Grew up coming to this place and 27 years later it tastes just as delicious. Perfect place to get your fix of café con pan dulce! It’s family owed and I’m a true believer in supporting local businesses. Mauricio one of the current owners and is always there. He’ll take great care of you! Eat your little dessert soul away at this place — you won’t regret it.

This is an outstanding Salvadoran bakery. The family that owns the bakery is always available to give you helpful tips and to report their favorite items. Today I walked in and ordered my daughter’s favorite, pink ladies, and left with a freshly baked loaf cake with a delicious jam layer on the bottom. SOGOOD with a hot cup of coffee. This is a true family business with owners that are just as warm and lovely as the baked goods they produce. Worth a drive out to the Crocker Amazon neighborhood if you don’t love there already.

The people behind the counter are really nice. Everything I’ve ever tried from here has been great. The prices are good. The owner even gave me some tips on other places I should try when I first moved to the neighborhood and he was pretty much dead on with everything he said.

Pretty good bakery. Lots of Salvadoran treats. I think it’s fun to explore the neighborhood and find freshly baked cookies, rolls, etc. tastes better than prepackaged bakery items at the grocery store and no mess to clean up from baking it yourself! Tried the bridos, pasteles, strawberry yo yo cookie. My favorite. Are the pasteles, which come in lemon, blueberry, raspberry, piña(pineapple), and others. So good with coffee!

This place is great! Great customer service, great prices and exceptional taste/variety. I love almost everything at this bakery, my parents love this place also maybe more than Mexican sweet bread.

Cookies, are delicious!!! Guava, apple, strawberry! And other assorted fillings. The special cookie with the cream/custard filling = to die for! Prices = reasonable. Each cookie is under $ 1.00. I bought 7 for $ 4.90! CASH! Service = friendly. I’ll be back to order a Guava Cake!!!

50 cents each for a guava cookie or a mango cookie. The rectangular El Salvadorean Quesadilla is actually their pound cake. Also less than $ 3 gets one of them. Be weary of the times you come as the lines get long as its near the bus stops and schools.

Stopped in for something sweet after having lunch at El Pollo Supremo next door. Found: Super authentic Salvadorean pastries! The gramma that works here is really sweet. Not 100% sure if she bakes everything but they sure taste like it. She couldn’t speak much English but did her best at explaining(or at least trying) what everything was since everything is different from the Mexican panaderias I’m used to. Everything is super cheap! Picked up a bunch of pasteles($.50 ea), a pound cake, and this red cookie thing for under $ 3. Everything tasted really fresh, like gramma’s been up since 5am fresh. I liked the guava and mango pasteles, the cherry reminded me of those handheld pies at the end of the aisle of the grocery store, 3 for $ 2. My favorite was the red cookie thing(jallo sp?). It was this sugar crusted cake like cookie that was moist and filled with this strawberry jam unicorn sauce. So authentic I was speaking Spanish after.

This place is amazing! It is Salvadorean I’m pretty sure, so it’s not quite the same as a Mexican panadería, BUT the flavors here are orgasmic! Also, it’s easy to spot what you want because they all look great! The food is fresh and the people are nice, plus everything is CHEAP. I haven’t found a panaderia that was this cheap or delicious unless I was in little olé Salinas, CA. Know Spanish or point at everything and you’ll be fine! The yo-yos are fantastic as well as other sweet rolls and breads. polvorones are great, coladas are sweet and large, and there is a large variety of pasteles. Some flavors of pasteles include carne, pina, and fresa. I think they had mango once, but when I went last night they were low on items since it was near closing time. They are open M-Sat 9:30am-7pm and Sunday I think it was 12 – 5:30pm. The price and flavor plan on going back today! More review and hopefully pictures to come!

This is a central American bakery not a mexican bakery so the breads will be different

A bit different from the panaderias on 24th and Mission, but not bad. Lots of different empanadas, like prune, custard and standard meat. Apparently, I learned that quesadillas can also refer to bread with cheese, which is what they call their cheesy bread. Who knew? Oh, and they’re El Salvadoreno, not Mexican, which can account for the difference between it and the ones on 24th and Mission. Learn something new everyday.
