Mrs. Fields Cookies have been around since the 70’s. They have been one of my favorites since then. We were surprised to find a very nice store located right in the middle of Pier 39. They sell all their many varieties here and especially the chocolate chip. I discovered that they also make a chocolate brownie so i had to buy some. They were little ones called Brownie Bites. They are absolutely delicious. I couldn’t resist buying a whole box of assorted cookies. I also found out they have a web site so i can order more when I get home.

Poorly run. They have pigeons roosting above their shop which defecate onto customers below. The employee argued with me about exchanging/replacing my purchase with new cookies after the bird defecated on my hand and in the bag. Even then, she refused to replace one cookie because a bite was already taken. Had to publicly indite them and warn other customers before she replaced everything. Unbelievably cheap and questionable health priorities. Reported them to SF Public Health Department. It’s not hard to put up a nail-spike block to prevent pigeons.

*Closer to 2.5 stars These cookies were chewy and gooey… yum, right? Too bad most of them were overly salty. Bleh! My friend got the triple chocolate and macadamia-white chocolate cookies and I got the milk chocolate and semi-sweet cookies. I’m guessing the milk chocolate helped mask the saltiness, but the remaining 3 cookies had a salty aftertaste… not something I desire for a cookie =_=. Tip: the local advantage deal(pier 39 .com) is a bit of a trick. There’s a sign in front that says 3 cookies for $ 5.50. The deal claims that it’s buy 3 cookies, get one free. HOWEVER, this coupon is for the regular price of a cookie($ 2.45 each… when did cookies get so damn expensive? haha). In the end, you end up saving maybe 10 cents. We fell for it and ended up being the chumps. Mrs. Fields: 1. Jessica and her salty cookies: 0. :[

Same cookies as always. Good but expensive. I think I actually like Costco cookies better.

The cookies are absolutely delicious. The locations I’ve normally seen are open stands where you can buy freshly baked cookies that deliciously warm and the prices are very reasonable. They have regular sized cookies and mini cookies that you can buy by the half dozen or by the dozen. It’s a cool location. The cookies are warm and fresh, and the prices are resonable. Nothing better than that.

mmm bought a dozen of mini cookies with my boyfriend and all the flavors we got was delicious! I love bite sized cookies; its not too filling and you get to sample the other flavors. We got milk chocolate chip, peanut butter, oatmeal raisin with walnuts, and cinnamon sugar one. All so good! I love how the peanut butter cookie reminded me of roasted whole peanuts rather than just peanut butter. The cinnamon sugar was soft, sugary, and buttery. The oatmeal raisin with walnuts was not your typical oatmeal raisin cookie it had good flavors and texture. The least favorite to me was the milk chocolate chip cookie; I’m not a big fan of milk chocolate so I found it to be rather on the sweeter side. I’m a dark chocolate kind of person.

I bought a muffin. The lady told me it was chocolate chip. I bit into it and it was blueberry. Haha. Suprise! But it was good. Their coffee is good too.

When you’re feeling frugal, you can still have a good time. Mrs. Fields was a happy stop for both of us. Three big cookies, a bottle of water, and a café latte, $ 9.25. Free tables along the west edge of the pier. All the natural and man-made beauty of San Francisco Bay and Pier 39.
