Round Table Pizza

I came here once and they put a lot of cheese I don’t know but I don’t like it. I’ve work in a round table trust me if I go again I’ll will end up doing my own pizza lol

Love roundtable pizza it’s the best! I was in the area and stopped by This location with some friends. It was awesome. The draft beer was ice cold and the flat bread pizzas tasted like they were from a gourmet restaurant I will definitely be back to this spot. Two thumbs up!

I stopped by the Round Table location on the Excelsior Mission Street location today May 26^th. When I got there it was the lunch buffet window and they had put out fresh cold salads and Fresh selection of pizzas to choose from. Advisable to get there before noon. can be busy at buffet area. :)
I wanted to express how one of the employees today made my morning from a frown to a smile. Her name is Maria and her customer service is OUTSTANDING!!. She handles the cash register phone orders, cleaned up tables, and made sure floor areas were tidy and clean. I really do hope Round Table Management do read these reviews. this young lady deserves a acknowledgement of her hard work for your company. :)
Because of employees. Like Maria working here I will diffently make a point to return and dine in.

Their lunch buffet is great for seven bucks. Their pizza is fine for delivery. I totally recommend this location.

Order delivery and pizza got to me in 1hr 40min. Definitely Slow on their delivery service, other than that pizza was great.

We are behind the Cow Palace in a secured condo complex. I have always had delivery from this particular RT with no issues whatsoever. Delliveries have been timely and consistently good pizzas. No complaints whatsoever with that.
The other day I called and ordered my usual. She took my order and when my number showed my address, she said the driver told her they do not deliver to this area anymore. What? She said the last time I ordered was in 2013 and since then, they apparently took our area out. She told me to try Top of the Hill RT. I did. Same thing: no delivery to this address. They told me to try San Bruno Avenue RT… Guess what!!! Same excuse. WTF!!! When I tried online ordering, not one RT showed delivery available. I gave up on the pizza but not with my frustration of this experience.
I emailed RT customer service and sent them a snail mail. Told them if they do not resolve this, I have more than enough time to send a letter every week for as long as it takes! I would even consider legal opportunities to question their WE DELIVER promise.
Well, I did receive a response in two days. They have contacted this RT to make sure my address is placed in their delivery system. Only my address apparently.
I did respond with my satisfaction for myself and my family but what about the over 200 other owner occupied units? Why are they getting the bum deal for whatever reason any RT will not deliver here?
My next plan of action is contacting this RT directly to see what is happening and why deliveries here have stopped in the first place.

Today, we had a big video taping at the studio and my Round Table Pizza of choice near the studio is the Mission/​Excelsior Mission Street location. I had used them for previous tapings without a hitch.
I learned that there was a new owner, Mike Digneo. It was important that the order for the 15 large Italian Artisan Pizza were hot and ready on time for the tapings.
Mike and his crew were on target.
The orders were flawless and exactly on time and timing is everything — All 150 participants at the taping loved the new Italian Artisan Pizza and it wouldn’t have gone so smoothly without Mike and his team’s execution.
I highly recommend Mike’s Round Table Pizza on 4523 Mission Street, San Francisco… see for yourself!

I went there for the pizza buffet, there was only one pizza that looked like it had been for a long time. I asked for a fresh pizza and they said they were not allowed to make another one until someone finished that one.

Wait! Don’t order delivery, I took over an hour to have it delived within a mile radius from them! Let me also add that this was on a regular non game day night to get a pizza from here. When it arrived it was cold and we had to reheat the pie. Ouch! Watch out!

This review is for their delivery service. I see the mixed reviews, but we have actually had consistently good service with this location. A couple times a month I order the large meat lover’s pie and boneless wings for my son and a friend. The first two times I had friendly service on the phone. The last two I ordered online. The pizza came quick, the order was correct, and the pie was not soggy at all (I hate that!) and the pepperoni was just slightly crisp, which to me is perfect. They always get here fast and the pizza looks and tastes great. The boneless wings are the usual frozen ones but you’re not going to get anything else with a chain, don’t kid yourself. Teenage boys love them. I decided it was time they got a five star review. I grew up with Round Table and have always loved the cheese they use the best. They get five stars for consistency. It may be that because we order on Tuesday afternoons when it’s not busy that it’s so reliable and good. Kids are happy so mom is happy.

Overpriced but I’m a sucker for the BBQ chicken pizza and the twists…

I tried garlic twists for the first time and I think they were really good. Just enough garlic, cheese, and crunch. I ordered a pepperoni pizza to-​go. Next time I’d try something in the special since the size of pizza matters more than the order itself in terms of pricing (not sure). I had a friendly interaction with the manager and his father, they took the initiative and asked if I wanted to drink anything while waiting for my takeout order. It gave me a good impression of the staff service because of the manager and his father.
I believe staff service is a lot better in person than over the phone/​deliveries, based on what other reviewers are saying.

I was glued to the TV watching the Giants beat the Royals in the World Series. Not wanting to take the time away from the game to cook I decided to order a pizza. I ordered from this Round Table and they said they were pretty busy but promised my pizza would be delivered within an hour. The Pizza arrived early (~45 minutes) and was hot and bubbly but the crust was still a little doughy.

I write this review as I sit here 40 minutes after they told me to show up to pick up my pick up order. They guy just looked at me with a blank face when I asked him again for my order. Lots of flys. Total shit show. Everything here is NO.

After two hours of wait for delivery, had no choice but canceled the order. Sales rep said they only have one driver and nothing they can do. If you time is important and you want nice, hot pie steer away from this place

They have done a good job with delivery although they forgot to include Parmesan cheese with my last order even after I told the girl twice. They honor my coupon deals so that is good. Their boneless breaded chicken product is no better than a freezer quality brand from the grocery store.
They are sort of shady with their calculations of totals. I get the same thing all the time and lately (maybe it is a new employee?) they give me a different total each time I ask. I then have to tell the girl the total of my order as it was countless times before and then she drops it to the right price. Wth?!! Shady.
However their pizza is delicious.

We ordered two pizzas that weren’t that complicated:
— 1 Large Chicken and Garlic gourmet: no red or green onions
— 1 Medium Wambo Combo
Delivery time was estimated 1 hour and 15 minutes but came in about an hour. The delivery guy was pleasant, so we gave him a nice tip for being so.
However, we find both of ours pizzas were totally wrong. What was supposed to be a large chicken and garlic gourmet, ended up having everything we didn’t want (the red and green onions) and missing a very important ingredient… the chicken. Basically a veggie pizza with white sauce.
Next, the Wambo Combo was missing the green and red onions, so it was basically a meat lovers pizza.
We looked at the receipt, it clearly stated our order correctly but the pizzas didn’t match.
We were too hungry to call and wait for a replacement so we settled on just eating them. Not really a good way to end the night but at least we ate a warm meal.
Order from them again? Don’t think so.

My first piece of pizza EVER was from Round Table. To this day it remains one of my favorites because of it’s consistent deliciousness. It is, however, on the expensive side for a chain pizza restaurant. Fortunately, I had a groupon deal, $ 10 for $ 20, which was about to expire and I called in to use it on the last day. It was for dine-​in only, but when I called in to order ahead of time and I told them of the coupon details, they said it was no problem for me to just pick up if I wanted. Sweet!
The guy who took my order was nice and fast. He told me it would be ready in 10 minutes. I was already driving my way to their location. When I got there (about 10 minutes later… mind you this was in the middle of the day on a Monday) my pizza was JUST coming out of the oven! Perfect and accurate.
A woman rang me up and was well versed with how to redeem my certificate. She promptly took my pizza from the oven, sliced it up and handed it over. I wasn’t there for more than 5 minutes! I checked the pizza once I climbed into my car and I could NOT RESIST taking a snap shot (it’s posted, so take a look). It was SO FRESH, all the ingredients, especially the zucchini, were just glowing with quality. I even ate a slice on my way home. YUM!
I just finished the left overs for lunch today and it was STILL a delicious meal. I already like Round Table, but this location really sealed it for me. I knew I’d made the right decision buying that discounted cert in the first place. What a treat!

I think that if I don’t receive a call back from the owner, as the store Supervisor promised, I won’t let up like many others have. In this day, when so many respectful folks are without jobs, dealing with employees like the delivery guy we had tonight is beyond unacceptable… its border line ‘delivery ass whooping’ time”. His initial attitude, as he stepped up to MY door, was indignant and entitled, which led my sister to suggest he smile, saying, «are you having a good day?»,…now, what came next still has me baffled: «no, not if you’re going to give me a 4.00 tip.».
WHAT the ?/​($??? First of all, shut your damn mouth and save the gripes about tips for your fellow employees and never question those paying your salary by patronizing your place of employment. #2. That 4.00 tip is the percentage commonly given a server in a restaurant for good service, refilling drinks, making sure I have all I need, and providing service with a smile…20 got-​damn percent.
You, my delivery friend, should lose your gig and let someone else, who needs and appreciates a job. You are rogue, and will cause our boss to lose his business. How do I foresee this… the evening supervisor says that this isn’t the first occurrence, and that this is possibly the fourth or fifth time.
Hello, Round Table? Are you there? Doesn’t look like any customers here have been taken seriously. Sounds like they like your product… is it too much to hear your customers, who’s neighborhood you do business in?
I COULD NOT SAVE AND EXIT WITHOUT GIVING A STAR– for the record, this star was forced on me.

Always had childhood memories at round table. I remember when they had their old location closer to the Walgreens where a McDonald’s used to be.
They also had the arcade with Area 51 and a couple of racing games rotating in and out like San Francisco rush.
Anyone else remember the older wooden setting tables that were kinda taller than most folks (hence separating anyone from view)?
