My wife and I went to visit the family in the Bay Area from Colorado. We went into the store because of some china that caught our eye. We purchased the set of dishes and continued to look around the store. We ended up making a deal on a beautiful round table with inlaid wood and ornate chairs. We were assured that the«warehouse» had new in the box sets. We asked for two additional chairs to make a set of 8 total and were assured that this was not a problem. As part of the deal, the proprietor(Ari) threw in an additional set of dishes that matched the pattern of the table. The table and chairs were promised to be delivered by their drivers as they had a truck on its way to Colorado. We were also promised that the driver would help with setup. When the delivery arrived it was a UPS truck and the driver was not interested in much more than dropping the two boxes(800 pounds) at the sidewalk. After some convincing,($$) he put the crates in the garage. After unpacking the boxes, 6 of the 8 chairs were delivered; of those 4 had liquid stains on the seats and 3 of the chairs were badly nicked. The bolts for the table had been previously installed(as they had wood bits all over the threads). We clearly received the floor model of the table and chairs. The original set of dishes we purchased was missing a cup and saucer set. We eventually were told the set was no longer made and the set was unavailable. A phone call and I was promised that the two additional chairs were being ordered. Two weeks later, several calls, several emails and no response. My bother-in-law lives in the area and went by to have a chat with the owner. More promises and no action. A short while later I had a business trip and we stopped by again to inquire about the chairs and pickup a check for the repairs on the chairs. I was promised the chairs were shipped… when asked for a tracking number I was promised that by the end of the day. The next morning I called Ari only to be cursed and yelled at for waking him at 8am. I received a tracking number, finally. The chairs were shipped the day we visited the shop. Bottom line is this business is not honest and they make promises that they don’t keep. They did a bait and switch on the table, and denied it. Dishonest business and I will never do business with any of their multiple locations again. You have been warned!

We just received our marble/quartz pedestal from Natalie’s. They shipped it up to Seattle for us. When it arrived I was extremely impressed at the care and hard work that went into the crating. The crate and packaging was almost a work of art itself! I thank the staff for putting up with our phone calls during the time we anxiously waited for the shipping. I now understand why it took a little longer to get it to us than we expected. They really went a long way to make sure this nice piece stayed in pristine shape. They took the time to do a first class job and were very helpful and informative as to the progress as we called down for status. And by the way, we did not overpay to get this top notch service — we got a very good price on a beautiful piece. This store is a great place to browse for things for the house interior that range from beautiful furniture and decorating additions to the wildly exotic pieces. Big stuff and smaller stuff. I have been in other stores like it but nothing quite the same when it comes to variety and selection. Fun to just look at the unique pieces. Friendly staff that does not high pressure you. They leave you alone to browse if that’s what you want. Their prices ranged from fair(high prices for large unusual pieces that deserved to be paid a bit more for) to very reasonable(you can find some bargains). We will definitely go back every time we are in San Francisco.
