I’ve been coming here for close to 3 years now. The guy makes a great pizza. Great place to hang out with some friends at night.

As a vegetarian it’s hard to fine places that care about your beliefs. I’m not a vegan, but I will not eat cheese that contains animal enzymes. Nizarios were not sure about what soure of enzymes were in their cheese, but they made sure that they made me something that was delicious and vegetarian friendly. Bravo, in the 23 years of being vegetarian, I never had that kind of serve, btw, the vegan pizza they made for me was fantastic!

I don’t care what anyone else tells you. Please do yourself a favor and go grab a slice of pie here! With a little(or a lot) to drink or responsible and sober: Pick any darn slice with your card or cash ready and enjoy!!! This is by far my favorite pizza joint in the States! I’ve had everything from cheese, to their misc. toppings and good lord, every time I bite into a slice it’s been a crisp crust, hot gooey oozey cheese, and their tomato sauce is a perfect balance of tangy and savory! Why are you still reading this? Go and and grab a slice already!

The menu language is different. A pie does not mean a pie literally but a pie size pizza in a pizza box. Because of a recent incident with some bad guys trying to rip the place(misuse of their martial arts), the behind counter is manned by tough guys. Whadda pie pizza, last for a week. I feel the defense all around me while I was waiting for my order. I feel very safe.

Perfect for those late night outings with your friends! Nizario’s Pizza is located in North Beach which is perfect if you’re feeling a little(or very) hungry after a few drinks. I’m not ashamed to say I finished a whole pizza with just one other person. The service is really cheerful and lively even during Halloween night, which meant mobs of slightly drunk people dressed in eclectic clothing. The line goes by decently fast even if there is wait. They have pizza slices ready for order and whole pizzas ready in about 10 minutes. The interior has plenty of room and decent seating as I never felt cramped. I was starving so the pizza was extra delicious! I ordered a whole meat lovers’ pizza to split with my friend. A freshly baked pizza is a wondrous thing. Nizario’s has a soft crust, melty cheese, and delicious toppings! The only suggestion I might make would be to add a water dispenser near the counter. Although, I assume they just want you to buy a bottle of water from the front. All in all a great experience. –Open late –Awesome pizza –Good service –Spacious interior

Ate there be we were desperate for a quick bite in the area. Terrible pizza(unless you enjoy flavors of cardboard) and shi*ty service. When asking for a cup of water after purchasing slices for 4 adults I was told«we don’t have cups» after telling them that was ridiculous they said «bi+ch, this is San Francisco we are in a drought.» Cool. So cool. Never again.

Nizario’s is a solid pizza spot when you’re in a hurry or don’t have the patience to wait in line at Golden Boy’s. Located at the border of North Beach, Nizario’s pizza has more of a crisp crust and a chewier and soft center. Definitely not a cooking style for everyone, but I personally enjoy when the pizza is cooked this way. Pricing isn’t bad and the guys who run the place are nice. Not to mention this place is open till 3am on the weekends. Definitely worth a try.

We had really bad service here when we came in. We were chased down when we had to use the bathroom and I was forced to come out of the bathroom to buy a soda for $ 1 before I could go. Seems like the owner cares more about a quick buck than about his customers. I’m sure the pizza is exceptional(or not) but the way we were treated was just awful.

Delivery is fast, easy to deal with and the Pizza is pretty good for the price. 25 bucks for a large pizza is not bad nowadays.

The pesto is reliable, the service is great, don’t be a drunken knucklehead and you’ll get along fine with the crew. I’ve had dozens of slices here over the years and will keep coming back as long as they stay this good.

The pizza is delicious but at nizario’s they do NOT give out free water BUT they have chargers. What kind of restaurant won’t provide a cup of water? A terrible one.

Thick crust, it’s of gooey cheese and a healthy portion of toppings. Great for a quick bite when you’re starving. You guys are life savers

We had the Garlic Chicken Special and it has garlic, chicken and pesto. It was good but I wish they didn’t put so much pesto into the pizza.

SCAMALERT! The late night employees and corrupt security guard at this location think everyone is too drunk to count their change. They messed with the wrong guy; I’m extremely allergic to alcohol. I ordered 2 slices which were $ 3.50 each. I hand the cashier a $ 20 and he rings up $ 17 for no apparent reason and gives me $ 2 change. Please see my Ripoff report and respond if you have been scammed here as well:

I’m glad my crew stumbled into this place after a day full of drinking. The pizza definitely helped sober us up before having to make the long trip back down to San Jose. Luckily for us, one our group members didn’t drink. Maybe I’m a bit biased when it comes to pizza places, but I really can’t tell the difference between«good» and«bad» pizza. I still love my Dominoe’s/Pizza Hut/Papa John’s from my days of ordering delivery pizza.

Awesome pizza! Great service, too. I was on my way to eat dinner at an Italian restaurant. The smell of their pizza brought me in for a piece. Then I had to get another… Top-notch experience!

I walk by Nizario’s everyday on my way to work and never found the time to stop in. I assumed that the place was only decent as it relied upon the tourists walking up and down Columbus. I think I was wrong. The pizza is pretty tasty and filling compared to other places in the FIDI. It was quick, hot, and reasonably priced. Also, as others have mentioned, it’s nice touch having the tax all rolled into the price — I hate carrying spare change. Finally, having worked in the food service industry before, I know customer services is always hard to find. The gentlemen that took my order was genuinely cordial and pleasant to speak to. Hopefully the owner gives this guy some time off as he deserves it. Chalk it up as another tasty spot in the city.

We ordered Nizario’s on two separate occasions for events at the office. The pizzas were quite good and very affordable. Also, if you order enough, they are very generous with discounts. Will definitely order from Nizario’s again.

Parking is non-existent but most likely you are searching for a place to eat as you’re walking around North Beach. Positives: Friendly service, open later than most places usually(not holidays) and the pizza has flavor to it Negatives: Pizza was cold

Assez bonne Pizza. C’est ouvert tard, du coup les Pizzas sont agréables à manger en retour de soirée. Mais né faîtes pas un détour pour vous y rendre, il y a mieux à SF.
