I ordered oysters to-go pre-shucked. They were $ 1.50 each, and were delicious and so much bigger than what I’ve ever gotten at either Waterbar or Hog Island! I will definitely come back!

This used to be a great spot for casual dining. The crab burrito used to have so much meat inside but now, not only did it get smaller but it’s All eggs. It should be called an Egg burrito. Prices have gone up but the quality has gone Way down! I won’t be going back.

Were being tourists and visiting the Ferry Building. A friend of ours remembered that he loved his fish sandwich here so we stopped by. I ordered the crab cakes and they were very very good. Wife ordered fish and chips and they were outstanding. I love my fish and chips and this might be amongst the best I’ve had. Not a ton of seating but we were able to find a table shortly after eating. Would definitely return.

Very good fish and chips and amazing shrimp salad. The staff was super friendly and even though it was busy, the wait for food was short. We ended up eating here 3 times during our 10 day trip. We ordered our fish and chips and went out back to eat on a bench by the water. Each savory crispy bite of fish dipped in tarter sauce melted in my mouth. The shrimp salad was awesome! They have fresh oyster specials later in the evening and some frozen seafood entrees to bring home. My husband said the oysters were tasty.

Ordered Dungeness Crab Burrito. A very small skinny burrito in which you can only taste eggs. $ 15 is too much for a tiny burrito which taste like eggs.

Coconut shrimps were overcooked and did not taste fresh. Agua Fresca was delicious, fish and chips were fine, smoked salmon burrito was quite flavorless. Would not recommend eating here, but they sell seemingly fresh fish!

Working right next to the ferry building has been a great way to try different things. 1. Crab Cake Sandwich — Very tasty — A lot of Crab — Fries on the side(4 $) are huge so plan to share 2. Crab Breakfast Burrito — Super yum –They cut it in half and then wrap it. I find it makes the tortilla soggy becuase of the grease pouring out of it. Not sure If thats from cooking the eggs. Id say easy on the oil next time. — Its basically an omelette of green onions, and crab. Added avocado wrapped together. Very good

My best friend took me here because she absolutely swore by the food and said it was the best PO’ boys she ever had. Sure, why not?! For her birthday, we went here because I know she enjoyed it. I liked the food for the most part. We ordered the crab cake sandwich, but the patty was pretty dry to me. I ordered the Oyster Po Boy and it was mostly bread. I could hardly taste the oysters so that was extremely disappointing considering the price point. My favorite thing about the meal was the fries. It was fried to golden perfection! It was delicious. Don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon. If I’m in the area, I may give it another shot, but I won’t go out of my way to have their food. It’s San Francisco! I’m sure there are many other amazing locations that serve the same thing. Gotta step it up!

Fresh fish, decent prices. My first restaurant to try in the Ferry Building. I didn’t have much time to sit down and eat before the Giants game this morning. The clam chowder was okay, tasted better elsewhere but my Sea Bass sandwich with Chimichurri(sp?) was good. Fresh fried sea bass, chimichurri sauce, lettuce and a soft roll. Excellent. Ahi Tuna Poke was on par with other places i’ve tried. If you’re looking for fresh seafood and fresh oysters, check out the SF Fish Co. Good stuff.

It’s hard to miss the San Fransisco Fish Company when you’re strolling through the Ferry Building. They usually have an employee at the front of the house with buckets of ice topped with fresh clams and oysters. These $ 2 bites are the perfect addition to any food lovers journey through the Ferry Building and are even available at early morning hours as a breakfast protein! Top your bite-sized snack with lemon juice, cocktail sauce or the atomic horseradish – be be warned, it’s HOT!

Current ratings underrate how great this place is. Oysters are $ 2 at all times and are the freshest, by far largest, and most delicious from what I’ve had in all of SF. Churn rate is high as well so you keep on getting the freshest available. By far the best deal you can get and if you factor into the fact that these oysters are HUGE, served quickly(no line, no wait), it just remains unclear to me why there aren’t rave reviews. Highly recommended.

We were looking for some lunch during the Super Bowl event and came to the Ferry Building. The Fish Company was a lucky find as our sandwiches were fresh and delicious. We had breakfast burrito, fresh oysters, Po’ Boy sandwich and a cup of clam chowder. All were fresh and tasty. Portions weren’t huge, but a nice size with a small side of delicious coleslaw. I love this place because it has great fresh oysters, shrimp and exotic fish. The oysters are a must. Super fresh, ice, has several molhinhos that you can put them at the disposal. For those who like oysters is a full plate. Service was good despite being a busy Saturday. There is little place to sit, if it is full you can order takeout and sit at the pier while enjoying the beautiful view and lovely weather. Would definitely recommend if you’re at the Ferry Building doing some browsing.

They had a special on oysters, $ 2 per oyster and they were from different regions, so we got a few. Yummy. They had some seating so we snacked on some tasty oysters.

$ 2 oysters! Found this place by mistake, was walking through the ferry building, saw a table selling oysters with $ 2 sign. I’m not sure of this is their happy hour prices but it was Friday around 5 or 6ish in the evening. He was offering 2 types oysters and clams. We order 2 of each. Cocktail sauce, lemon, horse radish set out on the side to put onto your oysters. The man wasn’t very friendly with us or other customers. This place isn’t very fancy, looked more like a seafood area in a grocery but with some high table tops. Don’t except fancy silverware, just paper plates, and plastic utensils. But the oysters and clams were pretty good and fresh. I’m giving 3 stars because the man selling the oysters wasn’t very friendly, wish they had silverware or plastic silver wear set out. Other than that if you looking for cheap oysters while in the ferry building and you don’t want to spend a lot at hog island come here!

Had their oysters at the farmer’s market. They were very fresh and only $ 2 a piece. The lady working the table seemed very unhappy to be there. We also got an order of hot and fresh fish and chips that was very yummy.

I am only rating the oyster/clam stand on the outside… have not been inside to their establishment. They had 2 dollar oysters on Saturday and my friends and I bought 8, 2 each. They got the creamier oysters and I got the less creamier… From our experience the non-creamy oysters are the best. If you’re looking for quick oyster snack, check this place out! Great pit stop if you are shopping at the ferry building!

Do you want to avoid the 30 minute line at Hog Island and their $ 3-$ 4 oysters? Here’s your alternative! San Francisco Fish Company has freshly chucked $ 2 raw oysters and cherrystone clams!!! I haven’t tried anything else but the oysters are good enough to make me come back. Usually they have the Royal Miyagi and the Fanny Bay but they also have Evening Cove and Blue Point sometimes. Once you spot the oyster stand as you’re walking through the Ferry Buliding, ask the friendly server what each oyster tastes like and choose the appropriate ones to your liking. Or go with my option — don’t ask and find out for yourself. After you order, you can put on tobasco, cocktail sauce, or lemon juice which are all lined neatly in front. Then you’re on your way to the next food stop. There are also a few tables where you can savor the taste of the sea so you don’t have to maneuver the shells and paper plate around the bustling crowds and risk spilling the oyster and lemon juice on someone. An important stop for every Ferry Building visit! Warning: the cherrystone clams taste wayyyy stronger than the oysters but it’s worth it to try the clams at least once

Though the dungeness crabs in the tank looks fresh and lively. I was very disappointed by their food. Maybe buy the seafood here but wouldn’t not eat here… pricey and ruins the lovely flavors of seafood with lack of knowledge in the fundamentals of cooking… knowing your ingredients. Ordered the DUNGENESSCRABBURRITO and find my food wrapped in foil the size of a sandwich. I thought we got the wrong order, but when we unraveled it, we found two halves of a very skinny burrito. I hoped it would be good but they got it all wrong by treating it like a Mexican Californian buritto. The eggs and cheese overpowered the DUNGENESSCRAB. The avocado would have been great if it weren’t for the other items. I didn’t spend $ 15 for a half ass burrito. The Cole slaw next to it… they can keep that. I want a buritto with substance.

Decent food, great service! While strolling around Ferry Building, I knew I wanted to get a seafood sandwich of some sort. I looked through a few restaurants and San Francisco Fish Company caught my eye with their oyster and clam table in the front. They had sandwiches ranging from Oyster Po Boys to Crab Cake Po Boys, I ended up getting their Fried Soft-Shelled Crab Sandwich on an Acme Roll.($ 10.95) To start off, the roll was delicious! It was soft and just perfect. The sauce that came with the sandwich paired perfectly with the soft-shelled crab.(Wish they gave me a piece of lemon though!) I did let my sandwich sit for a bit while waiting for my friends to get their meal but the crispiness was still there! As I was eating the sandwich, the crab legs popped out of no-where. Honestly, I was disgusted by it. The legs were the only part that was soggy, and since it was facing out of the sandwich, they were dangling off the side… I recommend them putting the legs on the inside next time! Overall, the cashier that helped me was very nice and gave me a lot of recommendations on the sandwiches! It only took around 10 minutes to make, and it was very fresh. Would come again if I want a quick lunch!

San Francisco Fish Company is a small place inside the famous Ferry Building where everything is(farmers markets, food places, butchers, etc). Service is super quick — you’re in and out. Order, grab a seat, and in like 5 mins your food will be ready! I tried the fish and chips and it was soooo good!!! Fish was so(obviously) fresh and it was fried to golden perfection. Squirt some lemon and dunk them in the tartar sauce! The fish wasn’t like most places where it would come apart after dipping — the flakiness of the fish held its own really well. The fries were crispy and thin(reminded me of Mickey dees mm) :P
