We saw Zach’s handy-​work at a family-member’s home and were impressed by the transformation. When we bought our own place with a yard that needed a LOT of help, we called on Zach to work some magic. He was thoughtful, provided the guidance we needed in artistic and practical choices, and produced a beautiful result that is still doing great three years later (despite the drought). Zach still takes the time to follow-​up with us and is an all-​around wonderful landscape artist and human being.

Zach is a wizard. He took a heaping pile of dirt and transformed it into an eye-​popping garden. Very easy to work with — we talked about ideas, did some drawings, picked plant palette, and voila. The finished product is the best thing about our house: decomposed granite ringed by artfully-​placed brick border, flanked by some of the most interesting plants anyone has ever seen. Relatively low-​maintenance too. His horticultural knowledge is really second to none.

Zach took our disaster of a yard and turned it into a sanctuary worthy of nobility. He has a keen understanding of how to best use and integrate irregular features. A great use of our space as well, all of it done in an eco-​friendly. And he is super easy to work with to boot! Recommend him to anyone looking to redesign their garden or outdoor space. You won’t be disappointed.
