I don’t get overly excited about most people, but I was darned near giddy when I ran into Dr Rhame at More Mojo Studios after I hadn’t seen her in years. I started seeing her perhaps 15 or so years back, and I’d been so sad when she’d moved out of state. But that day at More Mojo, it was like a ray of sunshine had come back to town. About Sam: she’s professional, knows her stuff, wont have you growing old in the very comfortable waiting area while you’re wait for your appointment to start, etc. That stuff matters. So does this: She’s amazing. She’s so warm that she feels like an old friend, even when you first start seeing her. She’s passionate about her work, and you can feel it.(It matters when the people who help you care for your body are just as invested in your well-being as you are.) She has – and I’m going to show my California roots here – amazing energy. Yeah, I know – but it’s true. Some people just have a great vibe. Dr. Rhame is one of those people. She’s a lovely person and fantastic chiropractor. Go see her. You won’t be disappointed.

A quick note about Dr. Sam Rhame and light therapy. I have to confess, I was a skeptic that light was going to help me with a persistent shoulder injury from biking/swimming(training for a triathlon). I still don’t really understand how it helped, but it did. The very first time I did a session with the light therapy, there was an instant improvement. Sam got me through the end of my training and the race — I don’t know that I could have done it without her help!

Since Sam has been adjusting me, my running has improved and I’ve noticed that my legs don’t ache after a long run like they used to. In fact, they never ache and they used to whenever I spent a long time on my feet. Of course, my back pain is gone as well! Sam is a true healer who really cares about her patients. I highly recommend her!
