Terrible customer service. Just in there yesterday. Employees ignore the customers, and and store layout makes no sense… why would you put file folders in a completely different place than the aisle marked«Filing»? And PENS and Pencils should be towards the front, not way down the long line of shelves, which I should point out are all perpendicular to the front of the store instead of turned to make the store more inviting. BUT I could get past all that if they had decent customer service. When I checked out, there was a long line with only one clerk manning the registers. I suggested she call another cashier, but she looked at me, then around and went back to checking the customer out as if she had never heard me. Then to make matters worse, when I finally got to the register, she neither greeted me, nor thanked me at the end of the transaction. When will these store managers train their employees properly and drill it into them, that it is the CUSTOMER who pays their salary, even if it is the store that signs the check. I will not return to this store ever again. No wonder I usually shop Staples. Bye Bye Office Depot, you suck and I won’t be coming back = Dollars lost.

Dropped by during the middle of the afternoon. Right when I walked in, there was somewhere there to help me which I thought was pretty nice. I told him I was looking for plastic containers and he lead me straight to the aisle where they were located at. Now that’s customer service at its most basic form. Why can’t all stores be like this? With that aside, I came here very often when I was in grade school for school supplies. I’ve even bought my office chair here, which didn’t work out to well and just feel apart after a few years. Prices are decent if you know what to look for, but the sheer immense size of this place can be disorienting. Back to school days can have you waiting in line for half an hour so be sure to stock up early.
