I had an eye issue and emailed Dr. Tom Lietman, who has never seen me, with my question. And he was so kind and sweet and emailed a response even though he was busy working in Ethiopia. Isn’t that just so sweet? He recommended that I see his colleague Matilda Chan. I saw Dr. Chan along with a resident in training and they could not have been nicer or more patient. Dr. Chan patiently explained to me what my issue was and answered all of my questions. I had some difficulty getting the receptionist to get me in however. The receptionist told me that this is a «special» «special» specialty clinic. Anyway, somehow she let me in and Dr. Chan was the best. I really think she is very sweet. And, if you know me, you’d know that I do not often praise my doctors. The only thing is that Dr. Chan only sees patients during one afternoon per week, so it might be hard to get in to see her or Dr. Lietman. Dr. Lietman is super sweet too.
