Pronto Pizza

For a New Yorker this is as best as it can get as long you order just the plain ol’ cheese topping. Their other menu items are not to be ignored. Don’t let the fact that it is run by a Mexican staff, you will get an authentic Italian meal. Also, good delivery service.

Four stars for the fries and only the fries. I don’t care if they’re previously frozen. THESE are the fries that sing to my heart and my arteries. It’s not that weird coated kind that you’ll find everywhere nowadays. Just fries like you used to get from most places 20 years ago.
Skip the pizza and everything else. Get the fries.

I cannot believe how horrible this pizza is. I ordered an xl Pronto combo pizza. Order arrives after an hour (fine). Pizza has maybe 2 tablespoons of cheese on the entire thing. I called Pronto and Nassir first said we had ordered «light cheese» (we didn’t) then said it would take at least 20 minutes for him to get in touch with the manager to resolve the issue. 1.5 hours after the order they might begin to make our correct pizza. Unbelievable that employees are not empowered to correct mistakes on the spot. I have ordered off-​and-​on from this place for 5 years. There is better pizza out there but this place has been good in a pinch. Never again.

Ordered delivery from here twice.
Got the pronto pizza the first time and it was actually really good. I ordered two 1.5L of water with it but they only gave me a small bottle of water.
The second time, we got a bbq chicken pizza, linguine with clams, chicken Alfredo and pizza sub. Everyone enjoyed their entrees.
Not the best food in the world, but would order again.

Pizza was acceptable… once they got the order correct.
On 1÷22÷16, I ordered a hawaiian pizza on thick crust. A very simple order. What they delivered had sausage, pineapple, jalapeños all on a burnt thin crust.
The people there don’t have a strong command of english as I was transferred from one person to another when I called them to have them fix it. I had re-​state the problem and the correct order multiple times.
The order was made on line so there shouldn’t have been any confusion on the order but somehow they managed to mess that up.
When they made moves to correct the order they didn’t even offer anything in compensation for the additional time in delivery and the whole inconvenience.
I emailed the internet service they use…
but they have done nothing yet.

What I Liked:
Super inexpensive. About $ 3 for a cheese pizza and $.50 more for a singular topping.
Customer service was decent.
What I Disliked:
The cheese pizza I ordered was just bread and cheese the sauce ratio was lacking and I wasn’t really a fan of the fluffy dough.
The place was super small but had some really loud individuals just hanging about not really eating just hanging out. Made it super uncomfortable to stay and enjoy my pizza.
Wasn’t the cleanest environment. Seemed liked they didn’t bus the tables often there were discarded coffee cups on the tables and empty parmesan cheese dispenser roaming about.
My friend ordered a pepperoni pizza and had the slimmest looking backed green leaf (could of been spinach) baked into her pizza. It was just so random and slimmy that she didn’t want to finish that slice since it was an unidentified slimmy object…

If you’re not choosy or picky, you can order what’s on their trays, then make a dash for it to home. They’re from another culture, so attitude needs to be put on the shelf somewhere. Got to eat if hungry and let’s say, no place to choose. Some Walgreen worker across the street said they sell drugs here. Who said that? Identify yourself. I’m here for either Hawaiian or Veggie.

1St time and last time i make an order from here
Pizza was cold.
wings were burnt.
Made two orders of salads and only got 1
On top of all that they took more than 1hour to deliver.

Not bad — but not so good either. It is the same price as several really good pizza bakers a few blocks away.
The crust was a little too cracker like and the sauce was almost non-​existent. The cheese was good, but not enough of it. Also the sauce was sparse in quantity and flavor.

Really good grekko pizza I ate in like 2 seconds. Helped me kick my fever I got in china town. (Yuck gettin sick on my vacay)

Super fast! Great pizza & at a great price! We all know how expensive pizza can be… So its nice to find a yummy pizza at a reasonable price! Check it out if your ever in the TL.

I’ve been eating here for 3 years, and I’ve probably gotten 1000+ chicken sandwiches. The pizza isn’t great which is ironic but I will reassure you that the sandwiches are ¹⁰⁄₁₀ and my family from all over always comes to eat their sandwiches! I will always be a regular and their sandwiches are exceptional and I highly recommend. The staff are also very nice, so don’t let the location fool you.

I was in town for the weekend with my daughters girl scout troop. We located your pizzeria in the phone book. We placed an order around 830 p.m. for delivery to the Hilton Union Square Hotel. We ordered 1 extra large cheese pizza, and 1 extra large pepperoni pizza, told eta would be 40 mins. We asked if they could provide us paper plates for 14 people, and they said they would.
930 p.m. comes & our pizza arrives … unfortunately, they got our order wrong !! The delivery guy shows up with 1 extra large half cheese, half pepperoni pizza. We asked him where the other pizza was, and he said he told his boss he needed 2 extra large pizzas, and his boss said no, they only wanted 1 half and half, so he showed up with one. He didn’t bring the plates as promised. The delivery guy offered to bring us another extra large ALL cheese pizza, eta would be 40 mins. We said ok fine.
1030 p.m. delivery guy returns … with 6 paper plates, and a lukewarm half cheese, half pepperoni pizza … which was once again … WRONG !!! And what is even more fucked up … we were still charged for the pizzas … and with that being said, my friend didn’t tip the guy, since the service took forever, and our pizzas were wrong and almost cold.
I will never order from this place when I am in the bay. Pizza was all doughy, sauce had no flavor. Kids were starving, so they ate it no problem, but the adults only ate one slice, and we gave the rest to the homeless outside the hotel.

I saw a dinner special, and when it came time to pay, they would not honor it.
It is wrong to offer a special, and fail to display restrictions. I’m sorry to say the food was almost as bad as the poor customer service.

This is a place that I go when I with my man. It’s just walking distance and it’s the only place that’s open.
It’s is nothing the brag about in here, it’s just a place where you can get a fat slice a n d it’s open till 3am.
But the food is okay, they try to be courtesy but that comes with training. No smiles just «Here, here’s your pizza». They are probably surviving because they are open till very late. But I wouldn’t he running here fron anywhere.

They take over an hour to deliver and then they give us burned pizza. Really not acceptable. I would never order from them again.

Judging by the pizza alone this place would be a 2 star. The pizza was pretty meh. My friend got a slice n i wasnt impressed. Im sure you can find way better.
Luckily for them, I tried the philly cheese steak sandwich, which is actually not bad. Its pretty cheesy and has good amounts of steak. Itll run you for bout 8 bux, which is actually not bad considering the size of the thing. It was bout a footlong so i saved the other half for later.
The place is open late night so thats kind of a plus.

I ordered a pizza online, said I would pick up, pay with cash and in the special comments wrote, «I live across the street, call me when it’s ready». I set the alarm on my phone for 20 minutes. Never received a call, walked over to Prontos, didn’t see my pie on top of the oven and knew we had a problem. The guy at the counter said there was not a pick up order, the guy making the Pizza had one order in front of him, he agreed. I said I know there’s an order I have an email, that’s when counter guy checked and found my order. «We’ll have it for you in 15 minutes» counter guy said. I replied, «You should already have it ready from 20+ minutes ago»!! I walked out, around the corner and had a subway sandwich.
Not sure what the problem is at Pronto, maybe they need to rig their take out order machine with an alarm so when they get an order they are aware of it, twice now they have not made my order! Guess I should have followed my own advice and called to make sure they got the order but instead I think I’ll just take my hard earned money elsewhere. Pronto’s loss is another establishments gain.
