The chocolate is outstanding and the store is beautiful, but they don’t seem to sell the right products. Why don’t they add mini breakfast croissant sandwiches to compliment the coffee and chocolate, or another type of whole grain pastry? I would never go here to buy coffee and then some place else for breakfast. While the chocolate is good, it is too expensive to be an everyday item.

Hands down the best ice cream in SF this is coming from an SF native!!! Seriously the creamiest ice cream ever, better than Italy!!! The chocolates are to die for, the chocolates are from Switzerland hand made by a chocolatier here in the states. Going back there ASAP. The prices are reasonable for this quality. Can’t believe this place doesn’t have a line blocks long. I suggest they give free samples to passerby because one taste and you are hooked. Can’t wait to go back.

My husband surprised me with a box of chocolates from here. My husband would tell the chef what it was he wanted to buy for me and the chef would only respond in French, which the cashier would then translate into English. He said it was the most hipster chocolate bar he’d ever been to but that made the trip memorable and fun for him. The chocolates lasted us about all weekend somehow(we savored each one) and they kept very nicely in the fridge. It’s definitely not in our price range to come here often but for really great chocolates that are actually worth the hefty price tag, this is where we will be going :)

This review is only for the OMG Candy Bar which was really good! Sea salt caramel and crispy hazelnut praline — yes please. Not so sure though that it was worth $ 7 for the size.

I have enjoyed the tasty latte/coffee here — very excellent coffee beans! They have successfully made whatever off-menu latte/coffee variation I requested. Very friendly, affable and good-humored staff who always greet/welcome with a smile. The macarons are very delicious — kudos to the chef!

This is a neighbor of ours and they have been so welcoming. The people there are incredibly friendly. But their macaroons though! And the chocolate! And the gelato! And the affogato! I’ve had them all. I took a box of macaroons to my staff at my former employer in Emeryville and they loved every one of them. I have purchased a box of chocolates as a gift and have recently had an affogato with sea salt caramel gelato and a shot of espresso to help during a stressful day. It took me back to when I was on a cruise in Europe where I had an affogato on a daily basis. It made me happy. Will definitely be back!

Here’s the thing: Their chocolates ARE tasty. But at $ 18 for 9 tiny chocolates that altogether weighed 3.17 ounces, they’re magnificently overpriced(for those of you following along at home, that’s $ 90.85/lb!!!)!! And the service includes a douchebro who might make you wait for service until he’s done chatting up two pretty young things who have no intention of buying anything and are just flirting with him to keep the free samples he’s plying them with coming. When he finally notices you exist(and the girls leave, having purchased absolutely nothing), he’ll wait on you, sure, but without any hint of the friendliness he demonstrated with his two previous compatriots. Meanwhile, you’ll pay $ 5 for the most mediocre, watery iced latte of your life, because he doesn’t seem to know that you don’t heat the milk in an iced beverage. And when you ask why they don’t have any macarons in their counter, despite them being listed on their marquee, he’ll make some flippant statement about how their chef is on strike, you know the French and how temperamental they are!(Really, dude? You’re going to defame an entire country of people while on the job and acting as a representative of Nuubia??) Oh, well. I’m not surprised. The Market, where this kiosk is located, is an overpriced millennial pickup joint for techies with startup money and a desperate desire to be recognized as a foodie. I stopped here to kill time near my friend’s house, but at the end of the day, I’ll stick to getting my fancy chocolate at the more reasonably priced Cocoabella or the massively-more-friendly Dandelion. And a bit of advice to the management of Nuubia: Most customers see it as incredibly rude for an employee to make them wait while he makes time with the ladies. If they’re also paying customers, that’s one thing, but otherwise, it’s excruciatingly disrespectful. In retrospect, I really should’ve just left. After all that, my overpriced coffee still sucked :(

YUM, so glad I discovered this place while exploring The Market. They must have sensed that I was a newb to The Market, as they enticed me over by inviting me to taste some of their chocolate. Very good gourmet dark chocolate — I knew I couldn’t walk away without indulging in something. Instead, I opted for some gelato since it was hot outside, and I was not disappointed. Not too cloying or heavy; it was perfect after coming from dance class. Prices were very reasonable, too. $ 6 for 2 big scoops? Yes, please.

Delicious and fun flavors at this new location in the Market on Market St. Tried the piña colada single scoop for $ 4. Turned out very light and refreshing all for the typical neighborhood price. Simply from the taste, you can tell they use good ingredients without overwhelming the flavor with sugar. Our server was also very friendly served us several samples.

This place is fabulous! My first experience at Nuubia was with the drinking chocolate. I have had countless«Hot chocolate» that were terrible. My Nuubia drinking chocolate was rich, creamy, perfectly sweet, and so comforting. I can’t say enough about the sweet owners. They are such a joy to be around! The store is very inviting, warm, and and the staff is great too. Definitely will be going back! Kudos to you Nuubia.

Finally! The CEO reached out to us and asked us to try again. This time we’re satisfied with the rich, chocolatey taste, it hits the mark.

I’ve only tried the macarons here, so I don’t have the whole experience down. But their chocolates looks delicious and adorable! The Staff is super nice and helpful! They willing to explain everything and are very welcoming! I’m rating solely on how I feel about their macarons, I thought they were only decent, but not amazing. I usually like my macarons to be a bit chewy, but these were pretty crunchy and not as enjoyable than I’ve had in the past. I bought three during my visit, banana, rose, and pistachio. All these tasted pretty good, but pistachio had the best consistency. I was kinda sad when I got back to work, because I found that the rose macaron had cracked and found that 2⁄3 macarons had air bubbles in them. All in all, great customer service, decent but not amazing macarons.

I really like their small batch ice cream. The almond has a good texture and an almost marzipan like flavor without being too sweet. The espresso is intense with lots of grounds in it and is really good. It’s $ 4 for 1 scoop and $ 6 for 2, so it’s not cheap. They also have Macarons and chocolates and were nice about letting us sample things.
