This is by far the worst, most unprofessional doctor experience I’ve ever had. I would give them zero stars if I could.
I made an apt a while back to do some allergy testing. Their office is old, dirty and moldy — this is unacceptable for an allergy office. I felt like my allergy was getting worst just being there.
They told me that my allergy testing was covered by my insurance and there were no extra cost in additional to my copay. That was incorrect info. The insurance company billed me and when I called and ask them why since they said it was covered, the office lady was super rude, unhelpful and kept on denying that they ever said that. If the testing isn’t covered by the insurance, just say so, they lie to me!
After that experience, I decided to change allergy doctor and asked them to send my records to the new doctor. They sent it but not my test results. I called them and ask them to send everything and the office lady was like, we don’t have anything on file for you. You didn’t do any testing at our office. I was like, ARE YOU CRAZY! Yes I did because I paid for it! After 15 minutes of arguing with me, she informed me that maybe the office I got testing at (which is their office) didn’t input the files. My testing was done months ago and it’s not on file? Really? That’s bullshit!!! Again, office lady was super rude and unprofessional! I will follow up next week to make sure they send my new doctor everything!
I DO NOT recommend this place. Worst, most unprofessional doctor experience ever!

I cannot recommend this allergist.
I came in to be tested for one specific substance, and made that clear when making the appointment. They did not bother to obtain that substance for testing.
The advice I was given was inconsistent and not helpful.
I left the appointment with less clarity than when I arrived.

Dr. Freinkel is my current doc. I see him in his SF FiDi office. the office is conveniently located (for me at least). he is a great doc. he takes the time to sit and talk to you about your allergy complaints and needs. Like all other allergists, he will probably recommend shots (I’ve never seen one who didn’t), but he’s worked with my to change my medications and treatment to help my quality of life.

Had a couple of appointments with Dr. Freinkel, real nice guy. The appointment was kept right on time and I didn’t fee rushed at all. As far as doctors go, it is all I could ask for. Would be five stars, but the prescription he gave me never really helped with my allergies, but I am setting another appointment, and if he can get me at 100% i will bump it to 5 stars.
