Papa John’s Pizza – Cambon

I’d rather find out I have a life threatening disease then order from this establishment again in my lifetime. Where do I start? I used a popular food delivery website to order my food. My order was confirmed and charged by Papa Johns. After calling to ask about my order. The female employee at the restaurant accused me of being a moron and not knowing how ordering pizza works. I felt very belittle and insulted. 3 hours later I finally received a cold pizza. Thanks Papa Johns you guys are really a cesspool for food creation.

I love papa johns! I live close by so i usually pick it up (but on late nights or crazy cold rainy days i get delivery) its my usual go to place for pizza. I have never experienced bad customer service here. Will continue to order from here.

This location is awful. The manager there is a total jerk. I had accidentally set my order for carry out but I had wanted it for delivery. I called and asked to switch and the manager told me it would take 2 hours to be delivered only because they were closing in 30 minutes. I called him out on his lie and he claimed that he didn’t but was extremely rude and unhelpful. Management should probably not just give away management to anyone, especially someone as rude and disrespectful as this guy. Horrible experience.

Today I went to pick up an order that I had placed online. I went well after the time my order was supposed to be finished and the cashier (young white female) told me my order was in the oven. About 15 – 20 minutes later I got up and asked how much longer it would take. She told me that she had mixed up the orders and my pizza was sitting on the counter the entire time… Good job papa johns.

Ordered a large pizza delivery here once. DId it online and got the confirmation that it would take 35 to 43 minutes. So we wait… an hour later, still nothing. I called the place and they said they sent the wrong email and that it was actually an hour to hour and ten minutes for the pizza to come, and that it would be ‘hot and fresh’. Twenty minutes later it comes, and it’s slightly cold. Can’t believe they charge these ridiculous prices for crappy pizza that comes cold and late.

I love this place! Their pizza is tasty & the garlic butter is perfection! I’ve only ordered through eat24 for delivery, and they always seem to take over an hour to deliver (thus my 4 stars). Although, I may always be ordering during peak hours! I did have a very minor issue once, but management was quick to address and resolve. I will continue to order from them when I’m craving delicious pizza!

Consistently great customer service! The woman who answered the phone tonight was very well spoken, professional and thoughtful. Papa Johns has the phone guest service you would expect from a fine dining restaurant or hotel. Keep up the great work.

Fast delivery on a busy night. Included plates and extra garlic butter sauce, one of the few Papa John’s Pizza that does this! One of the better Papa John’s I have ordered from!

Today I picked up a pizza for a Postmates job and I had to wait a bit before it was ready. I was there for about 10 minutes and witnessed something pretty nasty.
One of the employees set the magnetic car topper for delivery vehicles on the counter where pizzas are made. Those things are disgusting and to put it on a counter where food is made? Thank god I wasn’t picking up food for myself.
Also the employee who rang me up was the same person who was making pizzas. Didn’t see him wash his hands either.
Beware of the food from here!

You know people call me crazy for liking them, but I love their chicken and pepperoncini pizza. Love their crust and their sauce. Plus, there’s mad coupons online so don’t pay full price!
Unlike the other local mom-​and-​pop type pizza places I’ve tried, this one actually delivers in a timely fashion. I swear one time I ordered and it got here in less than 15 minutes! I thought it would be an old pizza or was a mistake, but no! Fresh, hot pizza in my hands before I even finished my blunt! I tipped the dude $ 10 because that’s how you handle a pizza place :)

This pizza sucks! I can’t believe how people actually like this place! Maybe I’m not giving it much of a chance because I only tried the cheese pizza as a neighbor had an extra one from a buy one get one free offer but nothing impressed me about it. I only like cheese pizzas that are frozen pizzas and I usually buy some kind of cheese pizza to put in the oven or microwave but I never just get a cheese pizza at a pizza place though! There’s just too many options and good pizza places out there.

I live @ 355 Serrano. I often order afternoon. Always Kris delivers my pizza — on time. I am very happy with the customer service at Papa John’s and the delivery options. Pizza are delusions.

I love the big bonanza. The ingredients are so fresh. And, the garlic sauce is excellent yumnness factor. Its like crack. Im addicted.

I’m so upset. I ordered my pizza at 7:48pm and did not receive it till 9:20 taking over an hour. I had to call to check up on my order and turns out the driver didn’t have my contact information for some strange reason so he couldn’t call me when he arrived. Had I not called to check up on my order I doubt it would have ever arrived. When he did finally arrive my pizza was cold and unappetizing. It is unacceptable and I will no longer be ordering from Papa Johns.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Especially Myra, who took my order. Not only was she rude over the phone (constantly saying «what else do you want?» «Uh huh» instead of «thank you») but when I picked up my order, she walked up to the register texting, stood there with her phone angled up toward her chest as she reluctantly processed the transaction. Clearly she didn’t want to be there and it created a very uninviting experience. The food is decent but because the customer service was extremely rude, I felt this location deserved 1 star.

Pizza is ok here. But after at list 10 times I walked in and ask them do not park their delivery vehicles on the red line. They don’t care! Sometimes hey park almost one yard from the curb, which makes difficult to enter to the Park Plaza shopping center. This community deserves better treatment!
UPDATE:After I drove to the ParkPlaza I noticed that one of the delivery personal just pulled over his car on a Red zone. I asked «Excuse me, I have a question». He said «Yes». Th n I asked my question: «Why you parked your car on the Red zone?». The person just turned around and walked away. No answer! So I parked my car and walked in to Papa John’s Pizza. I assume that the driver told the story to the lady inside the store. But when I entered into the store and just said «Hello», the lady said «You can’t come here with THAT attitude». I said that the only thing that I did was entering and saying «Hello». Than it came to laughable things that I wasn’t the owner of the place and can’t complain about delivery guys parking on the Red zone and I was harassing them and trespassing. So «Get out!». As law obeying citizen I got out of the store. The manager, after about 5 times being asked for her name introduced herself as Olivia. The driver’s name is unknown.

I LOL at the peeps who are so rude to the employees here due to poor customer service and delivery. People like you are the reason why you make their jobs not enjoyable when they clock into work. Do ever consider that they can be under staff? Can’t you get on a freakin bus (bus lines stops around 12am) and get your ass to Papa John’s to pick up your order? Better than waiting 2 or 3 hours for delivery that’s for sure!
I have no problem ordering online and then pick up at the store. Luckily for me I live a walking distance from there but even before I use to live at Ingelside taking the M line. I have no problem with the employees. They always have my orders right. If anything they are on point and busy. They never seem to take a break with all the special offers and stuff!
Pats to you Papa John’s employees! Keep doing your thang!

been waiting over an hour called the dumb asses up to find out my 5 xl pizzas are sitting on a counter getting cold because he says he has no driver. yet a co worker of mine that ordered at the same time and had it sent to the same address has already gotten there pizza.
if its going to the same place why the hell would you make two trips !!!
Never again and thats sad because ive order from this place alot now i will be giving my money to anyone but papa!!!

Worst Service! 9:30pm i called for Delivery and the gentleman on the phone was so rude!
I gave him the Address which is only 7 min away located in Daly City, and he said they don’t deliver there! I tried to talk to him and he was being impolite and kept saying NO NO. Then i called the San Bruno Papa Johns and the nice gentleman behind the phone told me that they should deliver there and told me to call them again and tell them that its in their destination. So i called again tried to negotiate but still Very RUDE and Offensive Saying No then hung up.
The 10 min away San Bruno Papa Johns ended up delivering for me which they weren’t suppose to. It was nice of them!

Don’t waste your time, they won’t deliver on time and you’ll be sitting around starving.
I ordered through Seamless at around 3pm with a future delivery for 6pm. Got my confirmation email and they take the money from my credit card.
6:15, we’re hungry and in a bit of a rush because we have a flight to catch.
Call this joke of a restaurant and ask them what’s up. First girl is one of those people who don’t listen to anything you say and then puts you on hold looking for who knows what because she didn’t listen to you.
Next lady asks for my number in broken english and says «we never got no order from this number EVER».
OKAY. I reiterate that I ordered through seamless. OH. She sees the order and apologizes and says my pizza will be here in 30 min.
Great.
I call back and ask them if they can offer anything else for the inconvenience. She says she’ll send a cinnamon pie. (She should have offered, I shouldn’t have had to ask)
10 min later, she calls and says we’re out of the delivery area. She says they called seamless when they got the order and cancelled it.
I called seamless, they said that Papa John’s didn’t update their delivery radius which is why the order went through and that they didn’t call them about the order or there would be notes.
TL DR They are rude, have terrible customer service, and you’ll never get your food.
