Pretty average cup of coffee, IMO. I also got a blueberry crumb coffee cake which was pretty good. My wife got a scone, but judging by her silence on the matter, my guess is that it was just average.

After my visit today with Peet’s, I am a forever fan! I usually go in before work to grab a medium coffee and sometimes a bagel. The staff is always super friendly and efficient, but today I was super impressed by two individuals in particular. That would be Chris and Bella!
Two things happened. One, Bella probably wasn’t thinking about the neighbor discount on top of everything else she had to learn and by the time I asked, the transaction was done. She offered to go back and fix it and I said it’s okay, it’s really not a big deal. Chris and Bella had other plans however! Chris offered me a free drink next time I came in which I will definitely use, so I’m very grateful for act of kindness!
Second, I forgot my Vape pen by the register. Realizing this an hour later, I walked back over hoping it was still there and it was!!! To my luck, Chris and Bella spotted it and put it away for safekeeping until I returned! I’m so grateful for their acts of kindness today!
Thank you Chris and Bella! Thank you Peet’s for hiring such exceptional staff!

Pros: Convenient location, OUTLETS, friendly service, restroom, and great music (The Kooks, Iron and Wine, The Cure etc.)
Cons: My vanilla latte was awful. Just awful. Such a bummer.
The place has minimal seating and the tables are small and cramped (just enough space for a laptop).
The floors are dirty. There were multiple areas that had coffee beans, food crumbs, and small puddles of water/​tea/​coffee.

Five stars for the service. Staff was very friendly and offered me one of their own phone chargers when I was in need. Service like this makes all the difference when im chosing a coffee shop. Thanks Peet’s!

Yeah, I get the vibes on Van Ness. Even older folks have to get jobs. Not all Peet’s are the same venue, what you looking for plusses. The one on Pac Heights, could have sworn it was a pickup joint (wink, wink). Breakfast tea is the best, hot; and ice tea, it’s cold.

Normally, I would give Peets a 5 stars but here’s why this location only gets 3.
The man working the register did not know how to scan/​type in a e-​gift card. Yes I understand he’s probably in his 50s/​60s but it shouldn’t be that hard. Maybe Peets need to have a scanner system like Starbucks.
I got a large cold brew but it was not the same as a cold brew I got from a different location. The cold brew I got here tasted just like a normal iced coffee, wasn’t strong at all.
Another reason is the wifi is slowwwwwwwwwwwwww. I was only trying to update some apps on my phone but it was very very slow. Come on guys, upgrade the internet!

My service is always five-​star! It’s the only place willing to brew house decaf for me later in the day… and they do it willingly with a smile– all of the baristas. Channelle always greets me with her dazzling smile, and is always happy to prepare fresh decaf for me! Chris in the mornings is always super friendly, too. I’m always happy to visit this location because the baristas treat me so nicely. I make a concerted effort to walk out of my way to go to this Peets because of the staff’s wonderful service. Whoever the manager is, I commend you on a job very well done.

Erik, or the older man that works there… Straight up rude every time. Thanks sir, I am a personal assistant doing my job getting coffee for my boss and team and using the company card. Sorry about not tipping every time out of my pocket. Maybe the company should add tipping as an option for swipping cards. I don’t feel it’s necessary to mention how annoying office coffee runs are. Last I checked making and taking coffee orders was your job. I’m just doing mine.

The coffee shop has a small café feel where you can easily sit down and get some quality work done. The service was friendly and the amenities were clean.
There is a huge menu with a lot of different blends of coffee from around the world as well different flavoring a to chose from.
We ordered a caramel iced coffee and an oatmeal raisin cookie. The cookie was bomb. It had a brown sugar quality to it that was just so delicious. The caramel iced coffee was refreshing because it didn’t taste like sugar water and you could taste the roast behind the caramel. Wasn’t to sweet but was refreshing and delicious.

Register guy was very up beat and friendly! He must’ve had a couple shots of espresso today. I would two (get it? 2?)…
Coffees just as good as any other Peet’s. Don’t forget to check in for special discounts.

Slowest wifi ever and the place was almost empty.
Kind of dirty too and my drink wasn’t very good.

They put the AC kindof cold inside so that most of the ppl order hot drinks instead of cold drinks. So yeah get a hot drink and you will be ok hangout a lil longer there. And the choices of food are limited tho. I am hungey Peets!!! :x

Peeeeets! Staying at the holiday in close by for couple days tis place was my go to coffee spot, as the hotel brown water doesn’t make the cut.
Nice people work here and the quality is such of Starbucks– nothing to over exaggerate about but it’s there.

I like Peets in general but this location is so inconsistent. It’s close to work for me but thankfully there are other options in the neighborhood.
I always order an iced vanilla latte: sometimes they use the correct amount of syrup, sometimes it tastes like they use half the bottle, sometimes they put foam on top, sometimes they can’t be bothered (the barista with the blue hair never puts foam on top and the one time I asked for it she acted put out about being forced to foam milk). It’s not a tough drink to make!
Also, at least half the time there are one or more dogs in the store, sometimes off leash. This is against health code. If the dog is a service dog, it should be wearing service dog tags issued fromSan Francisco Animal Care and Control and yes, the employees can ask to see the dogs tags. They cannot ask the nature of the disability but they can ask to see the tags. I love dogs but prefer my iced latte without a side of dog hair!

First time at Peets. Called in for a quick cappuccino and muffin.
Pros: Friendly staff, fresh food, fast wifi, lots of seating, nice atmosphere.
Cons: the cappuccino was ¾ foam, not the warmest coffee either.
The British in me didn’t complain but I probably should have. More than likely a one-​off mistake.

Peet’s a a clean and familiar feeling American coffee chain that feels like Burger King to Starbucks’ McDonalds, the Pepsi to Starbucks’ Coke. If there’s one thing that sets Peet’s apart from the almighty ‘Bucks, it’s the above average, friendly staff. I always prefer having a personable human to interact with over an employee who only wants to take my order and my money.
They had a $ 1 off Unilocal Check-​in deal, so check-​in before you order, not after like I did.
They also advertise free WiFi, but I wasn’t able to get it to work.

The good:
The wait staff working there seem friendly and nice. The location is very convenient, and the inside look very new, clean, and cozy. I ordered the plain coffee, which was pretty good – I also see other customers order some of the coffee beans as well, and the wait staff seemed very knowledgeable and recommended many suggestions to the customers.
The bad:
The wifi is total crap. First, neither my phone nor my laptop was able to connect to their wifi for half and hour. Then, when they finally connected to the store’s network, the network didn’t have internet access. What the heck? I wasn’t able to get any internet all the way until the store closed.
Also, what kind of coffee store closes at 8pm???

How strange that I frequently see a Peet’s and Starbucks across from each other. It’s like they really want to see who reigns supreme.
The staff is really friendly and helpful. The place itself is decently sized and clean. I absolutely love the new Raspberry Matcha Freddo. It’s got a hint of raspberry, not too sweet. Refreshing. Plus, if you check in on your handy Unilocal mobile app, you get $ 1 off a Matcha drink! One of the staff members says their Matcha drinks have been surprisingly popular.
