Muriel Leff Mini Park

This is a great little mini-​park. We’ve been coming here often for 2 years now, and have never seen any suspicious activity. Probably because it’s directly behind the Richmond Police Station!
This is a very small park with a grassy area, a sandbox, a picnic table, and a strange red piece of art. There are also a few benches. My son loves digging in the sandbox and running through the grass. Just be careful of dog poop, despite the large sign to pick up feces, there are always fresh piles everywhere :(
This is a nice place to sit for a bit and eat your Taco Bell or food from CoCo’s Café around the corner. We just got home from 2 hours of play.
Oh another note, there’s a beautiful decorative black fence between the park and the police station parking lot and buildings. But the gaps between the bars are large enough for a toddler or dog to run through, so be careful you don’t lose your kid/​pet and have to flag down a hopefully nice officer for help!
