I met a girl by chance at a bar and she was a stylist at Pure Beauty in Laurel Heights. Joy is a sweetheart and wonderful at doing hair! Too bad she’s leaving SF for bigger and better things in NY…
I went there today for a hair consultation to dye my hair silver and turns out Joy had enough time to do my hair right then and there (turned out great, BTW). It turned out better than I had imagined, so stoked. Joy has changed my image for the better. Thinking of being Storm for Halloween!
The place is very clean and chic, makes you want to look at everything and poke around the whole store. The staff is nice and helpful. Joy told me the girl replacing her when she leaves is just as great with hair as she is. I’m coming back to her for root touch ups!
