Extremely unpleasant shopping experience. Will never shop there again. How can this shop stay in business is a mystery.

The boy needed footie pajamas for Tahoe. We’d walked past this store the last time we were in town for his haircut. After spending a bit of time searching for it, because the name has absolutely nothing to do with the store we ended up finding it. Negatives: Yes, the service is a bit strange(make that fairly strange), the prices are a bit high and the singular changing room is in the very back. Positives: But… Footie Pajamas. They carry footie pajamas. You can try them on(we’d assumed a small and he ended up buying a large) and that’s a huge positive from buying online if you’re in a rush. Especially if you’re already in the area. Truthfully if in the future we don’t need them asap, I’ll go online. It’s too long of a drive and the negatives are too high for me to return unless it’s a urgent footie pajama emergency. But yay, footie pajamas!

An altogether unpleasant shopping experience. If you are in need of pajamas, this has decent selection. If you want good quality service while you shop for your pajamas, then go somewhere else. This place didn’t issue me a receipt, and when I returned the next day requesting a return(12 hours after buying the product) I was told that I had to choose something else in the store. I paid cash, and was willing to accept 50% on the dollar yet she steadfastly refused to give me ANY cash back. From other reviews the owner seems to be unstable(yelling at prospective customers) and this is another example of what happens when an unstable owner has a customer disagreement. Shop elsewhere. No one should be treated this way.

Prior to Christmas I crammed into this store with several other customers and purchased the fire engine red PJs for my husband. He loves them! Considering how comfy and warm they are, and how darn adorable he looks in them, I really should have bought these years ago. They make a great Christmas gift and the ladies working in the store easily sold me the correct size when I gave his height and weight. They have a fun pajama and sock selection and everything in the store can make a quick and easy gift for young and old.

Left work early and trekked all the way to Noe Valley to see if they had the cowboy slippers I wanted and they had closed early! Totally effen annoying. But I did have to go back for the damn slippers because they are so freaking cute. Now I wear them every night.

I want to preface that this review is based strictly on the customer service not the product. That said the customer service was horrific and the woman, presumably the owner by the way she was acting, was determined to get into a debate about anything and everything discussed. To make matters worse when I politely tried to bow out from this impromptu debate she started screaming that she wasn’t finished.

I also think it’s a pity one person had such a negative experience here — perhaps the owner wasn’t on duty that day, because she’s always been extremely helpful and attentive whenever I’ve gone in. I bought a pair of cute PJs to get me through the winter, but discovered a manufacturing flaw about a week after I’d gotten them. I was travelling, so by the time I made it back to the store, I’d been wearing them for a month and had washed them, but she still took them back, replacing them with an identical pair(sans flaw) on the spot, never even checking the receipt or giving me any trouble at all. The pajamas aren’t the cheapest thing I’ve ever owned to sleep in, but they’re cute, unusual, and good quality, and I always like to support small local businesses when I can. Give them a try!

Totally fun pjs, socks, boxers, and slippers; and the woman who runs(owns?) the place is generous and lovely. Just one example of why this is an excellent neighborhood shop — As a birthday gift, I received a very cool pair of ‘cowgirl boot’ slippers, but the color was just not for me. Even though I knew they were not purchased at this store, I went in and asked her, since she carried the line, if I could exchange them there. Not only was she gracious about this, but she also ordered the groovy purple ones I wanted in my size and then called to tell me when they arrived. Well above and beyond.

I think it’s unfortunate that the other person who reviewed this previously had such a bad experience because the woman who runs this place has been so nice to my family EVERY time we go into the store. Some may even say too nice! She’s so helpful and remembers what we bought previously. And they have the best striped onesies ever. Do try it for yourself and hope you leave with a onesie!
