Reasons why I enjoy living here: 1. The Doormen! They are so friendly! 2. Packages are delivered to the front desk– no worries about things getting stolen 3. It’s located in the quiet part of North Beach 4. The gym– it’s small, but has plenty of equipment, is free to residents 5. The building is newer(especially for SF) and does not have plumbing, electrical, or other issues that old residential buildings have 6. The walk to FiDi, North Beach, and other nearby neighborhoods is quick 7. It’s close to some great running along the Embarcadero, up/down the Filbert/Greenwich Steps, and around North Beach 8. It has a parking garage!!! A few downsides: 1. General lack of public transportation(except for the F-line and 82x) 2. Tourists wandering around from the Wharf looking for the Filbert Steps

I lived here in 2010 and it was such a treat! I rented a Jr. one bedroom(AKA an extra large studio). I had a balcony overlooking the courtyard(super quiet) and was lucky enough to the get the perks of a parking spot and a pet friendly unit! It was the perfect first apartment in SF. It’s located on a super quiet street in a super quiet area of the city. You almost feel like you’re not in San Francisco. The security guards were AMAZING when I lived there and I always felt extremely safe. There’s a small gym, garbage chutes, and laundry, as a previous poster mentioned. I would definitely move back here again if my financial situation allows for it. The ONLY con is that it was a bit far from areas of SF that I like frequent; but at that time, I didn’t fully understand the MUNI so that may be a non-factor. Basically, if you’re interested in living here, you’ve made a great choice and you won’t be disappointed!
