Not gonna lie this place is… Yuck! After a long night out partying the previous night you want something that taste good for delivery food. This place was not it. Boom done. Review over. Order from here if you don’t believe me.

There are many Chinese joints around here to choose from but I was attracted by the clean restaurant, lunch specials Til 5pm, and the name. I came in about 2pm, very friendly staff allowed me to get take out and eat in(generous portions). I order the egg and shrimp special over rice. Very straight forward, real egg and tasty shrimp without the tail. They also served an egg drop type soup that was very good along with chicken in it. So glad I’m not a vegan anymore! They have great hot tea and a relaxed environment.

I have seen their menus left at my door for so long that I thought I’d stop in for lunch of a change. My mistake. Should have gone to Jasmine Tea Room. The soup was too salty. The paper-wrapped chicken was more like paper-burned chicken; the chicken was burned to the foil/paper and not very tasty(although it was a generous order size). I ordered a chef’s special entrée of sizzling beef with honey sauce(which doesn’t seem to be on their online menu). It took forever to arrive, and when it came, it was indeed on a sizzling plate. But it was overcooked and super-tough. Like overcooked frozen steakums. I ate one or two pieces of the beef and mostly ate the bell peppers, onions and rice in the sauce… because the beef was unchewable. The vegetables were OK. Maybe their vegetarian stuff is good. But avoid the beef for sure. My total for a coke, paper wrapped chicken and the chef special and brown rice(not included, costs extra) was $ 20!!! Mind you I was there at about 3:30 on a monday and the lunch special was over, and they did give me a large order of paper wrapped chicken. I hardly ate any of it, and didn’t want to take it to go. The staff was friendly.

I highly recommend an item not offered on the menu. They offer meatless sweet and sour chicken however they do not of meatless general Tso’s chicken on the menu. Their veggie egg rolls are they best in the city. This place is friendly and I’m sure they would love a visit from you. So to all of my veggie friends this place worth checking out. It’s best if you dine it! There are fairly cheap and their lunch runs to 5:00 pm!

Worst food ever. Peking pork chops were all bone and the sauce was watery and vinegary. Pot stickers were all doughy and the filling couldn’t even hold together. Taste and consistency were awful. They also«forgot» the free sodas. I won’t eat there again. This is what I get for not checking Unilocal first!

Monday 2−27−129:49pm Personally, The best food I have EVER tasted is from Nulite Kitchen!!! I just happened to pass by a year ago and stopped in. I had great service & food then and now! I was unable to figure out the business name or address till I found the flyer on my door recently and placed the delivery order. I am very glad I did! Everything about the transaction was exceptional… 1. – I called at 9:49pm and their delivery stops at 10pm. The lady was polite and took the order without a hitch-she did NOT tell me sorry we are closed like other places would in the situation. 2. – The meal was only 35 minutes from order to door with a long 10 block distance. she called when she was outside as agreed. I buzzed her in and she came directly to my front door as agreed. I have a door bell that is actually a loud painful buzzer so these simple requests go a very long way for me when my door is not«buzzed» as requested. Other delivery restaurants have been given the same request and the buzzer always seemed to wake me up out of a stupor even after numerous orders from the same place with the same address and same request. Kudos to Nulite on the very first time! 3. – The lady who answered the phone was the same person who delivered the meal. She was just as polite, personable and thankful for my business. She said to me Oh, you are a new customer and thanked me a numerous times. 5. — The order was correct: 4 egg rolls, 4 cans of pepsi & the House Chow Main Special. Inside the main box was my House Special Chow Mein stuffed in the box as much as could be without breaking the box. The box remained secure and all the food remained inside during delivery! I was pleasantly surprised by the effort they must have taken to make sure the box was filled. 6. – ALL the food was VERY good tasting! The food was fresh with the right balance of quality ingredients. It seems to me the cook must be professionally trained. Whether or not this is true, my perception is that they must have the high standards and the years of experience required to deliver such an exceptional dining experience. Thank you Nulite Litchen!

I don’t think you can get a better lunch special than this place. $ 5.25 got me a delicious hot & sour soup, steamed white rice and fresh yummy kung pao chicken. Plenty of meat, fresh veggies, decent portions. My food was ready within 5 minutes. All the people who complained about delivery would probably have that experience with any local delivery spot on a late cold night. Welcome to SF. Totally going to come back here.

This is a review of delivery from Nulite Kitchen. It is easy to order via . Delivery — The order was placed at 8:46PM. The estimated time for delivery was 9:39PM. The order was delivered exactly on time at 9:39PM. It was punctual. But, at just over 50 minutes, it was not the fastest delivery ever. When I provided the driver with the buzzer number, he requested that I come downstairs. There was a $ 5 delivery fee. Add on a $ 4 tip and I would not expect to have to go downstairs to pick up the order. The order minimum is low($ 12). Mongolian Beef — There was some heat. The overall flavor was good. The meat was tender. The vegetables were properly cooked. There was a touch too much oil. Chicken with green beans — This was very bland. The chicken was tender. Once again, the vegetables were cooked well. They were still crisp. This dish was also a little too oily. The portion for both dishes was sizable. Steamed Rice — The steamed rice was correctly cooked. Packing — All of the food was packed into traditional Chinese food carry-out containers. However, one of was slightly smashed. It was not leaking but it was not easy to reseal. Prices — The prices were pretty much in-line with what I expect to pay for Chinese food carry-out. They give an auto-coupon for orders of $ 15. There are a number to select from. I chose the two free cokes. This also balances out the $ 5 delivery fee. The fortune: «Someone is watching you from afar» I do not know if this means I have a guardian angel or that I have a long distance cyber stalker. The lucky numbers: 5, 8, 14, 23, 35, 48 Overall, this is a mediocre option for Chinese food delivery. There is nothing that stands out. The delivery was prompt but not fast. Plus, there are plenty of Chinese restaurants that do not charge for delivery. The food was inconsistent. I do not see a compelling reason to order from them again.

I am crushed. I moved away for a while and when I came back? Everything had gone to shit. I don’t know what happened, but this place has done a complete 180 from my previous experiences. I have recently ordered twice from here. The first time, the food was ok, but had an odd aftertaste to it. I still can’t place it, but it was disconcerting… but otherwise everything looked ok. The last time? The«food» went into the garbage. I didn’t even eat it. Firstly, my sweet and sour sauce did not have the crazy-fresh vegetables I am used to. It had some shriveled up crap that looks like it had been in the pot or somewhere for days. Secondly, WTF is that hideous oil or cleaner they are using? My food(all of it, not just one item) not only had some sort of bizarre aftertaste and flavor, I honest-to-dog truly think there was a *chemical* residue in my food… it was HORRID. First to Worst. Congratulations Nulite, you’ve managed to wreck yourselves. I will not be ordering again, and I advise others not to either.

Pretty pleased I have a new I-don’t-care-too-much-about-the quality-Chinese delivery place. Ordered the steam BBQ pork buns(funky tasting, will never order again); beef chow fun(greasy and starchy but the beef tasted good) and the eggplant in garlic sauce(syrupy and sauce-heavy but actually very very good). The guy came to my door within 25 minutes of me ordering. That was nice. So was the lady who took my order, whom I could understand perfectly. Bummed I didn’t ask for the total because I could have used my over $ 20 coupon, which meant free pot stickers. Oh well, next time. Be sure to exactly that when ordering! Overall, just a shade above my other delivery place, Hunan Chef. And that’s not saying much.

Wow! Normally, I don’t trust restaurants that leave menus on your door. Feeling lazy a couple weeks ago, we ordered delivery from Nulite and were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. The delivery was relatively fast and the portions were more than ample. So, jump forward a couple of weeks, we gave them another try. We ordered the Szechuan dinner for two– hot & sour soup, pot stickers, egg rolls. pork fried rice, Mongolian beef, Kung Pao chicken– enough for two people to eat dinner and leftovers for lunch the next day all for less than 30 bucks? Wow. So tasty! So much food! We’ll be back again.

My roommate and I had previously placed orders over the phone with them and the delivery time is pretty prompt and the food has been OK I just placed an order online this morning and after waiting 25 minutes for my food I decided to give them a call. The person on the phone simply told me that their computer is not working and that my CC wasn’t billed. I placed my order with him again and I’m just hoping that my CC doesn’t get billed twice. I’m not to happy about the fact that they are taking orders online from people but there is «no computer» to expedite them.

After reading the other reviews, I’m surprised and scared to order tonight again, but I have to do it justice in giving it the full 5 stars that it deserved for my first delivery experience. We used grub hub off a friend’s suggestion. We ordered orange chicken, beef chow fun, garlic eggplant, and beef and broccoli. It was fabulous. All of it came piping hot. The orange chicken was mostly chicken which is unusual with a little bit of batter(LOVED it). The beef chow fun was fantastic and I really liked the garlic eggplant. You get a lot of it, so get it if everybody wants it. It was just me and I couldn’t finish it even the next day. We ordered it and it came in 20 minutes flat. When I have a craving, that’s the type of service I’m talking about! I’ll be updating it again after we order it again tonight!

There are many important firsts in a young man’s life, none more pivotal than the first time he gives out a 1-star Unilocal review. It can be traumatic if he doesn’t pick the right recipient for the lowest level of his disdain, scarring both parties forever. Luckily, this is not one of those ambiguous moments; I don’t think you could have a dining experience worse than the one at Nulite. I’ll leave out the gory details, because you probably don’t need them. Bottom line, Nulite is 2 – 2 in terms of making me sick, physically sick, after having eaten there. Apparently I needed another lesson to reinforce what I knew to be true after the first time. Normally, I would go back a third time, to isolate any other variables that were present the first two times, if only for the sake of the scientific method. And for the benefit of you, my many loyal readers. But in this case, I don’t believe my gastrointestinal health is willing to subject itself to another experiment. Also, I’m fairly certain no one will ever read this. PS: This is one of many reviews done in prologue(Episode 0) of my review of Mission St eateries from 30th to Cesar Chavez.

My order arrived pretty quickly, so I’ll give three stars. My sesame chicken was still piping hot. Jeffrey got the lemon chicken. So it’s a little sad, since it was so hot and fresh, that it sucked as bad as it did. Just doughey, heavy greasy sugary starch and cheap chicken. Damn it! I’ve been eating more healthily and thought I would splurge on sesame chicken after a long week of all salads for lunch. Mistake! I know, I know. There are a million choices out there. Dumbass me, I chose sesame chicken from Nulite. But it did get to our house really fast. Maybe if I had ordered a different plate, that didn’t involve breading or sugary sauces…

Delicious pork wonton soup w/full pieces of pork… check. Garlic chicken with crispy vegetables & rich sauce… check. Reasonable price… check. Fast delivery… check. It would seem that Nulite has been reading their Unilocal reviews; because, the meal I had from there tonight was above board the best Chinese food I’ve had in a long while. (And, I’m not a big Chinese food enthusiast.)
