The lapels were large, the polyester flammable and the swingers party in full effect. You would think this was the late 1970’s but, unfortunately, it’s not. The swinger lifestyle is one that I don’t hear of often, yet I’ve learned has a thriving network in SF. I found an offering on , $ 20 for $ 40 Champagne Social Tasting Party. I’m never one to turn down bubbles so I grabbed a friend to sip and socialize. They were serving real champagne, from France, alongside a variety of pates and cheeses. The art was enjoyable, that is, until we started noticing the oddities in the other patrons. It wasn’t long until we had a small group huddled together, attempting to figure out what was«different» with the surrounding groups. Eventually, the curator came over to ask if we knew what we had stumbled upon. I got my $ 20 worth of bubbly, and entertainment for that matter!

A beautiful space located in the heart of downtown San Francisco. Nice variety of artwork, from paintings to sculpture. Be sure to check out one of their openings, great mix of people and a good time.

This is one of the better galleries in all of the city! I’m an artist and it is almost intimidating how good the art/curatorship of the place is. The art is fantastic and the artists shown are all complementary to each other. what’s cool about galleries in general(as opposed to Burger King) is that there will always be something new to see. This is a place to visit again and again. Another cool thing about this place is that the staff is ready and more than willing to give you a tour! –to show and explain the art. It really helps to have the processes; the back story of the art and artists explained. Rock on Nieto!

This beautiful gallery is quite the San Francisco gem. The Nieto brothers personally welcomed me into their gallery that showcases their father’s work amongst other exhibits. It’s amazing! I love the painting I left with, it will go up in my living room!
