I buy from here a lot now. Their most valuable resource is not the vegetables(which are usually stale), but the TAS coconut water. I did an experiment where I bought one of each brand of coconut water in this store and TAS outdid all of them BY A LONGSHOT. I never thought coconut water could taste so… toasty. A quick search online reveals that TAS is not very well-known but is unanimously rated to be the best coconut water in the world by everyone who is lucky enough to find it. At just $ 1 per small can, it’s a better deal than Amazon. Just remember to use cash to avoid a surcharge.

Five stars? What are you people drinking? Radman’s Produce Market is supposed to be an example of a «Healthy Corner Store,» a half-hearted effort by the City to encourage people in the TL to eat more fruits and vegetables. As you can see from the photos, the produce is not very enticing; in fact, it’s rotting. There was also supposed to be a meat market, but that’s not happening anytime soon. None of the produce in Radman’s was fresh, except maybe the bananas. The apple harvest ended in November, so… Fresh means«harvested last night or this morning, and was not processed, except for washing and chilling.» «Fresh» does not include anything imported from foreign countries, or anything that has been in a warehouse or supermarket storeroom. Nothing in a can, bottle, or package is fresh; how could it be? This includes food bought at «gourmet» establishments. The ONLY reliably fresh produce available in San Francisco is at the farmer’s markets on the day the farmers bring it. According to the Examiner, $ 60,000 was spent on the«Healthy Corner Store» program. I can personally attest that the Mid-Market communities access to fresh food is no better than before the money was spent. The City could have given $ 60K to the farmers at the Heart Of The City market, preventing food waste and ameliorating the transportation costs of these hard working people. Then someone could have consulted with the community on the best way to cook and serve the food, and /or simply given it away.

Awesome corner store that is basically a full grocery store now! The owner is very friendly and they have fresh, inexpensive produce, bulk bins, and are about to open a fresh meat counter. I was surprised by the number of organic items for a great price.

The staff is very friendly here. The store offers a great selection of produce that is maintained well and good quality. They are doing construction and will offer a meat counter in the near future. There are not many produce stores in the area, so this is a great addition to the neighborhood!
