First of all, On Lok is an elderly/disable care facility, where people can join part time during the day and full time including room and board. They can have some group activities, although most are listless. Part time day care is great for non-English speaking Chinese elderly. It’s like dropping your kids at daycare. Plus, transportation is provided from and to your home. So, it earn my 2 stars. As for the full day care, it would be great too, but there is a major flaw. My relative and some others I know died from injuries from falling on bed, mostly at night time. Most were found laying on the floor in the morning, or at least several hours later. There is definitely inadequate staffing. Surprisingly, no Chinese people seemed to voice out loud on this!
