finding local and organic produce, and it’s nice to get them fresh and straight from the source. There’s a decent variety of fruit, but not so much with the vegetables. Lots of samples and you don’t have to fight off other shoppers or wait to pay like those certain free-for-all crowded farmers markets.

It’s great that it’s all organic but there’s only 2 stands. I hope it expands soon. Everything that I’ve bought here has been delicious. Super pricey but delicious. The fresh pomegranate juice calls to me but it’s like $ 6 for an odwalla sized bottle. Yikes!

Good fruits, They have really good citrus from a man named Jimmy. He’s very nice, and sells AMAZINGORANGES. I’m not kidding, AMAZINGORANGES! I got a bunch, an ate them all the first day I bought them. The ony thing about SFSU farmers market is that it could be bigger and cheaper(oranges are oohh weee, but 2 dollars a pound, I’m what you may call frugal, but I still am willing to splurge at get my oranges from Jimmy). It’s new, so that means it’ll be expanding, when it does I’m going to post an other star.
