The sad part about this place is that it’s across the street from my house. It’s beyond poorly managed and it shows. The store is very dirty, old and the prices are marked up beyond belief. A new owner could save this place, but unfortunately I don’t see that happing.

One of the most filthiest store and owner personal hygiene is really horrible. Prices are high and so as quality. Giving just 1 star. There are other stores nearby specially on Balboa.

There isn’t much competition when the locals stores are a little mart up the block and a Walgreen on 43rd Avenue. This store is much better than the one on 36th and Balboa.

what would i do without this place?! it takes care of all my needs from my lotto fix, chubby hubby urges, and desperate beer runs.
the new owner (we just refer to each other as «man» as in «hey man, how ya doin?») really cleaned the place up and keeps later hours than the previous owner.
the owner and his wife are always pleasant and work hard. i’d much rather spend my money here than the walgreens down the street.
